Size of files Windows 7 Digital River download

I bought the student version of Win 7 Home Premium 32-bit for the download of Digital River.  The size of the file. EXE and. ISO files are the two 347KO, rather than between 2 and 3 GB.

Can someone tell me what are these files (or are they invalid install files), or if these files are in fact for the real Win 7 download managers install the files?

(FAQ of digital River means the files listed as "install files" for the Win 7 software, which may not be possible in my opinion!)

Having problems with my copy of OEM Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Downloaded from Digital River and installation plan using my OEM license. My question is how many drivers I will have to find to install this? Thank you.

In order to install Windows 7?

If you want to make it work completely (after initial installation) and as well as possible (the most recent version of the hardware drivers) - that depends on the number of devices you have.

If you mean for a minimum feature - chances are none - he will probably get the initial installation without any additional driver.  There may be several devices that don't work and more work "at least" as they can use generic drivers.

Motherboard chipset, network devices, video, Audio devices or devices and other components (such as TV cards, bluetooth, etc.) and devices (scanners, printers, card readers, etc.)

  • Digital River downloads do not work

    Hello.

Official download any ISO from Digital River do not work. Is there any other place where I can get a copy of DVD for my legally purchased Winows 7?

Please advise or tell these guys to fix it. Apparently, from what I've seen here, they have problems for a long time.

And no, it's not my connection. I tried several places, several computers.

    Thank you.

To the best of my knowledge Microsoft has or had a contract with Digital River to provide the services of download that have to be renewed periodically.

It seems that Microsoft has chosen not to renew the contract at the moment and it is likely that they may not in the future (IMO) like Microsoft for the first time installed this new recovery software for Windows 7 page.

If you have a friend with a version of "Retail" from the installation DVD (should be the same as your key was for: Home Premium, professional or Ultimate) it will work with your OEM key.

  • Why Windows 7 SP1 Digital River download links do not work?

This morning, I tried to download a copy of Windows 7 SP1 Ultimate and it shows me:

The Page or file you requested cannot be provided

The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.
Error HTTP 404 - file or directory not found.

    What should I do now?

    Hello

The only legal Windows 7 download available is now Microsoft, as Microsoft has stopped DigitalRiver Windows 7 ISO downloads.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/en-us/software-recovery

But Microsoft only provides these downloads for Windows 7 keys to selling product at retail, not preinstalled OEM product keys (Dell, HP, etc.).

If you have a Windows 7 license detail and are having trouble at the above Web site, contact Microsoft using the Support option.

If you have Windows 7 preinstalled OEM (Dell, HP, Acer, etc.) Contact the manufacturer of your computer for the recovery disks.

They need to ship at low cost.

    See you soon.

  • Digital River Windows 7 downloads don't DO NOT WORK

Last week my hard drive failed. The data were sunk and I had to buy a new hard drive. I thought it was no big deal, because I still have my product key, but I can't find anywhere installation disc. I looked in my entire House.

    I went to:

    http://MSFT.digitalrivercontent.NET/win/X17-59186.ISO

To download the ISO of Win7 professional to burn a disc to install again, but instead of download, it took me:

    http://microsofthup.com/hupus/Error404.html

And no other connection of digitalriver does not work either.

Where can I download the ISO?

For 5 years, Microsoft made it fairly easy for users of the Windows 7 operating system to get reinstall media. If you have lost your support disc or installation retail collection; either it has been damaged or defective; You can download a copy of the edition that you have licensed from a membership site called Digital River. More recently, Microsoft ended the availability to reinstall media that you can download as a. File ISO in Digital River, which is a digital reproduction of an optical disc.

It was particularly convenient for people who could not easily get the manufacturer's recovery media, did not want to pay the fees required to get or preferred a clean configuration without the software packaged manufacturers or even a recovery partition does not work. It's easy to use, all you had to do was reinstall and reactivate using the product key located on the certificate of authenticity and download all the drivers on the manufacturers website.

Given that this option is no longer available, what are your options? See the article for more details:

  • Download illegal links Digital River for use by individuals is not taking part in the promotion?

