  If anyone has a premium account, does that mean they're covered when it comes to using Skype Wifi? Or would they need to add more credits on their account?

  I went to my beloved coffee today. Evertime I connect to the hotspot WiFi Skype popup appears. Normally I close and connect even if the portal that gives you a 1 FREE Internet time. Today, I clicked on connect by mistake.

  Given that it was a mistake, I immediately started looking for how to disconnect. No luck!.

  I turned off wifi, I closed the laptop, I left Skype. Nothing hapenned.

  After 30 minutes, a load of 4.2Euros appeared on my account 29: 58 minutes of wifi!

  Is there any time the connection minimum 29:58:00 documented anywhere in the site of Skype wifi?

  If anyone from Skype is reading this forum, I would like to know what is the meaning of "you pay for what you use" that is advertised for this service. The correct one should be "you pay what we decide to charge you."

• Skype WiFi - a tool of access only. Not to be confused with WiFi providers. It is not the case.

  Skype WiFi does, is provide a way to pay for access to the internet; rather than enter a credit card number in a public place.

  You use your Skype credit to pay the costs of access and only for the minutes you need rather than having to buy a day pass or block of time.

  It is only a tool of access. Not a wifi like Boingo or cloud provider.

  This is the main purpose of Skype WiFi.

  I searched all morning [June 10, 2014] and I tried 3 phones, different accounts and all I can find is Skype WiFi.

  Deleted Windows temporary files
  TLS 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2 are checked
  After 3 updates, now I have the latest version of Skype installed
  Skype WiFi says that I'M connected to the internet
  I can see yahoo.com w / IE no problem
  Deactivation of ESET does make a difference

• Cannot make calls to the cell, only Skype

  Everytime I try to dial a number, Skype appears as the default. I could not find the settings to change the phone back on to cell, seems that Skype just took over the phone. For crying out loud on cell phone I had to uninstall Skype. Help! I want Skype WiFi finally.

• internet iPad does not

  Recently, I downloaded an app called Skype Wifi. After having proved to be useless, I deleted it on my iPad. However, now my Internet connection is completely ruined. First of all, whenever the list of networks pop - up, one of the results is always "Xfinity Wifi Skype". Second of all, any network I connect to, nothing works. Some pages on Safari work, like these forums, but most of the sites in Safari, and each unique application that uses Wifi does not work. I can connect to Wifi and I have three bars, and nothing loads. I can't re-download Skype Wifi and disable something if this is the problem because my Wifi does not work and repeat me loading App Store. I seriously need to fix this problem. All my school assignments are available online and most of my applications generally require working Wifi. It cannot be Aproblematique with my Wifi on my phone and computer work. Whatever the reason, Skype Wifi messed up my iPad and I seriously need help with fixing.

  Try the settings > general > reset > reset network settings. Who clears all the network settings on the device and you must attach all of your WiFi networks again. You will need to enter the passwords again for all these networks.
