Sites that cannot be made

I'm afraid it seems to be a growing number of sites that are simply not rendered in Firefox. Http://www.psmag.com/ and http://www.linguee.fr/are two examples. The last site used to return the property, but it has stopped working. Both sites make it very well in Google Chrome! Using Firefox 38.0 5 for Mac with OS X 10.9.5. Please review!

You have any content blocking extensions?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

  • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
  • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

Try disabling IPv6 (also check other possible causes).

You can view the journal du Net and network log in the Web Console (Tools > Web Developer) see fails to load.

You may have installed one or more variants of the malware "VSearch' ad-injection. Please back up all data, and then take the steps below to disable it.

Do not use any type of product, "anti-virus" or "anti-malware" on a Mac. It is never necessary for her, and relying on it for protection makes you more vulnerable to attacks, not less.

Malware is constantly evolving to work around defenses against it. This procedure works now, I know. It will not work in the future. Anyone finding this comment a couple of days or more after it was published should look for a more recent discussion, or start a new one.

    Step 1

VSearch malware tries to hide by varying names of the files it installs. It regenerates itself also if you try to remove it when it is run. To remove it, you must first start in safe mode temporarily disable the malware.

Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is defined, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can not do this. Ask for other instructions.

    Step 2

When running in safe mode, load the web page and then triple - click on the line below to select. Copy the text to the Clipboard by pressing Control-C key combination:

    /Library/LaunchDaemons

    In the Finder, select

Go ▹ go to the folder...

from the menu bar and paste it into the box that opens by pressing command + V. You won't see what you pasted a newline being included. Press return.

A folder named "LaunchDaemons" can open. If this is the case, press the combination of keys command-2 to select the display of the list, if it is not already selected.

There should be a column in the update Finder window. Click this title two times to sort the content by date with the most recent at the top. Please don't skip this step. Files that belong to an instance of VSearch will have the same date of change for a few minutes, then they will be grouped together when you sort the folder this way, which makes them easy to identify.

    Step 3

In the LaunchDaemons folder, there may be one or more files with the name of this form:

    com Apple.something.plist

When something is a random string, without the letters, different in each case.

Note that the name consists of four words separated by dots. Typical examples are:

    com Apple.builins.plist

    com Apple.cereng.plist

    com Apple.nysgar.plist

There may be one or more items with a name of the form:

    com.something.plist

Yet once something is a random string, without meaning - not necessarily the same as that which appears in one of the other file names.

These names consist of three words separated by dots. Typical examples are:

    com.semifasciaUpd.plist

    com.ubuiling.plist

Sometimes there are items (usually not more than one) with the name of this form:

    com.something .net - preferences.plist

This name consists of four words (the third hyphen) separated by periods. Typical example:

    com.jangly .net - preferences.plist

Drag all items in the basket. You may be prompted for administrator login password.

Restart the computer and empty the trash.

Examples of legitimate files located in the same folder:

    com.apple.FinalCutServer.fcsvr_ldsd.plist

    com Apple.Installer.osmessagetracing.plist

    com Apple.Qmaster.qmasterd.plist

    com Apple.aelwriter.plist

    com Apple.SERVERD.plist

    com Tether.plist

The first three are clearly not VSearch files because the names do not match the above models. The last three are not easy to distinguish by the name alone, but the modification date will be earlier than the date at which VSearch has been installed, perhaps several years. None of these files will be present in most installations of Mac OS X.

Do not delete the folder 'LaunchDaemons' or anything else inside, unless you know you have another type of unwanted software and more VSearch. The file is a normal part of Mac OS X. The "demon" refers to a program that starts automatically. This is not inherently bad, but the mechanism is sometimes exploited by hackers for malicious software.

If you are not sure whether a file is part of the malware, order the contents of the folder by date modified I wrote in step 2, no name. Malicious files will be grouped together. There could be more than one such group, if you attacked more than once. A file dated far in the past is not part of the malware. A folder in date dated Middle an obviously malicious cluster is almost certainly too malicious.

