It comes to jde 4.2.1 & 4.6.1, 8320,8800 & 8900 bbs

You can set the font for your application by using this statement

    Hi sidneys22641895,

    Please try to check the rendering under Edit menu options > Preferences > Page Display.

    Check if in smooth text field "for computer/laptop LCD screens" is selected.

    Let us know if that helps.

  • (mac) no smoothing fonts in the menu bookmarks and other panels in 34 FF

    After the update to 34.0 FF anti-aliasing (font smoothing) in for example the sidebar bookmarks menu is GONE. any chance to get it with a topic: config setting? content of the site Web is fine, in addition to text on the tabs or in the browser bar

  • How to use force GRAY of smoothing fonts in Web (Linux 64) mode?

    FX 2.1 release notes says:
    "Applications can also opt-in to use the text of the LCD on the text node scenegraph at low altitude by a new API."
    for example: setFontSmoothingType (FontSmoothingType.LCD), but on what node?

    I assume that this applies as well for javafx - sdk2.2.0 - beta, and I can also change globally smoothing to FontSmoothingType.GRAY. Why? b/c LCD is just horrible on my screen, barely readable... but I can wait until the beta will FCS.

    Could someone give me an example on how to use GRAY text by setting the text node scenegraph at low altitude on a WebView?

    Have you tried:

        System.setProperty("prism.lcdtext", "false");

    I hate LCD smoothing because it makes fonts look like multicolored left letters, so I've just driven it in the world for my program.

  • Font smoothing/render in firefox on windows 10-40

    Hello

    I just upgraded to 40 FF on my windows 10. The rendering of fonts is very jagged on the custom fonts on sites I visit. Is there something I can do to remedy this? On my Mac with 40 FF, the problem does not exist.

    You have an Nvidia graphics card? Mozilla has disabled hardware acceleration for some Nvidia Windows 10 driver software, and this reduces the ability of Firefox to smooth fonts. I hope this will be fixed soon, but I'm not familiar with when Nvidia maybe get out an update.

    Associates of thread: Firefox's waste policies.

    If it's NOT Nvidia, hmm, we will have many more questions.

  • What is the State of BGR-smoothing of fonts on El Captain / Sierra in July 2016

    What is the State East of smoothing of the fonts for the BGR screens in July 2016 with the latest OS - like OS X 10.11.5, El captain and the macOS later Sierra?

    Question: I'm about to buy a screen 4 K - 43 "BGR and I want to use anti-aliasing of fonts because the DPI is rather low. (under 110 ppi to 43 in.). However, OS X do not officially support police BGR, smoothing, at least, that's what people are saying. I have to wonder; This information is always accurate? OS x not supported BGR screens? And you can manually force the font smoothing?

    Potential solution, but it works? Because OS X is waiting for your RGB (red green blue) screen, and no BGR, some have suggested that you make rotate your screen 180 degrees. I doubt that it really works. Perhaps developers have disabled automatically smoothing fonts if rotate you 180 degrees. I can't verify if it's true.  So, my question remains: OS X supports screens BGR; and if not, Apple plans to release a fix for the BGR screens? Can I manually force anti-aliasing of fonts with the terminal; If I can use the hack of 180 degree rotation?

    LCD smoothing screen fonts is supported less 10.11. To allow him to spend

     > Preferences > General

    Check use LCD fonts smoothing when available.

    What of the Sierra, any information which is not made public by Apple should aim to developers forum or the feedback tool that we cannot discuss or speculate about it here.

  • Disable all the smoothing of the fonts in Windows 7 (ie: including the taskbar, menus, Control Panel, etc...)

    I would like to turn off completely all the fonts, straightening, smoothing, etc... on Windows 7. I struggle to read and it gives me a headache.

    Here's what I've tried so far:

    1. go to Windows 7 Basic theme. (No Aero).
    2. run the ClearType tuner. (It did not help. "I want to delete the font smoothing, not tweak it.)
    3 disable ClearType altogether. (Taskbar, menus, etc. are still sleek/anti-aliasing).
    4 unchecked "smooth edges of screen fonts" performance-> Visual effects. (The taskbar, help, Board policies, etc. remain smoothed).
    5 changed all my fonts Tahoma under personalize-> Windows Color
    6 using the regedit, added "Tahoma" as the first option under HKLM-> software-> Microsoft-> Windows NT-> current-> FontSubstitutes
    7 delete all fonts in/Windows/Fonts Segoe (had to take possession to do)
    8 deleted almost all foreign fonts in/Windows/Fonts (I was frustrated...)
    9. I tried to play with HKCU-> Panel-> Desktop-> FontSmoothingType (1 and 0) and FontSmoothing (1 and 0).
    10 tried to run my laptop to a non-native resolution (which makes even worse)

    The steps above has removed most fonts smoothing, the taskbar, dialogue, Control Panel, etc. boxes are still sleek/anti-aliasing. So far, the only way I found to completely turn off all smoothing is to switch to classic mode, which is unfortunate to delete any visual styles either. In short, I want Win7 fonts to render in a mode binary/full pixelated, with no blur rendering or subpixel gray.

    Help, please!

