  If a user leaves his workstation unattended for a certain period of time, the Apex application disconnects automatically from the server.  The user is not warned about this and if they attempt to save some data on the current page, they don't realize that their data was not recorded until they click on the "Save" button.  At this point, the values of page element empty out and they realize that their data has not been saved.  It is the current page allows many lines to affix and the user can waste a lot of time entering data which will fall into the compartment bits.

  What APEX version do you use?

  I don't know what exactly is the cause of the problem, but if you leave Skype without logging, and then the next time you start Skype, you should be automatically logged in to your account. Of course, this requires that the option: "open my session at the start of Skype" is sellected.

  Open windows control panel, open personalization, click on the link on the bottom right and in the next window, screen saver set time "Wait" to a more acceptable figure and Remove the tick in the box next to "in curriculum vitae, the logon screen.  Click on apply, then Ok to save the setting.

  I try again to connect to Skype - instant logout.

  I uninstalled Skype and reinstalled then - another attempt to log - moment close the session.

  I managed to take this picture of my Skype - it does this weird thing where it shows my current username and will then go to the other details just before it goes back to the login screen, picture here:

  

  It is certainly not a problem with my devices. I tried not to make another account I can not apparently use my email even but make a different user name to connect with (what gives?), so there is just underway.

  I checked the other desktop computer we have in our House, Skype works fine. Provided that this is another account.

  You have any ideas how I can address the issue? I'm not really looking forward to try to recover all my contacts from my old account and try to migrate on another new account.

  Don't sign of Skype. Right-click on the Skype icon in the system tray and select Exit. This will stop Skype running on your computer.

  You have the 'special' 6.18.64.106 version with modified GUI. The automatic file backup option was introduced in this version. You can disable this option.
