  Just got a new iPad Pro, put in place without cloud or sync to my Macbook Pro.  Left for a few weeks, and then forgot the password.  Got locked out, so I put in recovery mode, hanging on my Macbook, had an older version of iTunes.  Pop up says that an iPhone is detected in recovery mode, and you want to update/restore?  Update is grayed out, click on restore and I get the prompt "software for the iPhone is not currently available." Look for updates in iTunes. "So I updated my iTunes to the newest version, restarted my computer, tried again.  Still get the same prompt.  Check the updates, but he says that my version is the latest.

  No, you would need a Surface Pro. Photoshop is only available for Windows or OSX.  iOS cannot run applications like Photoshop.

  There are apps for the iPad can do basic image editing.  Adobe has companion iOS apps that will be compatible with Photoshop and useful for Photoshop users who use Photoshop on Mac and PC.

  You can consider an iPad pro as a tool of Photoshop cheap laptop that can produce content to be used with Photoshop.  There is also Lightroom for the iPad.

  An iPad can be very useful it simply not able to run Photoshop.

  At present, the only pen in versions of Pro iPad sketch of Adobe and Adobe Draw is Apple pencil. Third pens still work on older/other iPads.

  I have the smaller iPad Pro, key onboard and transcend usb. I work a lot overseas and I'm Editor. I have all my work files on usb transcend that I use in my PC in my office. From the PC I can change all of the files stored on the usb transcend and re-record - it's the simaple. Now here I am away from the office and want to be able to do the same thing on th iPad. This seems to be far from simple.

  I've resorted to sending the images separately by e-mail, but my designers like files to send in lots of 5 - normally I use wetransfer, but this option doen't appear to be available directly from the usb. Can someone hel please?

  I'm starting to think that I should have saved money and bought a small tablet of Windows!

  Your question seems to dive in the 'how' I make things (for example, using USB, which does not exist on an iPad).  Like the people you work with don't use Apple hardware, I suggest you reorient your thinking to 'what' to do (for example, transfer [something, perhaps of the images and/or files] to my creators).

  This can be true and doesn't really matter since the iPad has a lightning connector and not a USB port.  However, the App Store verification reveals that in fact there is an app available for the iPad wetransfer (at least in the United States):

  If one of your colleagues have Apple gear, there are easier ways to transfer work.  There are also plans to improve the iWork (Pages, Numbers, Keynote) applications that run on your iPad to enable real-time collaboration.  These plans have been announced to Apple product announcement on 7 September.  In my opinion, that they would even offered to owners of non-Apple products that use iCloud.

  I want from my iPad Pro laser-printing on a printer wireless to work. My corporate network, however, is not configured to allow wireless printing; I have to work around the network with a direct wireless printing. I know that a lot of printers don't support not this, but everyone I've studied requires a third-party printing application. I'm sure that it will work very well, but I don't trust the manufacturers of printers to continue to support these applications.

  Thanks for checking out the communities Support from Apple. I understand that you are having problems with the sound in your iPad Pro not coming through your speakers and only through headphones. I use my iPad all the time to watch movies, so I can understand how it is important to have the sound working properly.

  Since you've already tried some troubleshooting to get your sound work, I want to assure you that you have tried the steps listed here:

  If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch speaker - Apple Support

  If you have gone through these steps, the next step to try would be to reset all the settings on your iPad. If you have already tried this step, then you can skip to the next part. To reset your settings, you go into settings > general > reset > reset all settings. This does not erase any of your data (photos, contacts, data app), but you will need to set up some default settings again as your sounds, funds of screen, Touch ID & password, Apple payroll, restrictions, iMessage, etc.. You will need to also connect to your Wi - Fi network, so make sure you have your Wi - Fi password available.

  After the reset of all parameters, you can try to backup and restore your iPad via iTunes if you are still having problems. This will let you know if there is a problem with the hardware or software. After you restore the iPad, you'll want to set up the iPad as a new device and test it before restoring your backup (temporarily). You can find the steps for the backup and restoration below.

  Are there specific functions or tasks that cannot be performed on an iPad Pro, which can be done on the MBP?

  When it comes to streaming music (Spotify) and video (Youtube, Netflix, Amazon, BBC iplayer etc), will all these without downloading additional software, Flash drives or iOS apps for the iPad?

  Most OS X applications with versions of iOS will have reduced functionality located in iOS (for example. (Pages, Numbers, MS Office applications).  iOS is now supported split screen for some applications (not all), but it offers no true multitasking. iOS supports NO FLASH - never has and probably never will be.  Some 3rd party browsers or proxy subscription services offer alternatives to that, but it's not exactly a replacement for FLASH native.  It's the same for Java applications.

  iOS is not addressable accessible file system or cross-app of the user, as OS X.  iOS apps are sandboxed to sand and largely unable to interact with eachother or every-other data.

  Honestly, even though I love my iPad Pro and use every day for staff and job tasks, it is NOT a true replacement for a desktop computer / laptop.  If your use is very specifically limited to certain iOS apps or certain types of applications that are very conducive to a tablet OS, you should be fine with just an iPad, but if not, you will find you want always a laptop or desktop computer, at least for certain tasks or the types of applications.

  Please also note, that iOS devices, like any electronic mass storage, must be saved if you care about your data at all.  Without a computer, your only backup option is to iCloud online backups.  Solutions available iCloud for photography, however, NO do not replace true or complete for archiving your photos elsewhere for guard - should photo be archived elsewhere (computer, another Cloud Computing service) regardless of your choice of iCloud photo service (s).  A computer is a perfect solution for a backup of redundant iOS device using iTunes and iCloud for backups.  A computer is also required to restore an iOS device in the case of a corrupt system, update, install or some other potential recoverable occsionally disaster.

After that iTunes install 12.4.0.119 and the next sync iPad 2 iOS 9.3.2,and half of my large number of songs in each playlist are grayed out and indicate 'Not available Element' when selected.  The songs exist and play in the sync playlists iTunes version.  I deleted all the music on my iPad and resynced with the same results.  All the songs in iTunes are MP3s.  I don't use icloud for backup.  None of the music is purchased.  The problem appeared after update of iTunes for Windows.

  As you know the texts SMS are sent on the portion of cellular signal and are conveyed by the mobile phone service provider. The fact that it affects your phone calls and other messages on other devices - makes me want to suggest that you can be better to talk about this with your carrier
