simple e-mail notification on new user create

Hello

I'm new on oim 11g. We do a little POC where we need to send an email to the admin system on new user create. We want to just test the notification feature in OIM 11 g.

Please let me know how to proceed, without any programming, if you want to send messages to the new creation of the user.

I thank you,

Kalpana.

provide by e-mail for the user xelsysadm. The default sender is xelsysadm

However you can change it by changing the IOM - config.Xml. export it, change it and then import the same and restart the server. ()

Likewise, you can set the mail ID as well in the config file.

  • New user created does not all data in reports

    Hi all

I use Hyperion Planning 11.1.2.1. I have a problem when I created a new user in the system through shared Services. Reports are reports and analysis reports.

I have reproduced a current user of the system and applied the same groups and provisions. However, the new user may not display all the data in the reports. However, the current user is able to do. I'm quite literally baffled.

The existing user has been given to the provision of "Planner". In addition, the existing user has dimension security applied as well. It works very well with the existing user, as when I connect as long as existing user, the data is available only for groups and dimensions that it has been assigned to. But when I apply the same groups and provisions to the newly created user, I get absolutely no data, although I can see the report.

But if I ask the Essbase Cluster: provision of administrator to the new user, all data is viewable in the reports, regardless of the dimension of security.

I'd appreciate emergency assistance to get this issue resolved.

    Concerning

Go to EAS, then continue with your application/db and view filters, I guess that for previous users filters?
If so your new user has filters, if maybe you need to refresh the security filter, of planning.

    See you soon

  • What is the password of a user created by impdp?

Can someone tell me what is the password for a new user created by impdp?

    Hello

When you remap the schema, the password will be unknown. I'm sure that the reason for this is because the password is a hash of the schema name and the password in clear text. If you imported the schema without renaming the schema, the password would be him, but since the modified schema name and the hash of the combo has not changed, then when the connection is attempted and the hash of the new scheme with the game of wontch original password. The only way that a remap_schema is allowed is if you have privs, so the only way I know how to solve this problem is to:

    change new_schema user identified by new_password;

    that requires administrative privileges.

  • Why should I create a new user profile when you remove a damaged user account?

I have a corrupted user account and was referred to the following link http://windows.microsoft.com/en-CA/windows-vista/Fix-a-corrupted-user-profile

However, I don't understand why we're required to go through this complicated process when we go to Control Panel - user accounts and family safety-user accounts - add and remove accounts delete user accounts until you can actually remove an account asks you if you want to keep the files of this account.  It is said that it can automatically save the contents of this user account office and favorite Documents, music, photos and videos in a new folder on the desktop.  I realize, this does not include e-mail messages, but I thought I could export those to a memory stick and then import them into my new user account.  It all seems a much simpler process than to create a new profile.  Why Microsoft suggests must create a new profile?

Thanks for the return of the response.  I guess that it was just a typo, but it's OK.  Please let us know if you have any other questions or you are experiencing other problems.

  • New Mail notification to appear in my Windows account login screen, peux I turn this off?

I started using Thunderbird for my email because I am so sick of "Comcast/Xfinity" unwanted advertising and dumping else on my computer when I just want to make my Comcast email. I've customized email Thunderbird (options, etc.) to display the way I want. However, I use a shared computer I put in place will have to connect to multiple user accounts or the Admin and now T-Bird puts in place a notification on my user account (on the Windows login screen) of new e-mail arriving and how many new emails I have. I don't necessarily want other users to see if I have new messages and the number of new messages I. Is there a way to disable this "feature"? I don't see any option in the tools of T-Bird.

  • I created a new user account, but it does not appear to connect to it. (Vista Home Premium)

I created a new user account for my admin account.  I tried to create a standard account and I tried to change to an administrator account.  The only place that this account presents itself is managing it new user accounts in Control Panel.  If I try to change user or sign out and then sign back, it never gives me the possibility to sign until the new user account that I created.

