  I'm trying to convert to PDF a PPT presentation with my Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro, I have already installed a few years back.  I never had any problems with it just to the end.  It has ceased to be able to convert and so I uninstalled the program and installed it again.  Tried to use it but I keep this error message: failed to create the file.  Missing PDF maker files.  You want to repair the program (or something in that sense)?  I click YES and go through the same process long but then again, it is not converted.  It's so frustrating.  Only, I've installed the program on a computer.  What should I do?

  Try to start your system from a "Live Linux" CD free.  This CD runs a version of Linux without installing anything on your hard drive.  To create the CD, you download a file ".iso" and feature "Burn Image" of your CD burner to create a bootable CD.  The advantage, that you win, is that Linux is a lot less strict with permissions, so you should be able to access your files and copy them to a USB device.  Some Linux Live CD are:

  According to my understanding, there are two ways to access the file on blackberry system.

  (1) through J2ME JSR - 75... but in this case combined approval alert popups and the solution to avoid this problem is always only one carrier signature. I checked this with Blackberry "BOLD".

  (2) net.rim.device.api.io.File API - but I found no way to create the file. It provides APIs to only delete and rename the file.

  so the question is (1) how do I create the file via the RIM API?

  (2) will appear this API the user confirmation alert? I already had the blackberry code signing keys.

  Thanks, but is not the case. As I have said, that the DATA diskgroup has space enough he uses only a single disk in a RAID.

  But I solved my problem... To the auxiliary database, I added the following to the spfile:

  DB_FILE_NAME_CONVERT = '+ DATA/ProdDB', '+ DATA/OlderDB ".

  LOG_FILE_NAME_CONVERT = '+ DATA/ProdDB', '+ DATA/OlderDB ".

  I don't know why, but with these two clauses, it worked well. Perhaps RMAN was trying to restore it to the wrong place?

  IM pretty new to the present and iv tried to work this point for some time now...

  I got a box of freenas with an array of 5 TB in it... I would like to make a 1 TB logical unit number and mount it on my ESXi 4 server.

  my configuration is:

  FreeNAS < = 10.10.10.1 = > 2x1GB links using the FEC (Fast or channel) [10.10.10.0/24] < = 10.10.10.2 = > ESXi

  I managed to configure the FreeNAS successfully [as far as I can tell...], when I add the target to the iSCSI software storage card it finds the logic unit number and everything seems good.

  the problem starts when I try to add as a data store... I select:

  Disk/LUN > freeNas LUN > leave default primary partition > give it a simple name > chose the minimum file size of 512 GB > finish

  and I get the following error...

  Call "HostDatastoreSystem.CreateVmfsDatastore" of object "ha-datastoresystem" on ESXi '192.168.2.202' failed.

  Operation failed, the diagnostic report: unable to create the file system, please see VMkernel connect you for more details.

  I put t know which files you downloaded, but you can choose an application installed that can open these files.

  Right click the file and I have to then choose open with.
  Then, you could choose the program you want to use.

  Windows has many built-in features to make it as compatible as possible with older versions, but Windows 3.1 is really a little old! You can try to use Compatibility Mode, but it goes only up to what Windows 95.

  To run an older program in Ccompatability Mode (as if your PC was using an older operating system):

  1. right click on the program and select 'properties '.

  2. go in the 'Compatibility' tab at the top.

  3. check the first check box and to set up the 'Windows 95 operating system "(which is as old as that).

  4. check all other settings for maximum compatibility (depending on the program that you try to use, some may not be necessary, but you should try each of them to be sure).

  5. click "OK" and try to run the program.

  Note: If you want to try to do this at a program Office (and other Windows programs), this may not work. Please ask for more help with this.
