Slider Windows screen black problem

Hello

Yesterday, I bought pc components to build a pc 0

Case: NOX Coolbay SX Devil

Power: Approx. APP650PS 650W

Motherboard: Gigabyte 970 a - DS3P AM3 + Socket

CPU: AMD - 6300 FX

Graphics card: AMD R7 Sapphire 250

RAM: Stock (Kingston 4GB DDR3)

HARD drive: Stock (Hitachi 500 GB SATA)

So I mounted everything and turned on and the motherboard logo appeared, but then a white cursor (_) appeared during 1 second and gone, after that it shows nothing, only a black screen (no signal display message) [proceedings], it does not show me the POST message, but when appears the logo of the MOBO you can hear the sound signal default 1 , I also tried to remove the RAM to force the error and see if the MOBO is dead, but it's not.

I already checked:

Monitor

Digital cable connectors

Video card

RAM

I removed the battery to reset the BIOS already.

I can enter the BIOS

I tried to boot W7 of USB but I couldn't, it ends with the same black screen (no white slider), I already tried to change the boot order (not tried CD/DVD but I don't think that this will change anything).

What could I do? :(

OK

so I solved the problem

This is the screen, because I tried with hdmi and it's fine, I used VGA, so maybe that was the problem, I just bought a new screen and now it is perfect ^^

But I would jump up to 8.1.

I was working on win 8.1 x 64 before, but I decided to downgrade due to a very annoying problem.

After the closing start system again that the screen was completely black (no cursor even), but I can hear that the system is running in the background. He helped bring my laptop for the sleep/hibernate and wake up again. Black screen does not appear if I use sleep/hibernate implementation, but only if turn off pc by shutdown system.

I have install the ati drivers for vista support page lenovo T60, avoiding "setup.exe" and ccc, only pure graphics driver, installed through properties of the graphics card.

Earn 8 x 64 this method works very well, the 8.1 looks the same, but then this problem with black screen appeared.

  • Windows 7 starts problems with black screen and the cursor because of power failure

I'm on a Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium OS. Start-up problems arose after the power failure (accidentally unplugged the charger, the battery was not in place) during a video call in Skype. Accessories attached to the laptop at the time were a Logitech Webcam, a dongle Bluetooth, microphone and headphones.

When starting my laptop Asus N81VP, he'll go as far as the 'Starting Windows' logo, then I meet a black screen with a mobile cursor. I don't then right click, CTRL + ALT + DELETE.

    I tried the things:

Start Up Repair = "cannot automatically repair."

System Restore = no available restore points

Windows Memory Diagnostic = at 100%, no screen of detected problems, then black with mobile cursor

Networking Mode Safe Mode/Safe = black screen with cursor mobile

Activate video low resolution (640 x 480) = black screen with cursor mobile

Good known Configuration = black screen with cursor mobile list

Start Windows normally = black screen with cursor mobile

Please help me. I've had this laptop for less than a year, and it would break my heart to have to re - format.

You seem to have exhausted most of the options available in such cases, except two:
D ' log in under a different account.
-To restore your registry files manually. See below for more details.

On your heart that could get broken: have you considered using the imaging facility that is integrated with Windows 7? You can find it in the control panel / backup and restore. This is somewhat marginal in the feature and it can be finicky, but it saved my butt several times.

You can restore your registry files manually to a previous point through the steps described below. The process is complex and requires some careful typing. Ask a computer-savvy friend to help you if you lack experience in this field. Note that it may reset your password to a previous value.
    1. keep tapping F8 during the first phase of startup.
    2. Select repair in the menu that looks like this:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/advanced-startup-options-including-safe-mode
3 log in as administrator if you are prompted.
    4. Select repair when prompted.
    5. Select the command line in the menu that looks like this:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/what-are-the-system-recovery-options-in-Windows-7
    6. identify the correct drive letter for your Windows installation. It could be one drive other than c, but it will not X:. You do this by typing commands
    DIR C:\Win*
    Dir D:\Win*
    dir E:\Win*
until you find the Windows folder.
    I'll call this "Q:" drive
    7 type these commands:
    CD /d Q:\windows\System32\config
    xcopy *. * Q:\MyRegBack\
    CD RegBack
    dir
    8. review the dates of the software, system, and SAM files. The files created before or after that is your problem?
    9. If they were made before the problem appeared, you can then type these commands:
    copy software / y...
    /y copy system...
    /y copy Sam...
(the two points are part of each order)
    10. restart normally. If things don't work then you can go back by copying files from the original register of Q:\MyRegBack to Q:\Windows\System32\config.

