  Hey kasreedharen,

  No worries we will figure this out together.

  When you click the icon of three point you who use to view the contacts on the sim card. You will not be able to delete them from there.

  Once you decide to view the SIM1 contacts if you hold the contact card, you should be able to modify it or delete it. If the deletion is not in this menu, it should be found in the Edit menu once you have selected it.

  My access panel unlocks on the side right and rear, but the left side does not move much.

  The latch pivots on the left side.  She feels fragile, I will admit that!

  Just slide your fingernail under the gap, pop it upward and turn it counterclockwise.  The pivot seems to be spring, and I can actually raise 90 degrees upward without breaking anything!   Seems to be designed that way.

  Open the app Store game, and then click on the Options icon in the upper left corner.  Select "settings/general/Auto Update.

  Change the selection is "do not auto-Update apps" or "Auto-update via Wifi applications only.

  Slate 10 HD is not a phone.  The SIM card is data only.

  You can try to use Skype or similar applications to make calls.

  I bought a new HP slate 6 yesterday and noticed that my phone doesn't show any network connectivity to the SIM card every 40-45 minutes and I have to restart the phone to get connectivity back and this keeps the happenning.

  Hi vij12pan, welcome to the Forums of HP. I didn't find any documentation for troubleshooting specific to lose connectivity to your device. If this isn't a hardware problem and not a problem with your service provider, then perhaps this diagnosis could apply: Tablet Locks Up or freezes (Android 4.2/Jelly Bean)

• HP Slate 10 HD 3604 EV - no network 3g mobile?

  Hello... Just bought HP Slate 10 HD 3604 EV... but unable to connect to a 3g network.

  When I try to do the initial Setup, it says that I should connect to wifi and later I can switch to a mobile network.

  OK, do I connect to wifi, get everything done and then when I go to the menu"without wireless & networks"... there is no option for "mobile networks".

  I removed the SIM card and inserted in another Tablet, and it worked fine there.  If the SIM is OK, but when I put it in my HP slate 10, nothing happens.  As I said, the menu hasn't even the option to data mobile, apn, etc..

  I do not understand that this tablet isn't a phone... and that the SIM card is reserved for data, right?  But it was advertsied as a 3g + WiFi tablet, that's why I bought it.  I'd appreciate your help... Is there something that I'm not just doing? How can I use my mobile network to connect to the internet?

  Slate loan proceeds 10 HD I have HP (planned for me my help here), the 'switch' to use the Mobile data is located in the section "use of data".  You will find a slider to market "Mobile Data".

  Mine came with a SIM card for T-Mobile.  I had to create an account with them to use the connection. (I was using today to a Dr. appointment!)

  There was some other posts here of users who try to insert their own SIM cards.  Not much reported success.

  I just bought my wife an HP Slate 10 hd and put in place, I got sim with a PIN code but on the reopening of the device later, he asked for a puk code number. As the Unit came with a HP data sim inserted past I don't have any idea or information about the PUK code or which service is responsible. The sim card has a set of numbers on the subject, which are as follows:-

  89462, 79920, 70333 68517. Of which none seem to be the right number. My machine is HP slate 10 hd 3610EA. After trying a few numbers from the code bar under the serial number I have asked pin and then confirm the PIN, but he just came back to demanding PUK No. I to the United Kingdom and bought directly from device from HP Shop online but support is now closed until Monday and peripheral cannot e even when the sim is removed. Can any one help I see that others have had problem with slate7 but not answerswith solution.

  FaceTime is forbidden by the law in Saudi Arabia and the UNITED Arab Emirates and is removed from iPhones sold in other countries of the Middle East, if they are used outside the country where they were originally sold. If you plan to use an iPhone outside the Middle East, then don't buy it in the Middle East. The one you bought there FaceTime was illegally imported from another region and sold it.

  I know there are discussions on this subject but answers all explain how to get your SIM card is displayed. I don't have a SIM card. I don't want one. I bought a cell phone compatible iPad because I want the GPS. If I need to connect to the internet while I am away from home, I use my iPhone as a hotspot.

  Only the carrier, that the device is locked can authorize an unlock of the device. You will need to contact them to see if they provide unlocking services and if you are eligible. If you, then follow the directions. If this isn't the case, you will need to wait until you do.

  This should not happen (AFAIK). I use several SIMs when they travel, and it never happened to me. What iOS you run and if it is always passed or there started recently?
