  You can only retrieve data in Excel. If you use ad hoc reports in Excel, you can copy the points of data from Excel and paste the table into Word as a dynamic values (paste the data points).

  Another option in Word is to import a document reporting and analysis that contains the information you want.

  You change the formatting:

  right click on the value, and then selecting Toggle field codes

  It should be in a format something like that {= HsGetvalue ("", "#POV SIZE") |} SmartView12343242342 | {General |}

  in this code, "Général" is the applied formatting, change it to your desired format by the thousands formatting {= HsGetvalue ("", "#POV SIZE") |} SmartView12343242342 | 0, 0. {00 |} for example will give you thousands, commas, with 2 decimal places.

  If you don't want the separation by commas or decimal places 0, just use

  If you want the comma and no use decimal 0.0,

  If you don't want any comma decimal use 0,.00

  It's the same syntax of formatting that Excel uses.

• Two versions of smart display?

  I work at a customer who has two environments; development and production. Everything I checked indicates that the versions are identical (11.1.2.1.103_pse13709867 (Build 009)) in each environment. However, Smart View in both environments behaves differently. In Production, when I start an ad-hoc query, the POV displayed in the first row. I can switch to the TOP toolbar with the appropriate button. In development, however, the toolbar is always upward. If I switch the button, it disappears. If I have a spreadsheet I have inserted into the development and copy it into another one and connect to Production, it is said that it is to convert an old version of Smart View to the new format. Thus, they are certainly different versions. Unfortunately, I don't have access to all the files of configuration of backend. Everything I have access to (EAS, planning, EPMA, SSP) says that the two environments are the same version. Anyone know where I can say computer scientist are looking to see what is causing Smart View to use two different versions?

  It turns out that it was a problem with the help of the incorrect URL for shared connections. I was given an old for Dev when I arrived here. Once I used the right pair, my dev connections work the same as my prod ones.

• Why the vmnic is sometimes displayed with the word 'pause' next to them?

  Sometimes when I connect with vSphere client for ESXi, click the host, Configuration tab, then the network link, I see the word 'pause' displayed next to the vmnic.  No idea why this happens and what does it really mean?  When I click on properties for the corresponding vSwitch, there is only a single vmnic assigned to the vSwitch.

  Please take a look at the parameters of failover in the vSwitch properties, to see if the vmnic is listed under Active or standby.

• Smart Display report list of members of level 0 as [Parent]. [Child] instead of just kid

  All,

  I'm having a problem with a report created in Smart View which worked perfectly last week in 11.1.2.2 but am now having problems with in 11.1.2.3.  What is happening now is the level 0 children demonstrate them as [Parent]. [Child] instead of a child.  Please see below for more details.

  The original report has listed as members:

  CC010000877920 TtlOperExp CostOfGoodsSold

  CC010000301300 TtlOperExp TtlOpEx

  When I get the report now, members are listed as:

  [Another Divex - gross]. [CC010000877920]     TtlOperExp CostOfGoodsSold

  [Another Divex - gross]. [CC010000301300]     TtlOperExp TtlOpEx

  where other Divex - Gross is the parent.

  I don't find in Smart View or EPMA settings where can be found in this setting.

  Important notes:

  • When you are connected to the EPMA 11.1.2.2 Essbase database created originally
  • Now connected to the EPMA 11.1.2.3 Essbase data base
  • Does not occur when it is connected to the 11.1.2.2 database
  • When we have recreated from scratch in Excel report, the behavior is the same
  • Does not happen with HFM by operating a similar report (based on versions version)
  • The repeated member option is not set in Smart View
  • When I choose to run the report with the selection of the member name and description, the parent does not appear on the Member's name (we want only the report to display the member name, not the alias)
  • Connected to Excel 2010
  • Smart View version is 11.1.2.3.000 (Build 157)

• Smart Display 9.1.3 blocks Excel 2003 SP3

  I installed a few cases of Smart View for my users, but that a user is faced with this problem.
  In its Excel, she does not 'Hyperion' in the menu. When I add the add-in manually (by identifying HsTbar.xla), what appears is the toolbar of Smartview and not the menu 'Hyperion '.

  Symptoms

  In Excel 2003 Menu Hyperion is not available, even if the add-in is listed in the list of addins.
  Changes

  This can be triggered by an accident while working with the addin in Excel.
  Cause

  Due to a previous incident or problem, Excel has disabled the addin Smart View.

  There is an error 53 relating to HSaddin.dll enforcement.  If you try to use the toolbar directly from the addin dialog error indicates there is a problem of localization or open the HSaddin.dll.

  If SmartView is available on MS Word and works as expected, while the dll exists and works correctly.

  The problem with Excel locate or using the dll.  .

  Solution

  Instructions
  + 1.Go help-> Microsoft Excel-> disabled points +.
  + 2. Select HSaddin.dll +
  + 3. Press the Activate button. +

  The menu must be immediately available.

  You can work with it immediately, but it's good to restart excel to make sure that everything is properly picked up.

• How should I start using smart displays a preview when I previosly did not use them?

  I have used lightroom for some time now, but I've never used smart insights, so naturally I have a lot of photos on my PC. I think that I have enough space on my drives of computers to get. I would however like to get peace of mind: all my pictures are only in one place (my computer). If something were to happen to my computer and I couldn't recover photos they could be gone for good.

  This is why I bought an external hard drive. I tried to learn as much as possible through tutorials on intelligent preview. I like the fact that it automatically saves the changes everywhere. But then I got to thinking: if I use smart previews the planned way is there is always only one place (external hard drive) where the pictures would be in? So if I lost the hard drive, I have the same problem. And then I could have a copy on the hard drive and original in the computer, but it would take a lot of space wouldn't it? Space isin can't issue right now, but I think that I should think about coming.

  So, to summarize:

  • I would like to have my photos on two separate computers
  • I wish that they would be automatically synchronized
  • I would use disk minimum capasity so that I won't have any space issues in the future
  • I have a PC

  Previews Smart come into use when you have your original images stored on external hard drive and the catalogue on your local computer and external hard drive is not connected to your computer at this time.

  You want to have the Lightroom catalog on two different machines, as well as the original images as well?

  Automatic synchronization of the images is not possible in Lightroom.

  You can save a copy of the images on your local hard disks and one copy on your external drive as you did.

  Or, you can keep a backup copy of your original on an online service images if you like.

  You only need to look at the registry settings, you can run regedit to update the registry.

  You do not need to copy anything from the server, you can download the files.
  You should be able to download smartview to workspace or you can download it from the delivery.

  I was successfully taken a Dataform in offline. The corresponding data was loaded in C:\Hyperion\Offline\offlinedata in this index, security, files .otl are appearing where the dataform which I keep me offline connection., how to open and work on that.
  Any help on this Appreciable.

  What are you trying to open? You took the form offline to work on the form, once you have finished working on the form, you can sync it back up to the server.

  I try to control the pages displayed in MS Word by jumping at them. I can jump to the previous and next, but I can't go to a page I want.

  I know I'm doing something wrong with the invoke node (see below, the full code attached), but I don't know what because I don't know the syntax (if that's the right word, please correct me if I'm wrong).

  Use the constant "wdGoToPage', as you do for other functions.
