• How can I get a picture of 'Overflow' property in IDML?

  I use InDesign CS5.

  In the script, I get full ownership of "Overflow" to see if a given text block needs. I couldn't find a similar property in IDML. Is it possible to determine only an IDML exported if overflow text is necessary? By this, I mean that the story is too long to be displayed in its entirety and so a block of text of pursuit should be displayed.

  What I'm trying to do is take an IDML, check on every block of text to see if there is a text not displayed with a 'too small' structure, and if so to take the necessary measures. Suggestions for basic IDML, workarounds or pointers would be accepted with gratitude.

  IDML contains the unformatted textand you cannot see how much space will take when opened with InDesign - is InDesign itself that does all the formatting, lexical, rationale, paragraph deal and everything. IDML defines only the pages, the images and the text that goes into it.

  The short answer is that there is no direct equivalent to the RangeFills property function in Windows Forms, but you can emulate the effect with prudent use of certain primitive types:

  The longer answer is that, for the first version of WPF controls, we have intentionally left much of the underlying primitive types with a minimum documentation, because we can modify them in the future. In the current implementation, we use RegionPanel and the properties attached as RelativeHorizontalAlignment for doing the layout for a large number of our controls. Although these exact members can be removed in a future release, we do not expect to provide an equivalent function and stabilize the primitive API over time.

  Also this warning, I hope you find it useful.

• Setting the size of the font of an array of strings programmatically

  I can't find the correct property to programmatically adjust the size of the font of an array of strings.  For a chain, it is quite easy with a property node and the text. FontSize property.  There must be a similar property to an array of strings, but I'm not.  Can anyone help?

  Take the element ref table and class type a more specific (string) and then you can set with a property node's font size.

• Disable selection of text on the indicator of the FP

  This is asked in the spirit of an attractive user interface. I have a text box that displays the different bits of data. This part works fine. What I would do, is make it impossible for the user to select the text in the box. A click of the mouse inside the box would behave like a mouse click on a free part of the window of the user interface.

  At this point, I turn around the Image of the 'Get' invoke the node with the intention to create an image of the indicator and then display instead. Is there an easier way?

  Just turn it off.  If you still want this way, then right-click on it and choose Advanced-> checked-> disabled state.  There is a similar property node if you want to do it programmatically.

• Newbie: What version of WL is required to use the experimental WL plugins?

  I managed 10.3.5 installed and connected on jrockit r28, but get with 10.3.2 on r28. The WLDFDiagnosticVolume property is not available on the managed nodes, for example. I am able to connect to 10.3.2 and see the JRockit JMX counters very well, but I'm looking for WebLogic JDBC WLDF counters in particular. They are not there. Is there a workaround for different versions of WL?
  
  And for kickers, my installation of Mission JR control seems to have developed some bits of rust, too. I was able to run "Help\Install Plug-ins.... (Not supported) "once and installed all sorts of things. Now, however, it will not work. He complains, he does not feature on the selected site and told me to choose another.

  WLDFDiagnosticVolume is available from WLS10.3.3, this is the reason why you can't find this property in WLS10.3.2

• Graph plot legend colors Signal not updated when mixed with the property node

  Hello

  We try to put the colors of the trace of a graph of Mixed Signal using a property node. Although we can change the color of the data in the field correctly, the colours of the plot in the legend do not change until some apparently unrelated operator action is performed (for example, to resize the window or by double-clicking a field name).  Waveform to XY charts don't seem to have this problem.

  Anyone know a work around?  I think I saw a similar topic on the forums earlier, but I'm sorry that I am unable to find it now

• How to change the color of the elements of a digital picture (separately) programmatically by using the property node?

  For example, I have 3 digital controls, controlling 3 digital array elements (digital control is connected directly to the indicator). So if I change value in digital control 1, then the table item # 1 of the digital table should blush when the value is greater than 5. Similarly when I change NUM controls 2 item 2 of the table should turn red when the value control num 1 exceeds 10. Similarly for the 3rd element. In other words, I want to control the ownership of the elements of the array individually through the digital command separated.

  I did it for unique digital indicator.i.e. When I change the values of the control, then a single digital indicator changes color (text digital property BG) and with table values, changes the color of the entire table, but I want to change the color of the singles of the table element.

  I hope you do well! You cannot change the properties of elements of an array. What you could do instead is probably using a table where you can change the background color of a cell?

  I've seen this a few times to 8.6, as well as other similar issues (for instance I reliable get several entries on a Subvi to be stressed at the same time, as if the cursor is positioned on each of them). It didn't seem to do something bad and just seems to be a problem of display update.

• LVOOP DataGridView crash when a specific property defined in certain order

  I am writing an API in LVOOP for the DataGridView control .net, especially because I like / want combobox in the functionality of the listbox. Everything is fine, but I ran into a strange thing sort of. In the attached code "test.vi", if I set the property to allow the user to add true lines once I added a combobox column, things work fine. But if I set it to false, I get a crash.

  Now, if I set the same property to true or false BEFORE I add this column, I get no crash. I can't seem to reproduce outside LVOOP so I wonder if that is the question. Could someone let me know if they can reproduce this? I put all possible cases in diagram disable structures, so you just turn on and off properly.