If the files come back after you remove the, they are replaced by others with similar names, then either you didn't start in safe mode or you do not have all the. Return to step 1 and try again.

    Step 4

Reset the home page in each of your browsers, if it has been modified. In Safari, first load the desired home page, then select

    ▹ Safari preferences... ▹ General

    and click on

    Set on the current Page

If you use Firefox or Chrome web browser, remove the extensions or add-ons that you don't know that you need. When in doubt, remove all of them.

The malware is now permanently inactivated, as long as you reinstall it never. A few small files will be left behind, but they have no effect, and trying to find all them is more trouble that it's worth.

    Step 5

The malware lets the web proxy discovery in the network settings. If you know that the setting was already enabled for a reason, skip this step. Otherwise, you should undo the change.

Open the network pane in system preferences. If there is a padlock icon in the lower left corner of the window, click it and authenticate to unlock the settings. Click the Advanced button, and then select Proxies in the sheet that drops down. Uncheck that Auto Discovery Proxy if it is checked. Click OK, and then apply.

    Step 6

This step is optional. Open the users and groups in the system preferences and click on the lock icon to unlock the settings. In the list of users, there may be some with random names that have been added by the malware. You can remove these users. If you are not sure whether a user is legitimate, do not delete it.

  • Routing between sites that use the site to site VPN

    I'm running 7.2 (1) two 515 who have a VPN site-to-site set up a bit as follows:

subnets of the main site - router main site - PIX1___Public IP's___PIX2 - remote site

The main site router: CAT6506 with engine SUP1A

    Subnets listed in motor SUP:

    SUB1 VLAN

    IP address 180.x.1.x.255.254.0

    VLAN SUB2

    IP address 180.x.2.x.255.254.0

    VLAN SUB3

    IP address 180.x.3.x.255.254.0

    VLAN SUB4

    IP address 180.x.4.x.255.255.240

    PIX1 is the subnet SUB4 (180.20.4.2)

    Remote site subnet: 192.168.1.0/24

Route the engine by default Overtime toward another router that reached the internet via another public IP subnet.

Any host on SUB4 can reach any host on the remote site as long as the SUB4 host default gateway is the inside int PIX1 (180.20.4.2).

No matter what SUB4 host that uses the 180.20.4.1 address (router) default gateway cannot communicate with a remote host, but can communicate with any host from any subnet of the main site.

All remote hosts can communicate with any host on SUB4, regardless of the gateway of the SUB4 host address.

All remote hosts can communicate with the router on SUB4 main site, but can not reach one of the other interfaces subnet configured on the router.

I've added a static route on the SUP engine:

    router IP 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0 180.20.4.2

    That did not help.

The uses of motor SUP EIGRP to learn other subnets main site reached through routers, so I added the remote subnet to that:

    Router eigrp 10

    redistribute static

    network 180.20.0.0

    network 192.168.1.0

    No Auto-resume

    No log-neighbor-changes to eigrp

    No chance, no more.

I can't help thinking that I'm missing something very basic.

    Any help is really appreciated

    Hello

PLS, find the changes that must be made and checked.

    PIX remotely:

    1. you only need a default route and that you can route your subnets via inside as they are outside, so remove these statements

2.i see Access-group configured to be applied to the external interface for traffic coming from the outside, make sure that all required subnets are allowed.

    3. in the access list for the corresponding traffic to cryptomap, I see that one included subnet, pls have all included traffic that must be encrypted (as sub1, sub2..)

    Main PIX:

    1. in the access list for the corresponding traffic to cryptomap, I see that one included subnet, pls have all included traffic that must be encrypted (as sub1, sub2..)

