• How can I make several quiz with their own slides of results within a project of 7 Captivate?

  7 to Captivate a project I want to create multiple quizzes with their own results slide.

  Currently I have 5 Quiz that all are related to 1 result slide.

  Is there a way to give each set of questions their own slide of results?

  (I saw an answer to a similar question for Captivate 5 of 2012, but I could very much use out and I thought there was an easier way in Captivate 7).

  You can use an interactive object (button, click box, form) and the command 'Open URL of file' and point to the cptx file. It is important that you keep all the files in the same folder and the path to the parent of the file. Publication, same scenario: keep everything in the same folder when downloading. CP stands to be linked SWF.

• Quiz stuck somethimes. no slide of results; CP does not message

  I use 9 in captivity on a machine Windows 10 with 16 GB of RAM. I'm working on project Captivate contains 55 slides 8 slides are questions of 'knowledge' (unmarked) and 10 blades blades (marked) multiple choice selected randomly from a pool of quiz. For some reason, when the outline of the project, the quiz often, but not always (!), gets stuck to slide 4 or 5 and will move beyond this point. The quiz is controlled by a submit all"" button. There is a button 'back' but not 'jump', 'clear', or submit buttons. The time that the quiz is successfully all 10 questions, the results page does not appear.

  I asked cache because you mentioned CP does not message. You can also try to delete preferences, run the CleanPreferences file for your operating system that you find in the Utils subdirectory under the installation folder.

  Check the version number: after you install the hotfix, it is 9.0.0.230.

  It's a big job to remove the offending questionnaire slides and recreate them? It's been a while since I used submit all have. What happens when you take it out (just to try) and use the buttons send normal? What is the required parameter for the Quiz?

• Why are displayed in preview mode, but not to publish the text slide Quiz results?

• Quiz results slide - NaN errors in published Captivate 8 content

  Hello

  I worked on a number of modules with different content in each, which have a short quiz at the end. All except a beautiful work and the quiz results slide displayed correctly the 'score' and 'max' accordingly.

  However, I have a module with an erroneous result reported "0" out of "NaN" and I don't know why it appeared suddenly?

  I have been a model for these modules (even if it is true that it has been outsourced - they should always use the same model)

  I don't see any obvious difference in the parameters or results between this slide and the other modules - so I'm stuck!

  I was wondering if something had gone wrong with the slide therefore results as a test, I copied all the slides except the quiz in a separate model that has worked very well, and then updated the quiz and slides re-edited, still had the same error. This leads me to suspect the content slides are part of the problem. There are some real questions in the content slides / false, which are defined as a "pre-test" type - could these affect something?

  I am using Captivate 8.0.3.290 and I checked the result published scorm cloud and our Moodle LMS - same erroneous result.

  It is difficult to know what is the problem with this model. I highly doubt that the presence of pre-test slides is the cause. It is perfectly possible to have a pre-test and a Final Quiz in a project. To exclude this possibility: try to create a small project with a test question and a real Question slide, using this same model.  Follow the system variable. What is the result?

  You know if this model was created initially to CP8 or is this a version update of a model?

  I never delete the review area, although it is used in two circumstances:

  1. For the message of pass/fail on the Score slide
  2. When a question has been ignored (I always feel that issues are considered to be ignored).

• Re-insert the 8 Captivate quiz results slide

  I created a course of six modules, which all have a short quiz at the end. During the preview of the project with the project manager, quiz slides do not move forward in the preview of the course (and no more than the bar room). I had to go and remove the quiz slides and slides of results in order to highlight the entire course of my manager.

  Now that I'm trying to work on game shows, I am able to insert question slides but not the results slides that I would appear at the end of each short quiz.  This could be a framework global quiz I should change? Is there a way I can reset the quiz in the course and start from the beginning (with slides of results displayed)?

  I realize it's probably 101 stuff for everything that you users of Captivate veterans, but please bear with me... I am a newbie to Captivate.

  I am little confused: you can have only a single slide quiz and 01:20 in a CP-file (requirement of SCORM) and you seem to talk about several slides of results?  That should mean that you have created custom intermediate score slides as I explained here: Intermediate Score slides - Captivate blog

  Or each module in a separate cptx file? The slide of score will not be deleted at all, it's just hidden. You can make it visible again using preferences, settings, "Score at the end of the Quiz Show" Quiz

  Regarding the reset of the questions that is possible using the recovery button. Return to the user will be sent to the first slide question or being marked. This means that you will have to provide more than 1 attempt on Quiz level. More information about the slide in question/score:

• CP5: Rating and Quiz result slides for selected Questions

  I am trying to create a course that has several "knowledge checks" that need not be striped or track, then a 10 question at the end quiz that must be marked and tracked.

