Hi Sourabh
Value for the profile options - simultaneous field: conflicts at the level of responsibility does not exist in the form of conflict area causing the request return inactive - state no. Manager. I have updated the value of the standard profile and even helped solve the problem

Select * from fnd_profile_option_values a
where profile_option_id = 2172
and level_id = 10003
and not exists)
Select 1 in FND_CONFLICTS_DOMAIN b
where a.profile_option_value = to_char (cd_id))

  • Unity Mode - icons in the taskbar on the host do not work as expected for some applications

In Unity mode, the icons in the taskbar on the host computer do not work as expected for some applications. The following problems may occur:

    1. several icons for a single application.

2 aero Peek does not work if the application is reduced.

3 icon moves to the end of the task bar after restoration of the collapsed state.

These problems make it difficult to work in Unity mode. Here are some details about my setup:

VMware Workstations Version: 7.0.1 build 227600

Host: Windows 7 64-bit (all updates applied)

Client: Windows XP (all updates applied)

Steps on how to reproduce the issue n ° 1:

    1. start the mode of the unit for Windows XP clients.

    2. launch Visual Studio 2003 on the start menu of the unit.

    3. minimize and optimize Visual Studio 2003. Finally, you should see several icons, each with a different air look.

When this happens, you can maximize is more than a simple click (as there are a stacked icons). Sometimes, only one of the icons to display Visual Studio 2003 (when testing this now, the other icon displays a portion of the Office of comments). If multiple copies of Visual Studio 2003 are launched, it is difficult to know who is who.

    Procedure reproduce problem 2:

    1. start the mode of the unit for Windows XP clients.

    2. launch Visual Studio 2003 on the start menu of the unit.

    3 minimize Visual Studio 2003.

    4. place the cursor on the icon. You should see the icon in Aero Peek (similar to the Aero Peek look when you use Microsoft Windows XP Mode).

Aero Peek works great for other applications reduced, such as Windows Explorer.

Steps on how to reproduce the issue n ° 3:

    1. start the mode of the unit for Windows XP clients.

    2. launch Visual Studio 2003 on the start menu of the unit.

    3. start Windows Explorer in the start menu of the unit.

4 to minimize Visual Studio 2003.

5 optimize Visual Studio 2003. The icon disappears briefly and then displayed in a different location (to the right of the icon in Windows Explorer).

I guess that these issues will eventually with the similar Microsoft products such as SQL Server Management Studio, newer versions of Visual Studio, Microsoft Office (I guess just--I have not tried other programs).

These questions, it is very difficult to use Visual Studio 2003 in Unity Mode, which is the main application, I need to use the virtual machine. I would love to see these issue fixed.

    Kind regards

    Tim

Hi Tim, this behavior all boils down to the fact that when you reduce the VS, is not to minimize as windows normally do. VS hides the main window, and then returns to the window in the reduced state.  When the host sees the window becomes hidden, she removes the button from the taskbar to the window of the unit; There is no way of knowing that the window will be re-shown again later.  The thumbnail Aero does not work for the reduced window because the host never saw this window in its normal state, so that the host knows not what are the contents of the window.

The good news is that you can work around the button behavior of taskbar in Workstation 7.1 by pinning the window VS. In this way, the taskbar button will always be there no matter how many times the window of the unit is shown/hidden. It will not solve the problem of thumb nail, however.

  • Your system is low on virtual memory. Windows is increasing the size of your virtual memory paging file. This process may be denied requests for some applications.

When I start my laptop I get "your system is low on virtual memory. Windows is increasing the size of your virtual memory paging file. This process may be denied requests for some applications. "and my laptop takes forever or does not open my programs. any help? Thank you.

    less than low disk space,

What seems to be the case, it's that your windows is having a hard time resize its file for virtual memory.

my suggestion is to remove "auto" at that time, and then set a custom format.

I recommend that you set the initial size of 2 and max at 1152.

Here's how to put a link:

  • Simultaneous request - inactive without Manager

    Dear all,

We have some problem to run processes simultaneously all module to PROD. The process still appears pending | Sleep state. Refer to Note: 150519.1 - we had to kill all pending process using kill - 9 command & restart the concurrent Manager. However, the problem still not solved but the status displays now inactive. No Manager.

With the help of the responsible system administrator:
Responsibility of the system administrator > simultaneous > Manager > manage
There are a few new 'name' appeared in the PROD which appeared to TEST.

  • The font is too small for some applications on Windows 7, as a GOAL, that is to say

Okay, all of a sudden, the font on my computer in some applications is so small, that I can barely read. It is only in a few applications. For example, AOL Instant messenger, a few pages on Internet Explorer, etc. It's not all so conventional solutions do not work. I read in another forum of type "fonts" in the area of research and make a right click and click install font. However, my computer does not allow me this option.

I'm not a computer geek so please use plain English or I will have no idea what you're talking about and I'll watch just stupid. Please and thank you!