    2. is there an 'access-group outside_access_in' access list present in the pix the corresponding traffic - check - the pls

    3. by nat (inside) 0 access-list inside_nat0_outbound, include all your inside subnets that must have access to the remote subnet

    L3 switch:

1.I see a default route pointing to your router 3640, so pls add a static route to your remote subnet pointing to Pix

    IP route 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0 x.x.22.2

    2. pls check in your L3 switch, wheter the appropriate subnets sub1, sub2 are learned properly via the conifugred Eigrp VLAN respective

for example .sub2 and sub3 learning with leap following 8.2, sub 5 via 30.3

Pls try to understand the topology and make configuration changes and let us know the results

  • How to enlarge the fonts on other sites that I visit in firefox

I just upgraded to a newer used laptop, the first to use Windows 7 for me. It's my first day, so I still have a lot to learn.
I went to open Facebook, but police loggin page was so tiny. It seemed that the page had shrunk. Not all sites for this. YouTube has a video screen size normal, but all the list right is in the same way as a 2-point font, illegible.
I opened the control panel to adjust the font size. He made all the pages of basic Windows big enough, but not changed my browser.

What? I clicked the button on this page to automatically add a convenience store and an open window to install Sinc or something. which doesn't seem right?

    Hello

Have you tried the Firefox zoom feature? This initiative will increase the size of the web pages.

    • To make things bigger, press Ctrl and + at the same time.
    • To make things smaller, press Ctrl and - at the same time.
    • Pour reinitialiser to reset the size of return to normal, press Ctrl and 0 at the same time.

You can also use the NoSquint. Add on to change the zoom level by default for all websites at the same time. After setting your overall zoom level, you can still adjust the zoom on different sites.

    With the help of NoSquint:

    1. After installation of NoSquint, make sure you have the add-on bar displayed:

      • Click the new tab button ("+") or a box empty bar tab to the right of the item and choose the module bar on the shortcut menu.
    2. Click on the % in the bar of the add-on call site preferences, then click the global settings button, then the zoom tab.
      • You can experiment with sizes greater than 125%, but it is not recommended that you will more than 150%, unless you have a large screen high resolution.

If there are sites that are still a concern, feel free to post their URLs.

Please let us know if this helped you!

    Thank you.

I'm trying to access different websites that I've found only 12 hours ago, and I told myself I can not because of two issues of content - such as the proposed site porn my browser, either because the IP address is unclassifiable.
I checked to see if I had a bad Windows Update to explain this, and although there was an update to security 12 hours ago, it was listed as successful.
How can I access my sites again?

I discovered that the filter also affected my Kindle. I have contacted the ISP and discovered that they had made a mistake on their end. The problem is now resolved.

This area exists on all sites, that I'm on Firefox. If I switch to IE as my browser, I don't have the problem.

Recently, the Yahoo toolbar and the extension of Babylon have been reported because of this problem. They appear to overlap invisibly on the top of the display of the web page. If you have one or both, uninstall or disable them/it or see if an update is available that solves the problem.

IMO, if you have Windows XP or a newer version of Windows, not worth obsessed during defragmentation.

That said, I offer the following comments:

    • Files that start \System Volume Information\_restore {... are your system restore points.  If things are running OK and you do not anticipate the need to restore to an earlier time, disable System Restore (which will delete all system restore points) and then turn it back on again.  Or just run Disk Cleanup and use remove all but the last restore point.
    • The \WINDOWS\Temp\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\G7HWHKBP\iTunes[1].msi file looks like a file cache of remains of Internet Explorer 5.  In any case, it is a setup of iTunes and you can safely remove.  In general, you can safely remove all in C:\Windows\Temp
    • I guess you kept all of these files in e-mail Netscape 7 for some reason, but if they had just neglected when you moved from Netscape 7 for any email application you use today, you can remove these establishments.
    • The normal Windows Defragmenter cannot defragment various system files, including the page file and the MFT, which are quite highly fragmented in your system.  I think that for this reason there is not enough contiguous space on your hard disk to defragment most of the other files in the list even if you have more than 9 GB of free space.

