Small caps in common titles - mixed case problem

My head of the race is set in small capitals, and he picks up case joint text of the document. I want to head to be small caps "tiny" (or "capital", unless it really means ordinary hats) but can see no way to do this. Instead, I get "mixed case" small capitals, if it makes no sense. If I select the head on the master page and then type | Case of change, this has no effect on the appearance on the master or the heads generated. How to achieve uniform small capitals where the source text for the current title is get mixed? If .indd small attachments could I have an attached, but it rejected despite not being not not llisted as a type prohibited.

You must change the drive and choose tiny. Assign small capitals as the paragraph style to the variable, and you should be good to go.

  • Record archiveIDs with mixed case cause of playback problems

    A mixed case (lowercase + uppercase) for a recorded session archiveID has made me see my reading from zero seconds anywhere on the timeline, I'm "looking" recording.

    Record AND play sets an id of archive as such:

    x002F_ < more_lower_case_text_here > _player_s_17463_t_2011-08-17T11_05_00 - 04_00.zip <-note the capital letter "T" in the timestamp

    BUT the problems of theare 2,.

    1) in my webdav my recordings return cases (most come with all lowercase characters), as such:

    Screen shot 2011-08-17 at 11.21.02 AM.png

    2) (probably due to problem 1) during playback in SessionManagerPlayback.as::subscribeCollection (156-181 lines), there is code that is never executed:

    NB: in this case, we are mirrored the statement if low in FMS when recording the collectionName
    var collName:String = (archiveID)? archiveID + ' / ' + p_collectionName: p_collectionName;
    var seekTime:Number = currentTime-_offsetTable [collName];
    If (seekTime > PACING_INTERVAL) {}
    It is really a search!
    seekTime = seekTime/1000;

    Stream.client = new PlaybackSeekClient (seekTime, p_collectionName, onSeekComplete);
    Stream.Play (getStreamPath (p_collectionName), 0, seekTime, 3);
    monsuivi ("= subscribeCollection" + p_collectionName + "-seek and play" + seekTime);

    Where you see the "/ / this is really a search" is never executed because "collName" var returns a string "< more_lower_case_text_here > _player_s_17463_t_2011-08-17t11_05_00-04_00/AVManager" where the "upper case T" is now tiny too! which causes the "seekTime" to be "NaN" from the glance upward in _offsetTable [collName] does not refer a valid number.

    Anyone else seeing this? Anyone can reproduce this?

    Let me know if you need more information

    PS. I'll try a temporary solution to the bottom of the archiveIDs box before my app it sets in the ArchiveManager, but I would like to know if I'm crazy or we can expect in the future a bug fix

    Hi Alex,

    I can reproduce.  I'll put it on our bug queue.  As you mentioned earlier, must use all lower cased archiveIDs until this is resolved.

  • Running header mixed Small Caps

    I don't know there is a simple answer to what escapes me. In a running header where the small capitals are used, I have a question mark at the end of the header which itself should not be form of small cap, but full size. How can I change/expand just the question mark?

    Let me see if I can help, without stepping on the toes of Eugene. I tried, and it seems to work perfectly.

    You will need the character styles two, one that applies small caps (and does nothing else) and the one who assigns specifically Normal according to the case (and once again does nothing else), which will be used for style variables in the header. Give these useful names, as apply small caps and Normal cases, for example.  If you don't want the small capitals in the text itself, you will need a character style, what does nothing - you just need a name to use in the nested styles. You can call this character Style 1 or model one, or anything else that will distinguish styles to actually do something. You can do this simply by selecting the [none] character style and click on the new style button. The only thing to change is the name and only if you want to change it. I want to emphasize that this style is nothing more than a name, there should be no field actually apply or change if you select text and apply formatting style.

    Set the paragraph style for the text header or running but you love the other features of the police, but do not apply small caps. Move to the area of nested styles and add two styles nested in the definition. If you don't want the small capitals, apply 1 up to 1 character Style? and normal use through 1 case?. You won't see any change in the text at all, because the nested styles are not to intervene. If you want the small capitals, use the style applies Small Caps instead of character Style 1.

    Now set two new variables header (character Style) running using character Style 1 and style of Normal case (or, if you used the style of small caps in the nested style, use it in the definition instead of character Style 1). Insert these two variables in the header, and apply the style to small caps to the first variable and the style of Normal case in the second.

    looks like this

    You have to do is use the caps and small capitals only problem is that the small caps doesn't seem to work with this font.

    If you need to make a character Style with a reduced like this font

    then you can apply it with character style Panel

    Hello

    1. If your charStyles only has names?

    2. maybe disable this line:

    app.findTextPreferences.fontStyle = itals [i]

    so myFind table will match smallCaps all.

    Now to browse and use the switch... case loop

    I mean:

    //...
    switch (myFind[j].fontStyle) {
        case "Italic":
        case "Light Italic":
        case "LightItalic":

        case "Coursive":
              myFind[j].appliedCharacterStyle = myCStyle7;
              break;
        default:
              myFind[j].appliedCharacterStyle = myCStyle6;
              break;
        }

    I found online java script that forces a field to be all caps (use in the format tab > custom format script). But I was not able to find something to edit the text in lower case in small capitals. Anyone know how to do this (or if it can only be done in Acrobat)?