    Hello

1 how long have you been faced with this problem?
2 did you recent hardware or software changes to your computer before this problem?
    3. what other applications are causing this issue?

Please answer these questions. This could help us help you better.

Step 1: You can try to change the settings of internet police explore and check if the problem occurs again.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/zoom-in-on-a-webpage

Step 2: See the article below to change the font on AOL Instant messenger setting.
    http://help.AOL.com/help/microsites/microsite.do?cmd=displayKCPopup&docType=kc&externalId=223346

Step 3: You can also try the SFC scan currently running on the computer and check.
    Reference: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833

Most of the applications have the parameters to change the font size. You may try to check the application settings, if it has the same problem with other applications.

  • VMware Tools upgrade changes machineID, breaks the issuance of licenses for some applications

We have this application called localization, manufactured by Hyland Software. Whenever I've upgrade VMware Tools on our ESXi hosts on all virtual machines, it breaks the granting of licenses for the application and localization will not work until the licensing is completely redone. No idea why this is happening?

Below is the reading of the application regarding the issuance of licenses, and attached is a screenshot of the error in the application. I'm certainly not asking someone to solve the problem of the application, but what on earth could possibly VMTools change that would have caused this? Thanks in advance!

If this is what is causing the problem?

I'm sure of it - about 99.9% Yes.

And if so, what changes would affect a particular software feature licenses?

"All the virtual machines have a hardware version, which shows the characteristics of virtual hardware that supports the virtual machine, such as BIOS or EFI, number of virtual slots, maximum number of processors, the maximum memory configuration and other features material." - from http://www.vmware.com/products/datacenter-virtualization/vsphere/compute.html

They probably linked the license to an individual (or several) attribute of the "hardware" of the virtual machine. Think of it regarding a physical system - changed nothing in the operating system (at least not GUID, MSN, etc.), it was something that the operating system has access to related material. You could probably bug them enough and get them to reveal madness method they use for this, but I don't know if it would be really useful. You can leave virtual to older material , to some extent, which means that you can reduce the number of times you have to repeat this process.

  • Stay on for some applications

Is there a way to make the Surface lit for some apps?

I use Microsoft Surface to read books on my Kindle and read the Bible through YouVersion.  The problem is that I can spend some time studying a screen and during this time, the Surface of the screen turns off.  Even worse, it's when it disconnects me.

Default energy saving settings are really tight. Search for "Power Options" in the settings to open Power Options in Control Panel on the desktop, then select change settings for plan and incress the time before the screen lock. Note that there are different parameters to be plugged and running on battery power.

  • Manager profile: some applications push successfully each time, others never push successfully

I have a cool (from about 3 weeks) version of 10.11.1 the install app server with the configured profile manager and was previously fully functional.  This morning I went in VPP and 'bought' 8 new free applications that appeared in my list of application profiles manager soon after.

Now, I have 6 apps that will grow to 100% of the time without error of iPads.  One is a company of ipa, is a managed distribution VPP (notability) app, the other four are free apps 'purchased' via VPP this morning (OneDrive, Quizlet, iBooks, K3000 Firefly).  These push and re-grow my devices to test without problem each time.

However, I then an another five apps that fail every time during the initial registration of a wiping device and subsequent attempts manually, select them and push them into the Profile Manager.  These 5 are another successful distribution VPP app (AudioNote, who was working when pushed since last week), the other four are free apps "bought" the VPP store this morning (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Flashcards *).  These failures are recorded in the "completed tasks" without any details on why he didn't actually and do not appear on devices.

Until this morning I had only been pushing two distribution managed VPP apps and both worked very well.  This behavior has persisted after a few reboots the server MP, turning off the firewall, etc.

I turned on logging APNS but do not see anything clearly wrong being connected here in these applications fail.  I don't see anything that seems to be of importance in the /Library/Logs/apsd.log well.

It would be more logical if only a guy worked / didn't work (i.e. just the apps Distribution managed to VPP, or just the IPAs or just free apps).  It is not even related to the order that they were added to the Profile Manager.  What could cause some apps to fail and others to work?  What is the next step in troubleshooting?

This has been/is somehow iOS 8.3 related well that I was not really able to determine exactly what is happening.  My test devices were fresh, out of the box with iOS 8.3.  I could go in the app store and download applications that have failed without problem even if so it wasn't simply a 8.3 problem of incompatibility app for these particular applications.  After their passage to 9.1 applications grow now as expected.  I have no explanation for why AudioNote would drive forward to the devices iOS 8.3 without problem but then decided to stop pushing until they had 9.1.  The behaviour persisted many wipes, reboots, and registration so it wasn't just reset that occurred within the framework of the iOS update.