To defragment the paging file, you can disable (or very small), restart and then set it to "system managed size".  To do this

    • Make a right click my computer and select Properties
    • Click on the "Settings" button in the box 'Performance '.
    • Click on the "Advanced" tab and the button 'Edit' under 'virtual memory '.
    • Click on "No paging file" and the "Set" key
    • OK your way out and restart
    • Defragmentation and then go back and put the pagefile "system managed size".

A better approach, however, would be to use (free) PageDefrag, which defragments non only the pagefile, but both the Windows registry files.

Microsoft has apparently made a utility that will defragment the MFT (on the restart), but you must call customer service to get it: http://support.microsoft.com/default.Aspx?scid=kb;en-us;320397 I used not this utility and cannot give you any information about it beyond what is in the Article.

Some commercial defragmenters defragment the MFT (on the restart).  If they have trial versions, trial versions may include this feature, but I don't know.

The MS Installer Cleanup Utility is available at http://majorgeeks.com/Windows_Installer_CleanUp_Utility_d4459.html , that it is a safe to download site from.  Based on warnings from Microsoft on the cleanup utility, however, you might well advised to make a backup disk image or at least a backup of the registry before using it.  C:\WINDOWS\ERUNT is an easy to use free registry backup tool.

I use a free AVG antivirus to analyze my laptop and always, he reports many locked files that cannot be verified. Most of them have the sign $ in front of their name, but I can't find them easily when I search for later, but they are mostly ordinary files that have been recently opened and closed. What are the locked files and can they be removed?

    Hello Omowright,

Thank you for posting.  This seems to be files that have been quarantined by moy.  This happens usually when your antivirus detects infected files and moves them to a waiting area where they can do no harm to your computer.  For more details on quarantine, I would say that you see the antivirus support site.

I am very new to dream. I created a simple site that worked very well. I tried SEO booster and was checking on things different (for example Goigle webmaster). I don't know exactly what I did, but now when I type in my site it tells me that the page cannot be opened because it was redirected too many times...? Help, please!

Let me add some details to the choice in the scenarios you have for the use of domains.

The areas are to simplify all kinds of activities on the Internet for users. Instead of addressing your email to go to the software from e-mail server to a computer with the IP 113.78.59.238 number, users can simply run their mail to "hannah" @ "gmail.com" or go to the website to "gildedgraces.com". This makes things a lot easier for users, but requires a little more difficult techniques backstage, because Internet computers connected and hardware (servers, tablets, phones, refrigerators) have only single numbers, not names. So, how internet needs to know which computer manages all emails for "@gildedgraces.com", and where physically this site 'www.gildedgraces.com '? This is where the "Domain Name Servers" kick in. They maintain long lists of these domain names, with references to the IP numbers correct and up-to-date. In this way, technicians can also easily Exchange computers, servers, connections, where a site is moved to another host, or when a server suddenly collapses. These things will happen, things have to change. They want to update certain IP numbers in the list on the DNS servers. I have it?

So in order to get a Web site running, you know where your domain registry database is guarded and kept safe, and where your Web site is physically located.

Note the difference between DNS (or servers) and the service (or Web servers) throughout all the instructions and documentation.

Now, have a look at this PDF that was returned by Brad, in his response above.

The domain name can be registered at any domain provider and the registry itself is not always need to reside there. You could relegate (you might say "move" or move) the registry for the DNS to another provider (like BC) service. In such a scenario, he must tell the provider holding the credentials of your registry, to redelegate it in British Colombia. That's what the article 4 in the PDF file. And of course, BC DNS service can internally so all applications for this field to their own web server.

You can also choose to keep your current domain provider maintains the registry, but that their DNS servers before any request of this area on the web servers of British Colombia, where your site is published. This is typically a necessity for registrations from non-American, since many extensions of national domains (such as .nl and .de) can be recorded by suppliers outside of this nation. So the registry simply cannot be moved to an American company (it's a legal thing). In such a situation, article 6 of the PDF comes into play, describing what BC would normally internally: to the domains of the physical location of the Web site.
