  I just bought Adobe classroom in a book to learn first Elements 9, but I hit a brick wall in the first chapter.

  The statement is to start organizing and choose file > get Photos and videos > files and folders.  However when I run the Organizer it is without tab at the top showing file, edit, search, view, window, help.  The screenshots in the book show that these should be present.

  Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

  It is impossible to say without knowing more about your computer and operation - or at least to see a screenshot of your interface.

  Have you tried to maximize the program?

  Also, do you see the small arrows at the top right of the interface? On some configurations and sizes of screen, the menus appear when you click on these arrows.

  Your hard drive may be faulty.

  You do not have a backup.

  You have adware.

  You must:

  (1) buy an external hard drive and make a Time Machine backup

  (2) use EtreCheck to remove your adware and perform another backup.

  (3) get rid of the antivirus software which obviously does you no good.

  (4) operate your machine for a week or two. Then run another EtreCheck. If you have disk errors, then you should get your hard drive replaced. It is possible that your antivirus is causing these errors.

  (5) If you continue to encounter disk errors, download your hard drive replaced in an Apple Store or Service Center authorized Apple. I suggest a Service authorised Apple Centre and see if they update your RAM and give you an SSD too. You don't need really to do with the Mavericks, but if you want to go to Yosemite or El Capitan, you'll thank me. Given that you need to open the machine

  I have this game on my laptop called besieger when I try to open this message appears that says that the windows pagefile is disabled enable it in Control Panel e I watched all and down the controll panel and I can't find the windows swap file or as it is sometimes called the windows page file so please tell me how to activate the windows pagefile

  3. Click on "view advanced system settings.
  4. Click on the "Settings" button... ' in the section 'Performance '.
  5. Open the "Advanced" tab
  6. Click on 'change... '. "in the section"virtual memory. "
  7. Check if the system partition has "No paging file" checked

• Windows Home Server help please with the reader.

  I have a Windows Home server in my office that has a single hard drive in it.  I continue to be told to use the repair utility when I turn on my computer.  I bought a new drive for the server.  Now that I need help, it's how to duplicate the new disc of the former, is there a way to do it, or do I have to copy all the content on another machine on the network, and then install the operating system from the beginning.  I want to avoid the loss of data.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

  There are essentially two options available

  Place the new drive as the primary drive and keep the original as a secondary disk. Install WHS as a repair install and it should pick up original and index folders and re-create the tombstones for them. Then use the move to folder option in the console to make the folders shared the second partition of the disk. However, the indexing process is quite intensive and is perhaps not ideal with a line of demarcation for lack of drive.

  Alternative, remove the old drive and install the new, install WHS as a new facility that will create partitions C and D, including the new shared folders empty. Once the installation is finished, put the old one in as second drive or if this is not possible an external drive dock and then copy the contents of the old drive in the new. That would be my preferred option because it is perhaps easier and safer.

  There is no option to save and copy and settings users, even with a repair installation, you must manually recreate the users.

  We have two laptops, both using Windows 7 and a hub BT wireless, everything works fine, until I decided to reinstall windows. Now, with this computer, I just haven't been able to connect to the internet, even if the other laptop works very well. I'm no computer whizz and so enjoy really simple instructions on how I can connect to our BT Hub (internet).

  You will need to install your wireless adapter and Ethernet driver.

  I feel like a fool. I put my header guide in my master page, but when I saw (in both muse AND browser), my content stream of page on my head. what I am doing wrong? I'm designing on a mac powerbook. work on v6.0 off the cloud creative muse.

  Howdy all. a good friend gave me a solution. I got my 'pinned' to the top header elements. I thought that was the right think to do. of course it wasn't. i not pinned them and voila. fixed a problem. I hope this helps someone else going through the same stupid dilemma.

  I have tried adjust the text on the tabs all the morning and just can't do it! Is it possible to position precisely because the tabs are not in a straight line. I want to make them as links.

  It is not just that the tabs are not on the same horizontal line, you try to use HTML/CSS to get the words to hover over an image.  It is difficult because the image is fixed, while the text is dynamic, which means that it will be resized and moved differently on each browser and monitor resolution.

  To get the text to insert in the tabs and NOT move against them, you must do one of two things.  Either design "tabs" using CSS (or Javascript or a combination of both), or put the text you want in the tab image and use a map image to the links clickable tabs.