  • Windows 8 black screen and the cursor after the connection

Hello. I tried to upgrade to 8.1 Windows 8 Windows and it is stuck on like 3% for one hour, so I just rebooted the computer and he returned to Windows 8. I'm going to sleep and come back the next day and go on my laptop and it auto connects me and it goes to a black screen and I only have the slider on the black screen after login. I don't see the start menu, but I receive notifications for as sticky keys or any other notifications lights. I turned off my computer at least 20 times, took out the battery, empty the battery and tried to boot in safe mode with no luck. It is unlikely that it is an internal problem, because if I leave my computer alone for a few minutes, my screen saver photos appear. If anyone can help me solve this problem or help me get in easier safe mode would make things less stressful. I have an Acer Aspire V5 - 571 series. Thank you.

    Hi Roy,

This problem may occur because of corrupted on the computer boot files.

I suggest you to perform the checking and automatic repair if this solves the problem.

If you do not have a DVD of Windows 8, I suggest you check out the link to see how to create an installation of Windows 8 media:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows-8/create-reset-refresh-media

    Follow the methods suggested below:

    Method 1:

Start on the recovery environment using the installation of Windows 8 media.

    Follow the steps below:

Note: before proceeding further, make sure that the boot priority is set on DVD drive in BIOS. BIOS change / semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

    • Insert the DVD to install Windows 8 on DVD-ROM and restart your computer.
    • After you start your computer by using the Windows DVD or the system repair disc, a black screen is displayed with the gray text "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD". Press a button on any.
    • Select the type of keyboard and good time.
    • Click repair your computer in the lower left corner.
    • Select Troubleshooting in choose an option screen.
    • In Troubleshooting screen, click Advanced options .
    • Click the automatic repair of the Advanced Options screen.
    • Then choose the operating system.
    • Windows 8 will then pick up questions on the hard drive and check that all required files are intact.

If the problem persists, proceed to the next method.

    Method 2:

Follow these steps to perform a system restore:

    • After you start your computer by using the Windows DVD or the system repair disc, a black screen is displayed with the gray text "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD". Press a button on any.
    • Select the type of keyboard and good time.
    • Click repair your computer in the lower left corner.
    • Select Troubleshooting in choose an option screen.
    • In troubleshooting screen, click Advanced options .
    • Select System Restore.

If you haven't tried the "last known good configuration" among the Advanced startup options then do that first.  If this does not help, you must run the System File Checker to search for possible system problems.  Then, you must run the upgrade from the system tool and then see if you are able to run the SP2 update.   Mike - Engineer Support Microsoft Answers

    Hi Spencer,.

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused with Windows 7.

More details would help us to best help you.

    1. "diagnoses come back fine and there is no change in safe mode", you are faced with this problem to the in/login-login screen? don't you realize that the user accounts to the login screen?

    2. "periodically flashes black", are you able to get to the login screen or this problem occurs before the login screen?

3 did you do any change in software on the computer before this problem?

    4. What is the brand and model of your computer?

Unplug all external such as USB key, printer, and scanner etc., devices (except keyboard and mouse) connected to the computer and check if the computer boots to the screen.

  • WINDOWS 10 BLACK SCREEN

I need help! I just tried to install my free copy of windows 10 and after the installation process is complete, it is going to a black screen. I waited for an hour, but without success. I held my power button and back on my laptop but then it said roll back to a previous version of windows! IM on my pc to roll this ad supported. I think that Avast antivirus has something to do with it. Help, please!

Disable your AV software and perform a "clean boot" and then try to install Windows 10.

How to perform a clean boot in Windows:
Solve a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista, Windows 7 or 8
(Note: select your version of Windows to the correct set of instructions)
A clean boot is executed to start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This will eliminate software conflicts that occur when you start Windows, install a program or an update or when you run a program in Windows.

  • Screen resolution problems (Windows 10)

I downloaded the latest trial 9 Captivate for Windows 10 and screen resolution problems. Basically, making the software unusable. A lot of screens and dialog boxes seems larger than the current window, they are in, making the right and downstairs parts invisible window (usually, this is where the 'OK' and 'Cancel' buttons for example).

I'm Captivate on a laptop running 64-bit Windows 10 (Sony Vaio with an NVidia GT 640 M map graphic with the latest drivers)

Does anyone know how to fix this? Here are some examples:

    captivate1.PNG

    captivate2.PNG

    captivate4.PNG

    No retina.

What is the size of the police on? Win10, it is often larger than 100%, which is not really necessary for your resolution, but that's a retina display. I am using Captivate on Win10, but Surface Pro and laptop have a retina display.
