Simultaneous request - inactive without Manager

Dear all,

We have some problem to run processes simultaneously all module to PROD. The process still appears pending | Sleep state. Refer to Note: 150519.1 - we had to kill all pending process using kill - 9 command & restart the concurrent Manager. However, the problem still not solved but the status displays now inactive. No Manager.

With the help of the responsible system administrator:
Responsibility of the system administrator > simultaneous > Manager > manage
There are a few new 'name' appeared in the PROD which appeared to TEST.

The log of the internal Manager shows as below:

  • Output of reprints of simultaneous requests

Hi, I copied the above concurrent program to a personalized and added "Report XML Editor" in the list of incompatible programs, because my custom program (exit custom reprints of simultaneous requests) must run that ends the report XML editor. But the custom program ends in the 'Inactive' Phase and the status of 'NO Manager'. We tried to bounce the CM, but no luck. Any help is appreciated.

PS: When I add the report XML Editor to the list of incompatible programs for the seeded program - out of reprints of simultaneous requests, everything works fine.

    Hello

    Please, check the following:

    (1) make sure that APPLPTMP is set to a valid directory------(verification of the operating system by issuing "echo $APPLPTMP" as user applmgr)

    (2) ensure that user applmgr and the 'oracle' database user have permissions to read/write on $APPLPTMP

    Kai,

What is the version of the application?

You can try to serve these applications referring to the [Note: 309573,1 - too many lines in the FND_CONCURRENT_REQUESTS Table Where program_application_id = 0 | https://metalink2.oracle.com/metalink/plsql/ml2_documents.showDocument?p_database_id=NOT&p_id=309573.1]

Additionally, make sure that "serve others" parameter value is 'yes '.

SQL Server target without Manager, trail or replicate on the target

We want to set up replication between Oracle and SQL server database, but we do not want to install Golden Gate on the SQL server system. Is there a way to set up on the side of the Oracle or by using a staging server that connects to SQL server remotely?

    Thank you

    Steve

    Hi Steve,.

It is possible to install the Oracle delivery process in one remote server other than the server where the Sql server database is installed. Please check the point below "Using Oracle GoldenGate 12 c with SQL Server databases"

Install Oracle GoldenGate Capture on the source database server. Read level access is from the journal transactions requires Capture to be installed on the local database server and not on a remote server. Installation of Oracle GoldenGate delivery can be on another server that target the database server, as long as are the pilots of the SQL Server client on this server and the connection to the target database can be established.

  • Increase the number of simultaneous processes of Standard Manager

    Hi guys,.

How to increase the number of simultaneous processes of Standard Manager from 8 to 12?

    Oracle Applications 11i

    Database 10 g

    HP - UX OPERATING SYSTEM

    Thank you

It depends on how your system is used (number of users.., the number of applications, number of CMs and process, etc).

You must try it yourself and see how your application behaves if you notice any performance degradation, so you should be good to keep the new numbering.

  • PC error: Lift without Manager!

I have a PC, Windows 7. I can't open a PDF at all and receive the error message of "lift without Manager!" I have uninstalled/reinstalled Acrobat and Reader. I used the tool Clearner. I also was on the phone with our company COMPUTER to support the team for 2 days. No one knows how to solve this problem! Everyone says it's a matter of MAC, but I have a PC. Help, please!

I never saw this message on Windows before.  But this could be just another form of Adobe Reader, malfunction and closing, in which case I usually start with these three suggestions

    1. Using Windows Explorer navigate to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader, and then double-click Eula.exe and accept the license agreement
    2. You can open Adobe Reader by itself?  If so, try to disable the Protected Mode [Edit |] Preferences | (Improved) security].
    3. It might even be a malware problem; See http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/reader-core-dll-error.html

  • Simultaneous requests...

Require user access Sysadmin to monitor all simultaneous requests through our EBS? Or is there a specific responsibility that can be assigned to another user account to allow them to monitor past cr in all directions?

    Salvation;

Y at - there no specific responsibility that allows sysadmin to do that, then I could assign only this responsibility to another user (not sysadmin).

If your user name is responsible for the system administrator, the user can see several simultaneous requests.