  • BlackBerry smartphones no Menu for some applications on Bold 9930 (OS7)

Some of the apps that I downloaded on my new Bold 9930 with OS7 cannot be moved because it lacks the menu that allows me to move the application.  When I select the app in the 'All' view and click on the BlackBerry button, no menu appears.  It's as if the key is dead and totally inadmissible.  This only happens to some of the apps I downloaded and no matter the source.  Some were Appworld and some have been downloaded from other sources.  With other applications, a with 'Application Switch' in the top menu when I press the BlackBerry button.  The 'problem' apps work ok in all directions and I tried to remove and re - download them, but who has not solved the problem.

After much trial, error and omission, I was able to solve the problem.  Even if some of the steps below seem repetitive, none of them of the problem.  This process will take a few hours so be prepared.  Also, I have my BlackBerry through work so I have the Enterprise Server and use the Activation of the company to backup such as emails, contacts and calendar items.  The process below deletes all these data permanently without a backup of the device, so unless you have a similar business system (business) maybe this isn't the right thing to do for you.  Here's what I did:

    1. Take your multimedia card out of the BlackBerry ("BB") device.  I doubt that it has an effect, but that's what I was doing.
    2. Manually remove all third-party applications the BB help AppWorld or other means.
    3. Install the latest version of your BB OS on your computer.  I have Verizon and typed 'verizon blackberry software updates' in Google.  It brings you to www.vzam.net.  Follow the instructions to install the download file of the operating system on your computer.  (Note: I don't know if this is necessary for the next steps, but I did when trying to another way to restore the operating system.)  However, I do not know if the following steps require actually you have the new operating system to install on your computer).
    4. On the BB go to security and do a Wipe of all data security and users, installed applications.
    5. When #4 is done, connect your BB Desktop Software 6, click on the "?" in the upper right corner, then click on Support resources-> Support Tools-> Reset to Factory Settings
    6. Now go to your C drive-> Program Files-> common files-> Research in Motion-> Apploader-> open the file called "Loader".  Follow the instructions.  The "active" elements are the elements you want resettled on your BB and uncontrolled elements are the ones you don't have.  I checked (or left as checked if it is already enabled) all items that came with the BB.  By now it should not be apps, but make sure that all third party applications that you have installed are unchecked.  Now click on "Advanced".  In the next screen, called "Device Data Preservation", make sure that both boxes (remove all app data and delete all currently installed apps) are checked.  In the next screen, click on "do not auto backup and restore the device.  Now, click Finish.
    7. The BB should now be completely and totally erased.  At this point, I did my Enterprise Activation, which has restored my e-mail, calendar, contacts, etc..
    8. Now, I went to AppWorld and downloaded apps one by one and the menu that I was not before getting to move, hide, etc. apps worked fine.

I hope this helps.  Once again, if you don't have a similar Enterprise activation system, then you will need to include some kind of backup in the process described above, or else you will lose all data.  But make sure do it separately.  If you use one of the methods above to back up and reinstall, you could just reinstall the problem.

  • Help blackBerry Smartphones: lost emails / texts, without contacts and some applications do not work on 9780!

Yesterday my camera started to get really slow so I decided to restart it. I did and was still slow, so I did a batt pull. It seemed be allright job but started sometime send me errors (app 603 / and these application exception).

Now it takes a long time to turn on, when he does continues to give these errors and some things do not work, for example, I can see my contacts but I can't open it to see their information.

Before I format it, I was wondering if anyone had these problems and if there is no solution?

The only thing I would like to try and save it would be my contact list (no, I didn't save the device)

    Any help is appreciated.

Next - think about this behavior at startup. What happened just before that date? A new application? An update? Something else? Think very carefully, because the smallest thing can be causal.

    Before I format it

Have you thought about how you will try that? After all, 'format' is not a same command available on a BB...

If you decide to go ahead, I recommend a refill of BONE. from a PC, you can install any bundle of BONES to a BB via this procedure:

Note that although written for "reload", it can be used to upgrade, downgrade, or recharge - it depends on the OS package you download and install on your PC. You can even use a different OS package carriers simply insert, between steps 1 and 2, the deletion, on your PC, a file named PROVIDER. XML. remember that you remove from your PC, no matter what other packages devices OS BB as having more than one installed on the PC can cause conflicts with this procedure.

If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

Creative suite 5.5 installer installs version 5.1 for photoshop, illustrator and fireworks. works perfectly loading 5.5 for everything else. How can I fix it?

    Hello

In Cs5.5 all the application are not upgraded because there are a few applications in changes that occurs as Indesign, however the other application in which no new feature were introduced, they were named the same that is CS5.1 just to avoid the confusion of cs5.

That's why application like Indesign cs5.5 in name here because they have new features in the version cs5.5, but the application like Photoshop, Illustrator have CS5.5 in name here because no new functionality has been added in them, they are same as CS5.

  • Cannot write the review for some applications

I was trying to assess the ICB application and I'm getting the pop up I have to own the application before I can add a comment to it. Of course, I installed the app on my phone. Restarted the iphone and still the same problem also tried on itunes and same issue as well. Help, please.

    Thank you