I read another post that said to try to restart in safe mode, what I tried without success.

I also don't get no error messages, so I was not trying to fix anything, given that I'm not sure it's broken and I don't want to do something worse.  I only use this computer and Vista for a few days now, so I hope it's something simple I'm missing because I am not yet familiar with the operating system.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

  • the profile user account folder can be renamed instead of create a new user account

I noticed this issue posted everywhere that none got the answer, the person posting was looking for.  Basically, the question is "can the folder of the user profile account be renamed? '...  I have the same problem.  I sent a PC in for repair.  They reloaded the operating system and created the new test user account.  Rather than just create a new user account, I've renamed the test NAME user account.  I couldn't help but notice later that user account folder name has remained the same "TEST".  That's why you have people to ask the question "can the folder of the user profile account be renamed instead of create a new user account."  It of an easy fix but does not answer the question.

It is not usually. If you have a computer, why not have just him take care of it for you instead of friction top yourself? ;-)

Try this instead if you really must do it yourself:

    1. create a new administrator account. Call it 'CompAdmin' or 'Tech' or similar. You definitely want to have an administrative user account like this set up that you will use not except for emergency situations. You will use this in the elevation of privileges in your daily report - which will be a Standard account - but will not need to connect to CompAdmin after that company copy unless something goes terribly wrong. ;-)

    2. create a new user account Standard for your daily work. This called something that makes you happy. I don't know your real name, so I'll call it "HDXer". Connect to HDXer to create the profile files/folders.

    3. connect to CompAdmin and:

    a. Control Panel > everything on the control panel > Folder Options

    b. click on the view tab, click hidden files and folders, clear the Hide protected operating system files check box and then click OK. Now you can see everything.

    c. using Windows Explorer ("computer"), search for the file C:\Users\Test.

    d. Select all files and folders in this folder, except the following files: Ntuser.dat, Ntuser.dat.log and Ntuser.ini.

    e. click on the Edit menu and then click on copy. If you don't see the Edit menu, press ALT.

    f. Locate the C:\Users\HDXer folder.

    g. click the Edit menu and then click on paste. If you don't see the Edit menu, press ALT.

Sign out and then sign back in as a HDXer. All your stuff should be there. You need to configure your icons and wallpaper (Control Panel > Personalize) and some preferences have been postponed, but really with the exception of the email all your data, Favorites, etc., should now be at the HDXer.

If you have messages in an e-mail program, such as Windows Live Mail, Thunderbird or Outlook, you must import your e-mail messages and addresses to the new user profile before you delete the old profile. Because I don't know what you use for email, I can't give you the details about it. If everything is working properly, you can remove the old Test profile by using the user accounts applet in Control Panel. It won't hurt anything to make you leave the trial on the system for a while, or even forever.

  • How can I create a new user account any movement towards it and delete the old

Win7 need to create a new user ACCT. move all the Info for it because want to rename the computer, and then delete the old user account

To create a new user profile

To create a new profile, you must first create a new user account. When the account is created, a profile will also be created.

    1. Open a user account by clicking on the button start , by clicking on the Control Panel, click user accounts and family safety (or by clicking on user accounts, if you are connected to a network domain), and then clicking user accounts.

    2. Click on manage another account. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    3. Click on create a new account.

    4. Type the name you want to assign to the user account, click an account type, and then click on create an account.

To copy files to the new user profile

After creating the profile, you can copy the files from the existing profile. You must have at least three user accounts on the computer to perform these operations, including the new account that you created.

    1. Log on as a user other than the new user that you created or the user that you want to copy the files.

    2. Open Documents by clicking on the button start , and then clicking Documents.

    3. Click on the Tools menu, and then click Folder Options.

If you don't see the Tools menu, press ALT.

    4. Click the view tab, click hidden files and folders, clear the Hide protected operating system files check box, and then click OK.