  Note: I hope that you are familiar with context-sensitive help, as I have not created icons for my screw (yet)

  I see the same thing on 2012, even if it is not acutally that an accident - just LV gets stuck in the unresponsive State.

  If you make the control more, this stops happening, probably because the cell or the last row is now visible, so I suspect that there is an unhandled exception or something similar somewhere that LV is waiting, similar to what is described here - http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en/winformsdatacontrols/thread/00437163-e197-4ba1-9e95-a3a24...

• [XML report] Stage custom SequenceCall created, but cannot filter by new property

  I got in trouble, reference to a property of a custom step of SequenceCall that I created.  The idea is to add a field to the SequenceCall I can fill it with an Expression of Post and then filter this SequenceCall if it is a string.

  I have attached a screenshot which should clarify things more.  What it shows is that when looking at the XML source (left) from the standard property "ReportText" is located in the same container of "TEResult" as my new property 'profile '.  This similarity of structure is reinforced by TestStand display of the newly created 'Clemente_SequenceCall' (top-right).  However, when I try to access the text of the 'profile' of all the body of the report does not make due to an error somewhere above the function of "CheckIfStepSatisfiesFilteringCondition()".  What is strange is that I can access the text of "ReportText" very well and conduct audits against it to filter a call of the sequence.  The two properties, and the lines of code are so similar that I am puzzled by what Miss me.

  

  Since it is a custom property that have all the steps, should I check first if the profile property exists?  Unfortunately I have no idea how to proceed.  I feel somehow depends on the operand 'typeof' in javascript, but my first attempts to compare it to 'undefined' did not work...

  Just as I suspected.  I make sure that the profile object exists before you start to use its methods.

  We load limits access with 'OpenDatabase Step', 'OpenSQLStatement step' and 'property Loader. This has worked well for years. Now, we moved the limit-database to a SQL Server. The SQL Querry remains absolutely the same because the database schema is the same:

  you're right about the documentation of the stage of the Open SQL statement. Because obviously your step does not set the option "Require parameters", it should run immediately. Of course, which corresponds to your observation (which also confirm the accuracy of the documentation).

  To sum up a bit:

  (1.) the delay occurs only through the property stage Loader

  (2.) the delay occurs only if an MS - SQL Server server is configured. Using a MS Access in the property Loader does not show the delay (the two databases comparable, also in the amount of content?)

  (3.) the delay occurs in TS 2012. Previous versions of TestStand do not experience this delay.

  Please comment on each point and, if necessary, correct them describing the same situation. Thank you.

  Have you ever tried to create a new full property magazine with a similar configuration? It also meets the delay?

• How ENUM as TDMS property of reading / writing?

  Old road to LabVIEW, new brand tiara.

  I need to convert a structure of arbitrary complexity in properties, suitable for writing in a PDM file, in such a way that they are recoverable and (hopefully) to be readable by humans, such as whn, the file is loaded in tiara.

  I have most of it works fine, but I have trouble with ENUMs.

  An ENUM can be converted to a VARIANT very well, but that the alternative of writing to a file produced error-68007.

  A simple test shows this:

  

  The encoding process is quite simple - given a generic control Ref, just look at its CLASS ID.

  If the ID is one of those basic, just get its value in as a variant and add the berries of NAME and OWNERSHIP:

  

  If the element is a CLUSTER, then the controls that it contains and make them one by one:

  

  If the control is a TABLE, it is a little more difficult.  Since there is no way to obtain a reference to an arbitrary reference, you must use a reference to an item that you have.  To use it, you must show one and the same element.  This code is that, while restoring the original notice:

  

  HOWEVER

  ENUM, as I said earlier, converted to VARIANT very well, but TDMS will not accept it.

  Here's a technique that works, sort of:

  

  By converting the enum in an I32, you get the digital value from its current location and can put that into a Variant.

  During playback, the digital value will set the ENUM control correctly, so that's good.

  The problem is in the tiara, the property will look like:

  Whatever_Engine_Cycle 2

  Even if this is true and read back OK, he doesn't tell the user what kind of cycle is.

  The point of ENUMS was to put names to specific numbers.

  I tried to convert the variant to a STRING instead of an I32, but occurs 1057 (IIRC): "cannot convert a Variant to the specified type.

• How to set a property for all of a type of control in a cluster, by programming?

  Good afternoon everyone,

  I have a couple of clusters on my front, each consisting of 7 rings, 7 LEDs, numbers 7 and 7 channels... all the controls.

  There is a left and right cluster of these... but just focus on the left one to play with... specifically left 1 LED (labeled 1) programmed.

  As part of my code, I have allowed the user to select, LED lights... and I turn off so he can't just be deselected.

  I have a button on the screen which I will reset all LEDS that have been created and a few other controls too eventually.

  I know that in this case, I can create 14 knots of property for each individual LED and it Enable value.

  I'm just guessing there is sort of a more elegant way to do again... similar to set the values of massive for clusters using the name, defining values and writing in the cloister.

  I can't seem to find a way to do it with the properties on the cluster control as easily as you can do with values...

  Any suggestions?