  Someone does know of a way to separate these two elements so that the slide Quiz results do not cover my data 'check knowledge' and gives just the details of the user of the 10 question quiz? I would also use the progress bar, but only for the last 10 questions.

  Moreover, if the result of the quiz screen separated the results of controls knowledge quiz, which would work as well.

  If you are using the Question slides that come with Captivate, all slides will be added to the total score because you can have than a Quiz in a CP-file.

  Some ideas: you can assign to the partition of the first (not to follow) slides to 0, or if possible change issues marked the investigation (no is not marked).

  If by progress, you mean the indication ' Question X of Y ", there, you'll need to do your own counters, with variables user and advanced actions. If you want to have total control of your question slides, that you can create the first group issues yourself and use only default to the last real Quiz Question slides. • Cap 3 skips results Slide + button rules

  Disclaimer: I took screenshots and compared the settings between versions 2.0 and 3.0 of my quiz. Forum search revealed that no help on ignored slides slipped then there will...
  
  Quiz created in Cap 2.0 yet this function. Open my quiz template main heading 3.0 and it allowed to be updated to 3.0. (all my 2.0 versions of this quiz are gone; see elsewhere in the forums for my warning on the save option slot in Cap 3.0)
  
  My draft questionnaire has 17 questions (info 1 brings together students and 16 are the subject), then it goes to a slide in results with the stats and the following buttons: Review Quiz, send the results by email, this means of egress. It is followed by the last slide with a congratulatory message and a Quit"button on the main Menu. End option is to stop.
  
  #1 QUESTION when I publish the 3.0 file, as usual, it loads and quiz may be taken, BUT it IGNORES the results (2nd to last) slide?
  
  NUMBER #2 if I try to add the button "Exit menu" to the last slide, Cap 3.0 will NOT longer be the last slide. Any attempt to drag it to the position of the last slide is futile. Remove the "Exit from the main Menu" button and then it is OK.

  #1 issue seems to be caused by the display time of slide results mysteriously put a.1? second indicted) Wow, that was so short only by slide the progress bar would not display, so I thought it was be skipped.

  But if the slide requires a response, you wouldn't think it would display anyway? Probably should be at least a second set or something. Sheesh.

  Question #2 Slide forced to change - properties of the button - order found a reports tab with an Include in Quiz box checked. It's so why he kept shoving this slide back in front of the slide of results instead of allowing it to the end.

• Help! Lesson with 2 branches of locking on the Quiz results screen when the learner (branch or another) fails.

  I have a lesson CP6, which is essentially two parallel branches, with only the following slides in common:

  • A slide 'welcome. '
  • A slide where the learner chooses its branch
  • A "Congratulations!"  "Slide you completed the test.
  • A slide "you not answered the questions correctly.

  Once the learner chooses its branch, it is given a 5 question test.   If he fails the exam, he is taken to a short lesson, specific to the content tested in this branch.   When he finished the lesson, he is returned to the test to try again.  If it fails, come back to the lesson, then back to the review, etc.  until it passes.  (I put max '10' under 'Préférences Quiz' tent)   When he passes, he is taken to the "Congratulations" slide and the end of the lesson.

  I put the last question in each branch to go to slide Quiz results (success or failure), and I put the Quiz preferences to access the slide of "Congratulations" so passing and for the "you not answered the questions correctly" drag if the learner does not.

  That's how it is supposed to work anyway.  And that's how it worked until I made a change somewhere and he mucked things.

  What happens is instead:

  • Testing (both branches) learner outcomes Quiz and 'Congratulations' slide takes very well.
  • Lack of test (or another branch) brings the learner to Quiz results and then gets stuck there.    (In fact, if I click on the "Continue" button a second time on the QR slide, the lesson does not always advance but disappear all the graphics, that I put on this slide, which is weird and not at all useful.)

  Figured it out.  A "required" on the page "Quiz: settings" value "necessary Pass - the user must pass the quiz to continue."  Who kept the learner continued beyond the "results of the Quiz" slide and a loop to the didactic content and taking the quiz.

  I changed "Required" "Required – the user must take the quiz to continue."   The learner is able to loop back/reading/retest as many times as necessary in order to pass the test.  All right.

• Captivate 7 - several test results?

  Hi all

  I'm pretty new to Captivate, but use more Adobe CS for years.  I have trouble understanding how to do one or two things about the results of the quiz, and I was hoping someone might be able to help.  I have a 10 question quiz is worth 1 point each for a total of 10 points, and I slide before and after the test.  I am on Captivate 7 on Windows 7.  If all goes well, Miss me something obvious!  I defer to the greater knowledge of the forum and the users of power I see here!