    Hi Ken,
    I hope that the typography of Win 7 team makes this optional 'functionality' of SP1. I'm holding out until then. But if you insist on using 7 before smoothing fonts is fixed, here's how to deal with registry fonts substitutes and UAC/protection system.
    Change under FontSubstitutes registry settings so that "Tahoma" appears before Segoe in all parameters of FontSubstitute. Then, appropriating the Windows directory (I took possession of all subdirectories and files, that may be excessive, but made other tweaking easier to deal with) delete Segoe. To appropriate, right-click on the Windows system folder, select 'Properties', click Security, advanced options, and then clik on owner in the advanced security settings... Click the button modify and change of owner to your own account. Do some "replace the subcontainer owner...". "is checked.
    It is an exaggeration, but it will get.

    P.S. If someone figure out how to remove the font smoothing in the taskbar for Win 7, I praise you for all time.
  • Fonts of pixelation CD player on pages

    I've updated to CD.  The fonts look pixelated and the program now has a cartoonish look to it.  Looked so bad I had to uninstall the program and go back to an older version of the player.  Anyone else does?  Adobe has this created on purpose?

    I downloaded the program again and reinstalled.  Look for smooth fonts this time, I checked the path you suggested and the box that you recommend is checked.  Solved the problem, thanks for the help.

  • After Effects CS4 / Illustrator scaling of fonts problem

    I created a file Adobe Illlustrator consisting of three layers of text in three sizes of fonts, 1296, 72 and 6 points on a computer running WIndows Vista with CS4 (all updates) using the Impact font without mods.  Then I used it in After Effects to create a pixel annimation 1280/720 can evolve from the largest to the smallest font.  I have anti-aliasing more accurate film and NOMINAL value is not defined in the timeline panel.  As you can see from the example, it makes good to a point, then it starts to Pixelize. I reproduced the problem in several other scenarios.

    However, when I create the annimation even in After Effects, using the same Impact font, I get the smooth fonts from small to large, see below.  Obviously, I do something wrong, fade when I import the file in AE (I tried importing as images and vector Art), or I create the .ai incorrectly (just using default values).

    I have apprecriate your help!

    Select the level continuously rasterize switch.

  • Font system and Flash Player 10

    Hello

    I find it difficult to find all the information on the farms, but if I forgot a few obvious resources please direct me to it...

    What is the State of the use of Flex 3.4 system published in FP 10 fonts?  Can I specify a font that is not incorporated and expect not to render correctly when its alpha is changed or it runs? Or should I always use embedded fonts?

    Thank you.

    If you use FP10 so you can rotate fonts.  The quality of the results

    depend on the rendering of fonts in the user OS options.  If they for some

    Why use no smoothing fonts, the results are not that pretty.

  • Apply css to text

    I haved watched a few posts on the application of css and I came up with the following.

    It would be the right way to apply css to my textbox.

    SYM. $("headline1Txt") .html ("< id p = 'headlineText' > < / p >");

    SYM. $("headline1Txt") .css ("- webkit - smoothing fonts aliasees", "font family", "","'Round de Varela', Helvetica, sans serif! important");

    No, you can do it on a line out to transform the red text I would get the element name from the weather on the side panel and simply make

    SYM. $("text") .css ("color", "red");

    or symbol. $("text") .css ("font size", 24 "PX"); and so on

    Add to compositonReady a click or two.

  • GeoGebra prints a PDF with printer acrobat, its text that can be selected or not searchable.

    I want to join the pdf but it does not seem possible. So I'll put a link http://elinkage.net/1.pdf here.

    The created pdf file is certainly not an image. Nice looking for smooth fonts which is fully scalable.  Just can't believe that the text is not selectable or searchable.

    Thanks for all comments and solutions to correct the issue.

    The characters associated with the field points are represented by actual fonts.

    The rest is shown characters (an image using vector graphics).

    Open the PDF with Acrobat Pro (any version).

    Go to the content panel.

    Lotsa - Lotsa entries 'Path '.  Almost all are these characters Graphic image.

    In short - nothing can do a 'find' or a 'research' on as it is not more not less than an 'image' - no 'real' text (a prerequisite for any search engine to 'find' or 'Search' or built a search index).

    If a problem of 'author' and not an Acrobat / Adobe Reader / software application problem.

    Be well...

  • Typing is delayed in InDesign CC

    IM using a fast enough processor iMac i5 with 16 GB of memory and no other applications running and get a little delayed typing. I show up when it comes to the app and optimization system, consider all of my fonts are clean and the maintenance of the system is to day and talk to type in a document of 2 pages with a single image in it - nothing complicated. Any thoughts on what could be the cause?  I don't remember this issue past before CC.

    I just find the answer to this problem extremely simple (at least for my attire). I don't remember seen this in any of the other threads as a fix:

    Go to Sys Prefs > General > uncheck "use LCD smoothing fonts...". »

    IND is back to normal and fast as ever.  SWEET JOY!

  • (Google Roboto, etc...) TrueType fonts are rendered with letters buggy (off ClearType, off smooth Windows) {SOLVED}

    Hi, please help with the problem of the object.
    Example of problem is attached. Most of the sites look completely ok, even if specific fonts "buggy". On youtube, it is Roboto fonts.

    Next ideas are NOT the solutions:
    -to activate ClearType (evil - looking actually fonts)
    -to activate the smoothing (even) windows fonts
    -to deactivate fonts in firefox (works, but a bit brokes many sites)
    -modification of setting standard gdi (they are overwhelmed without effect in the new versions of Firefox, most of the parameters exist)

    Google brings only ideas above.

    Note that you can edit your first post and change the title field, through the sidebar next to your first message.

    The fonts are loaded via an inline style tag of "fonts.gstatic.com/s/roboto/" you can see through the source of the page.
