  Unless you have a few problems of heat - it probably won't affect the machine simply use a screen saver.  There are a lot of machines out there who have been in years--perhaps decades.

  If the bottom of my screen does not respond to my pen, but it is to the touch. I recalibrated entries times touchscreen and stylus, but nothing seems to work. I moved the taskbar on top, and when I take notes with OneNote, when I get down about where would be the taskbar and the straight draw down, it actually starts going perfectly horizontal to the right. I have all the problems of drawing by touch at the bottom of the screen, it really seems to be a matter of stylus. I also JUST replace the battery for the pen yesterday. When the taskbar are low, my pen will recognize not all apps that are pinned there, and I can't hit the Windows button (start?) with her either. As I said, I can with my hand.   (1) when you create a track of Instrument UNCHECK the option Open library (box red...).,..., and then select void Channel Strip in the drop-down list (see blue arrow in the screenshot below)

  

  2) go to logic preferences and turn on ALL the advanced tools...

• No way to Dim the brightness of the display on the iMac to 2014

  I bought an iMac 27 inch nine in August 2014. Model no. A1419. It has been manufactured in 2013. As far as I can remember, there has never been the brightness slider in the display preferences and unction keys have never dimmed the screen. Initially, I ignored the problem but 2015 intense brightness became a real problem so I tried everything I could think of to correct it. Advice of the seller's customer support and reseller Apple has not managed to get a solution. More and more, it seems like a hardware problem or something in the Boot ROM. I am now on OSX El Capitan, which actually has no difference.

  Any suggestions please?

  I use the software "Shady"... This allows me to control brightness for as low as possible... you can try it once and check if it works...
