  This error occurs usually when there is an interruption in the software update. As your laptop turns off, it is reasonable to assume that this is what caused this error.

  You need to reinstall the software for this problem. That said, given that your device has the error message, you will need to remove your battery before you start the update.

  Launch the desktop software and go to Applications. You will get an error box will appear saying unable to connect to the device. You will see 3 options, including update said. Select Update, then insert your battery. You should then be able to install your software.

  Well, if it's strange behavior that has crept in, and then restart batt-sweater would be my recommended solution. Turn on, remove the cover back and pull the battery.