    5. Find the C:\Users\Old_Username folder, where C is the drive that Windows is installed, and where ancien_nom_utilisateur represents the name of the profile you want to copy the files to.

    6. Select all the files and folders in this folder, except the following files:

      • Ntuser.dat

      • Ntuser.dat.log

      • Ntuser.ini

    7. Click the Edit menu and then click on copy.

If you don't see the Edit menu, press ALT.

    8. Look for the C:\Users\New_Username folder, where C represents the drive Windows is installed, and New_Username is the name of the new user profile you created.

    9. Click the Edit menu and then click on paste.

If you don't see the Edit menu, press ALT.

    10. Sign out and then sign back in as a new user.

If you have messages in e-mail, such as Windows Mail, you must import your e-mail messages and addresses to the new user profile before you delete the old profile. If everything is working properly, you can delete the old profile.

  • Move the user off the system disk folders? Envy of all the data on E, so need to move directories user E. not individually, but in the world. If all new users, I create will have their user and docs folder on E.

Got a new laptop with win 7 home premium pre-installed. Using the language of win 7... I have decreased the volume of HDD to 55 GB.  Made new simple volumes. I want all the data personal on E, so need to move user directories to E. No individually change the location tab on dozens of files, but in the world. If all new users, I create will have their user and docs folder on E from the gitgo.

Under XP, I could just change the 'My Documents' link on each desktop, go to the e. * instead of c *. *, but with win7?

As a Windows Home Server and most wise OS facilities, the system drive is isolated and a drive of 2 or 3 for everything else.  Get a problem? Just restore the system drive.

PS Microsoft: This backup/do imaging software, why don't we name the image so many can all be stored on easily in one place without having to go and rename it or move them elsewhere?

    Hello TomZork,

Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.

In another forum, I found the instructions to move folders of users to another drive.
You can follow the post here. This is attributed to Jimmie R. Houts.

    Article:
You can move the entire folder C:\Users to another drive quite easily once windows is installed:

    1. Boot from the installation media and access the command prompt (I think you need to click on fix everything first)
    2. Use Robocopy to copy C:\Users to D:\Users: robocopy c:\Users d:\Users /mir /xj
      a. /mir says robocopy to mirror directories, this will copy all files and permissions
      b. /xj is very important, it means robocopy does not follow the points of junction. If you forget this, you will have a lot of trouble.
    3. Make sure that the files copied successfully
    4. Delete c:\Users
    5. Create the junction pointing d:\Users: mklink /d c:\Users d:\Users

That's all. I used this process for Vista RTM with no problems.

Here's an article that explains as well. Just use robocopy instead of xcopy as it does in the article in order to avoid possible ntfs permissions problems.

Update: because I discovered the hard way, I thought I would mention also that if you plan on switching "Program Data", or "Program Files" with this method, you will be disappointed to know that everything works as expected, but the windows updates will install is no longer. I don't know if this problem has been fixed in Win 7.

With the foregoing, it is not a Microsoft forum or Web site so you will have to use at your own risk. I also recommend to do a system restore point before making any changes in directories that you can then go back to a previous state.

Please reply back and let us know if these suggestions help you to solve your problem, then to benefit others.

    Sincerely,

    Marilyn

  • How to keep my entire office when I create a new user account

I just created a new user account to solve a problem with my account live mail, but I want to keep my old office display.  How to achieve this?

    Hello

Thanks for your posting in Microsoft Community

What type of account you created?
Is it a limited account or administrator?
If sa is an account limited, you will need to log in as administrator account and you must give permission to access Office

If it's an administrator account you can access the desktop computer from the old account to which you want to access by going to
my computer > c drive > user > desktop and copy those file on your desktop or other disc

Account limited, you must log on as an administrator and give permission to access desktop of type lusrmgr.msc in the box RUN and press on into the House.

Double-click the users folder > right click on the new account is created (have you creat) > properties > click on Member of > add > administrator...

And trying to hold the Office to your account