I noticed the spread on some sites of tech direct download links for Windows 7, for large ISO files hosted by Digital River.  It turns out that the links seem to be only for the use of students who bought under some promotion through the Microsoft Bank before January 3, 2010.

So my question is, if someone comes today, not as part of this promotion and use these links, is it legal?  Or it is a violation of the copyright of Microsoft?  It seems to me that download concerts thousands or millions of times since a server will involve costs that Microsoft and Digital River did not intend.

I know that the downloaded Windows copies would have to be activated.  This isn't the issue.  Thanks for any input.

ETA: Links are not provided with the permission of Microsoft, neither are downloads in accordance with the terms of the Microsoft license agreement. In fact on the site Web of Digital River users qualified (i.e. students who have purchased on the site of Microsoft during a qualifying period) are intended to contact customer support directly to get the download links. the fact that one or more of them must have passed the links the long will not change the fact that the unqualified use of the links is not allowed.

  • Digital River shot... Is Microsoft sue me to provide other means of distribution?

I noticed yesterday that MS pulled from Digital River, the site to download the ISO files legal. Fortunately, I had all the files downloaded ISO English meadow.  Basically, I want to know if it is legal for me to share / post ways to access the ISO files, or your legal team smash me as a mouse under a hammer?

I was more trying to get permission from MS, I thought it was just how they distribute the files... digital river was obliged to pay for the hosting of the files? There is no point asking my own lawyer, I need a go come from ms to show different forum administrators that I have permission to host them. I have an opinion I can get away with it.

EDIT: looks like that they brought back, so just a joke, I don't have to / want to distribute more. Thank you.
  • Reinstall Win7 with Digital River iso and upgrade license?

I have a dell computer shipped with XP. A few years ago, I upgraded to win7 by buying a license to upgrade through the microsoft store.

They gave me the download link no longer works. I downloaded the full win7 Professional x 86 version of digital river, but I don't know if it will work.

Can I format my hard drive and reinstall win7 using the iso Digital River, my win7 upgrade license key and my xp license key?

As long as you have a license (product key) for Windows 7 Professional, Digital River download will work.

However, the requirements for the media upgrade is that you have an operating system already eligible such as Windows XP or Vista installed to use it. Since the Windows 7 end user license agreement.

15 UPDATES. To use upgrade software, you must first be licensed for the software that is eligible for the upgrade. After the upgrade, this agreement takes the place of the agreement for the software that you upgraded. After upgrade, you can no longer use the software that you upgraded.

So, if you are always denied, you will just have to reinstall Windows XP or Vista and let it do the verification of eligibility.

  • Windows 7 ISO (from Digital River) will not completely download

I made the mistake of buying Windows 7 from Digital River.  I got nothing else problems, and their "customer service" has absolutely no value.  Here's my last problem:

They finally made an ISO of Windows 7 available for download file.  ISO has been necessary because the Windows 7 Installer, they provided for the 64-bit version wouldn't work on a 32-bit version of Windows Vista.  The ISO has been provided to solve this problem.

In any case, I tried to download the ISO literally dozens of times.  Everytime I try, it stops at an arbitrary location in the download, as Mo 600 or 800 MB or, more recently, 16 MB and told me that it is complete.  This is supposed to be a 3 GB file.  I even followed the link on my MacBook and tried to download is here to make sure that my PC was not the problem.  It didn't download completely on the MacBook either.

Does anyone else have this problem?  I'm sick to death of having problems with Windows 7.  I would be very happy any help you could give me.

I am currently running Windows Vista 32-bit.

    Thank you.

Keep up with her.  I had downloaded about five or six times before that I'm a good download.  For those who have problems, I found that Nero would burn the .iso file, regardless of whether it is complete or not, but the burning DVD/USB tool told me that the .iso file is bad (when he was bad, of course).  But it took me several attempts to do this know.

Surprise yesterday: I received a package from Microsoft with a DVD inside... Ah, Wndows 7... 32-bit, no less.  I've never seen such a mess screwed up in my life.