  
  

  First of all, I would like the results slide to display different information according to pass or fail.  Also, I was expecting to set up the continue button to go back to slide 1 if the user fails the quiz.

  My first question, I did a little research and found this tutorial: using advanced Actions (CP5) to show the conclusion, based on several partitions

  I tried to add several legends and images, hiding a game to fail conditions and showing that the other defined in function pass and enter the advances in stocks to add the conditional script.  I put it to run to enter the slide of results, with captionPass and a green check mark set to display with a note of 7 or more, and captionFail, and a red X mark to show with a score under 7.  Unfortunately, I can't understand why he continues to display the legend and the images to spend conditions even when the quiz is down.

  Secondly, I would like to define conditional actions on the continue button so that it moves to the next slide on the pass and jumps back to slide 1 failure.  It doesn't seem like I'm able to change the default buttons added to the result slide, I'm able to add my own buttons or click on the boxes that would be my workaround.  Is there a possible way to achieve this functionality?

  All the help that a smarter person is willing to share with me would be much appreciated!  I have included my workspace screens, the quiz options and advanced actions.

  Hi all

  Well, I finally found my own solution.  I remembered that this post had not responded, so I thought I would provide some closure for me and anyone who is having a similar problem.

  Captivate 7 requires a significant amount of trial and error to track problems of this kind.  I literally had to use all the combinations of options and settings before you find what standing things upwards.  It was a combination of the conscious 'branch' parameter have a conflict with the option «resume quiz»

  I had to remove the test of recovery and on/off button each setting and each configuration test, I found that disabling the induction of branch resolved the problem.  This in turn allowed me to add a tip action on the screen after the result slide, which allowed me to return the user to slide 1 with reset questions.

  Not sure why it was so hard to track down.  I know I am a new user to the CP, but the parameters described were in my first few screenshots.  Logically, it tells me that everything in CP is not obvious to even the most advanced users.  This is not a flaw with the people using CP7, it's a flaw with CP7 itself in my opinion.  Too complicated with too much setting conflicts that are not easily recognized.  Well, sometimes you just got to keep hitting your problem until you create your own solution.

  Thanks to Ron and Lily to spend their time trying to help me, I really appreciate it.  I learned a lot about CP7.  But I hope for a little more off CP8, we will be upgrading soon.

  How you can display a value a user entered a "text box enter" stored in the Variable cpQuizInfoStudentName

  on the Quiz results slide?  I see that those here is of the "placeholders significant result" bit that I can not understand how to insert a new that could display this variable.  I think this right?
  

  Insert a text container on the slide of results (legend or form) and insert this variable by using the X key in accordion Format of the properties panel for the text container. The variable is displayed like this:

  Because you speak a TEB, I hope that you have replaced the variable (such as Text_Entry_Box_1) credits associated with this (same name as the BER itself) TEB with this system variable? You can use a button that appears next to this generic variable in the similar properties of the ETB X Panel.

• Same legend-hyperlink on several slides does not...

  It seems that my hyperlinks legend works only on the slide, on which they are enabled. By clicking on the link even on all other slides will result in nothing happens.

  Are there restrictions on the use of the hyperlink the legend even on several slides that can be the cause of my problem? I tried both adding the legend with the hyperlink to a slide master and by setting the legend with the hyperlink "show for the rest of the project" on the first slide. Same result.

  Also it makes no difference if the hyperlink is set to trigger a page Web (URL) or a document (pdf).

  The problem occurs while previewing in Captivate (6 and 7) and publication to a server and all of the following browsers: IE 10, Firefox, Crome and Safari.

  I just checked it on Cp6 and Cp7.  The issue seems to occur the Cp6 at my end (specifically Cp 6.1).

  Are you sure that it does in Cp7, because it worked for me?

• Knowledge check test slide for several controls of knowledge

  Hello

  I created a series of pools quesiton. I have 9 knowledge controls in my project which are questions from a pool of quesiton randon.

  At the end of each audit knowledge, I want to display a page of results of "quiz". When I select this option in Quiz preferences, it displays only a slide of result after the FINAL knowledge control.

  Is it possible to have a review after each audit knowledge?

  It will be not possible with normal question slides, because only the recovery feature clear responses and it will always be the whole of the quiz.

  If you want to use the question slides, because you find it too cumbersome to create custom question slides, for now I don't see a solution with multiple files of Captivate: each audit of knowledge must be a different file, where you can add the possibility of recovery. If you want to see all the results in the main file (who called knowledge small check files), you will need to use JavaScript or the widget Save & Load Data from Michael Lund (cpguru).