    There is no such setting in Acrobat. You can use a 'small caps', but

  • Small caps ePub issue

    I'm working on placing the text in the ePub format and continue to operate in the same question.

    I want the title of the chapter to use small caps.  In InDesign, I have it look exactly the way I wish that it - '' Chapter One '' appearing with small capitals.

    I highlighted the expression '' Chapter One '' and applied a paragraph style that has the following characteristics:

    [no paragraph style] next [style]-Times New Roman-size: 24pt + needlepoint

    When I export to ePub to display the document in Adobe Digital Editions these changes are not present.  I have tried about everything the application of styles of characters and nested styles, but nothing works.  I want these appearances of small cap to work in versions ePub as well.

    Any thoughts on why it doesn't work?

    Any help is very appreciated.  Scouring the internet for some time didn't turn upward all the advice.

    Thanks in advance.

    Easy workaround solution. Map of H1 style and define H1 with small capitals in the CSS.

    But... I recalled that ADE is old enough and desperately needing an update. I would check the EPUB using something else. Even a web browser can be better.

  • Small caps works do not all of a sudden

    Hello

    I have problems with a typeface in a pamphlet that I'm working on.  Earlier the saved file versions are fine, but I'm curious as to why all of a sudden, my "small caps" are not working in two character Styles and activating / disabling the option outside of the character Styles.  It only occurs with the font I want to use: Futura Std.  If I complete with Gill without, or something, it seems to work very well then.  What could cause this, and why it would work at the earliest versions recorded, but not my new packaged version?  It works with my plain "Futura", but not my OpenTypeface "Futura Std." thoughts?

    Is there are folder named fonts in the Document in the same folder with a User.ID file? If so, make sure that you install CS5 7.0.4.

  • The curse of the Small Caps

    (CS4 Mac Leopard) With each new document and each new text box, I draw in the document, the case shall be Small Caps. I tried to create the style of character with Normal case. But when I draw a new text box, the style is returned to [none]. [Standard paragraph] style is set at Normal case. I would have thought that would negate a character style.

    Any ideas on how I can fix this?

    Thanks in advance,

    Toni

    You will also find full file location information and instructions here: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/526990, but I'm not sure it's really a question of coorupt Pref.

    Petteri suggested, turn off the small caps on the control panel and also check the [standard paragraph] style with nothing open. This should fix the new files, but the existing files will set one at a time.

    concerning

    a you are the

    Well, it depends on what small caps you want. If it is small capitals, you can create it with:

    myDoc.characterStyles.add ({name: "SC", capitalization: Capitalization.SMALL_CAPS})

    Otherwise, if you want to OpenType Small Caps (which may or may not work, depending on the font you're using)

    myDoc.characterStyles.add ({name: "SC", capitalization: Capitalization.CAP_TO_SMALL_CAP})

    It's all in the object model viewer. You can find it by going to help-> ExtendScript Toolkit object model viewer

    Hi all, I'm new to the BlackBerry Forum.

    I can display a small icon in the title bar in the main Blackberry screen to warn users when my application is received something and it is reduced?

    Thanks in advance!

    Yes you can do this by using the following code.

    ApplicationIndicatorRegistry reg = ApplicationIndicatorRegistry.getInstance();                EncodedImage image = EncodedImage.getEncodedImageResource("Indicator.png");            ApplicationIcon icon = new ApplicationIcon( image );            indicator = reg.register( icon, false, true);            indicator.setIcon(icon);            indicator.setVisible(true);

  • How to force the object mixed case names in REST GET SQL service

    Hello

    Version of ADR: 3.0.1.177.18.02

    Apex version: 5.0.1.00.06

    DB version: 12.1.0.2

    GlassFish 4.1 Community Edition

    I am creating a web service using the method = GET and source type = query using names of objects with different cases.  The web service is forcing my lowercase object names.

    I know I can set the web service by changing the type of PL/SQL source to hand and create manually using htp.prn, mixed case works when I do this.

    But it is a huge SQL except for the forced lowercase, such works as required.

    Example of

    Create a simple web service test, type GET, type source query.

    select sysdate as "currentDate" from dual

    The result will be

    {"currentdate": "2015-11 - 23 T 12: 44:25Z '}

    and not the expected

    {"currentDate": "2015-11 - 23 T 12: 44:25Z '}

    Is there a way to tell the engine to keep the case and do not force lowercase?  apex_json is case-sensitive, which makes this weird behavior.

    declare
       json   varchar2 (32767) := '{"firstName":"Olafur Tryggvason"}';
    begin
       apex_json.parse (json);
       dbms_output.put_line ('Mixed case: ' || apex_json.GET_VARCHAR2 ('firstName'));
       dbms_output.put_line ('Lowercase: ' || apex_json.GET_VARCHAR2 ('firstname'));
    end;

    Will display:
