Skin allergy by Apple Watch

I have a 42 minutes of Sport gold Rose with blue Sport Group and within 48 hours of warning had strong itching on the wrist to the area where the 'lock' metal touches the skin. This itch soon became a full eruption of rash and bleeding. After contacting the apple support, they asked a lot of questions to provide information to their engineers and asked me to stop wearing the watch. Within 48 hours to stop wearing the watch my rash subsided and finally healed. It is obvious that the metal in the sport Strip causes an allergic reaction. I need a resolution as soon as POSSIBLE for this issue.

    Hello

    With wrist detection and active access code, make sure you wear your watch sufficiently well adjusted. If it is worn without too much shake, your watch may believe that he had been removed from your wrist, leading to this lock automatically:

    Performance of the sensor can also be affected by temporary or permanent changes on your skin, such as certain wrist tattoos.

  • Apple Watch wrist pain

    I bought my Apple Watch mid July 2016 and thereafter wear a few weeks noticed that my wrist was really painful. I went to my other wrist and had the same problem.  I decided to store the watch for a few weeks and my wrist has been hurt, and when I tried the same new problem of watch.  Needless to say, I'm really disappointed as I really like the watch.  Any suggestions as to why this is happening or how to stop it?

    Hello

    If you feel irritation or an unpleasant feeling on the skin around or under your watch, Apple recommends that you remove your watch and see a doctor / physician before wearing again.

    Discomfort or skin reactions may be the result of various causes, including:

    • Allergies (such as nickel);
    • Prolonged exposure to irritants (e.g., SOAP or the sweat);
    • Environmental factors;
    • Wear the tape too tight or too loose.

    Hello

    Check your settings.

    • On your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go to: My Watch (tab) > General > enable the detection of wrist.
    • On your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go to: Watch My > General > screen Wake > turn the Wake screen on wrist lift.

    Also, make sure you wear your watch sufficiently well adjusted. If worn too loosely, your watch may believe that he had been removed from your wrist. With access code also allowed, it would then automatically locks. Performance of the sensor can also be affected by temporary changes or permanent on your skin, such as certain wrist tattoos.

    If you have not already done so, it can help to upgrade your iPhone and look at the latest version of the software, from your iPhone:

  • Apple Watch hangs on the wrist

    Why my Apple Watch (42mm, series #FH of Sport * 9J6, 6.1 GB, Version 2.2.2 [13V604]) to lock up constantly when he is on my wrist, I have to re - enter the password several times. For this reason, I don't get notifications and heart rate is not taken. My Apple Watch is less than one year. I tried the clamping Strip and moving closer to the wristbone. I tried to put pressure on the back.

    I tried to disable the access code to the watch and it will not allow that. He says several times that I have to enter a new password.

    Hello

    So that the wrist detection works correctly, it should certainly not necessary to wear your watch too tight. For best results of this and other features, on the back of your watch must be in contact with your skin. The right fit must be neither too tight nor too loose, with room for your skin to breathe:

    The sensor performance may be affected by the changes as some wrist tattoos permanent or temporary skin.

    Otherwise, the following steps may help:

    • Make sure the wrist detection is open: on your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go to: Watch My > General > detection of wrist.

    If the problem persists, I suggest you contact Apple Support (mail service may be available) or make a booking Genius Bar in order to have your watch checked and, if necessary, repair under warranty:

  • Problem with applications of discount shaped on Apple Watch my daughter

    Not too long ago, my daughter won a Apple Watch of our local orthodontist. This is a fun gift for the do - http://miamiorthodontist.com/miami-invisalign-provider-february-2016-contest-win ner /

    Anyway, she has problem with applications to fitness form/heart rate on his Apple Watch. Could it be because she wears it too tight or too loose on her wrist?

    Hello

    Yes - your daughter might be affected by problems due to wear his watch with a bad fit.

    For best results when the monitoring exercise, it is important that the watch to fit comfortably against the top of his wrist. To help with this, Apple suggests that users clamping shows before workouts and he release again thereafter.

    General daily wear, for best results of functions which the detection of the wrist, the Taptic engine and the heart rate sensor, the back of his see also needs to be in contact with his skin. Wear it with the right person (neither too tight nor too loose, with room for his skin to breathe) should be comfortable enough, allowing the sensors work correctly:

  • Question about the Apple Watch and tattoos

    I think buy a Apple Watch very soon.

    I have a full sleeve (which is where I would like to wear the watch) and I wonder if it will cause problems with readings with the heart monitor since I want to use the Apple Watch for fitness training, mainly.

    I read on the page of the heart rate for the saying of Apple Watch:

    "Permanent or temporary changes to your skin, such as some tattoos, can also impact performance heart rate sensor. Ink, model and the saturation of some tattoos can block light from the sensor, making it difficult to get reliable readings. »

    There are other problems in addition to playback of heart rate on the Apple Watch for inked people that may know you?

    Thanks for your comments just to decide if this watch will really be for me before making this purchase, because I missed one for some time.

    If you are looking for, there was a very long discussion about this in the past, only shortly after the release of the Apple Watch. What I've read, it seems that the heart rate monitor is the only victim when it comes to the watch, since this is the only thing that requires the sensors to work through ink. Not all inks makes a difference, but most don't. The activity of exercise/app also uses the heart rate monitor to determine the rate for the year. You can take the time to go to the nearest Apple Store and try on the Apple Watch and see if the monitor works with your sleeve.

  • Red brand and burning sensation on the wrist band sport - Apple Watch

    After all 3-4 months to have Apple Watch and wear while exercising, I have developed a small red mark and burning inside the wrist. Anyone with problems and tips on how to combat this similar problem. Do not wear the watch is not an option for me.

    Hi Billie

    If you experience a rash, swelling, itching or irritation any discomfort on your skin around or under your watch, Apple recommends that you remove your watch and see a doctor / physician before wearing again. Skin reactions may be the result of various causes including:

    • Allergies (such as nickel):
      • Parts of some bands of Apple Watch stainless and magnets strips contain some nickel.
    • Prolonged exposure to irritants (e.g., SOAP or the sweat);
    • Environmental factors;
    • Wear the tape too tight or too loose (for example causing friction).

    Irritants can do skin reactions more likely if found between the watch and/or tape and your skin. Keeping your watch, strip and clean, dry skin can maximize comfort and prevent damage in the long term of the watch. It is particularly important to do after workouts or exposure to liquids that can cause irritations of the skin.
