SOA Suite 11.1.1 install hangs

I try to install SOA Suite 11.1.1.7 on my Windows machine. When I run the Setup program using the specified command, Setup crashes immediately. Can someone guide me what to do? Here is the image.

Capture3.JPG

There was a file named 'setup.exe' to the root of the directory "Disk1". Initially, I tried to run this setup file and get error. Then I noticed that there are some folders nested inside the root folder 'Disk1', that have the path as '... \Disk1\install\win64'. In this directory, I found another "setup.exe". I ran and it worked fine.

The problem is I want to do some POC for healthcare scenarios, as I currently work in a basic health project.

I installed Oracle SOA Suite 11.1.1.5.0. As part of the SOA Suite installation, the following components have been installed.
    1 oracle database
    2 Weblogic server
    3. REGIONAL COORDINATION UNIT
    4 SOA Suite
    5 JDeveloper
    6 extension for JDeveloper SOA

Therefore, to improve the SOA Suite for the construction of scenarios of healthcare, I'm stuck upward with the following questions:

    1. what install everything?
    2. where can I find the downloadable necessary?
    3. how to install it?

The problem is I want to do some POC for healthcare scenarios, as I currently work in a basic health project.

If you want to work on a CEP then please use Oracle SOA 11.1.1.6 for the integration of health care. It is not recommended to use the PS4 (11.1.1.5).

For PS5 (11.1.1.6), instructions are here-

Has anyone are faced with this problem, please let me know the fix for this?

    Concerning
    Girish

    Hi Girish
Make sure that you install JDeveloper and WLS + SOA totally different middleware at (different folders). See below the message for more information:

    JDeveloper and WLS/SOA 11.1.1.6 upgrade

Moreover, JDeveloper version goes head-to-head with WLS + SOA Version. As you have installed SOA 11.6, be sure to download and install version 11.6 JDev only. Older versions may work, but it is not recommended and usually not taken in charge.

    Thank you

  • Install SOA Suite on the WLS integrated into JDeveloper

    Hello

I wonder if it is possible to install SOA suite on the integrated WebLogic provided with JDeveloper?

If it is not possible, what is the recommended method for commissioning for development? It is to install a real WebLogic & SOA Suite on each developer's machine?

    Hi Mark,

No, it is not possible to install SOA on the WLS integrated into JDeveloper. There are a few technical problems preventing now, but we would like to get this to work in the future.

So yes, you can install the full WLS + SOA on your own machine for development. After installing, go to WLS and disable everything that you do not reduce the footprint (for example, you need not also good soa and bpm composer composer, you don't need so much worklist and workspace).

  • I can't install SOA Suite 11 without user DBA?

I'll use the RCU tool to create diagrams of SOA required on an Oracle database for my installation. But my company's policies prohibiting me to use a user with DBA privileges. So my question is, it is possible to install SOA Suite with the help of a user who is not a DBA?

In addition, as a test migration, I intend to create patterns of SOA in an 'A' database with the DBA user, and then perform a schema export to the newly created to finally perform an import of this another 'B' database using the DBA user. This will work? My concerns have to do with no privileges in the new database.

    Thanks in advance!

You don't need to have the role DBA to create users, but you need the specific rights granted to create users, roles, tables, etc. Unfortunately, I don't have a complete list of GRANTS, you should be able to create the complete schematics.

To export/import a schema, you can either export the user full or only tables. The later requires that you create the user with exactly the same rights and storage space.

This is much easier if you have granted DBA role...

Unfortunately, the guides of facilities in the (http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E15523_01/index.htm) product documentation provide no clue.

Anyone has an idea on the possible error? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I advise you to try to use the generic Setup program to: % SOA_INSTALLER_DIR%/Disk1/runInstaller. Because if you use the runInstaller in the %SOA_INSTALLER_DIR%/Disk1/install/solaris it will lead to this problem in some cases.

  • Where is installed Oracle DB Lite? In Soa Suite inst. dir? Service required?

As far as I know that SOA Suite can use a 'complete' other DB Oracle (Express).
However the user can omit this separate DB and use the integrated database «Oracle lite»

Is this Oracle DB lite installed in the Soa Suite or elsewhere on the hard drive installation directory?

Does need a winning service running (similar to "full" Oracle DB) or it turns on request
    in AppServer?

    Peter

You can go to olite DB full, but not vice versa. When you make this change you may lose State in your messages on board.

to migrate to olite Oracle DB do the following:

1.) make sure that the new target database is running.

2.) IRCA script run to create diagrams for BPEL, ESB and GOSA in the new database:

Eg: irca all "localhost 1521 v102" welcome -overwrite

3.) make a backup of the file:

    ${OC4J_HOME}\config\data-sources.xml

4.) changes the following connection of the ESB and BPEL with Betclic to point to the new resource DB.

    * BPELPM_CONNECTION_POOL
    * ESBAQJMSPool
    * ESBPool

You can use either Console Enterprise Manager to make this change or edit the file: ${OC4J_HOME}\config\data-sources.xml

Here is an example configuration for BPELPM_CONNECTION_POOL:

5.) If you spend Olite DB Oracle EE, look in the build.properties for DB_URL project files and replace DB_VENDOR "olite' by 'oracle '.

    DB_VENDOR=oracle

    otherwise, no changes are necessary.

6.) update metadata BSE - log in the scheme of BSE (ORAESB) and change the value of DT_OC4J_HOST and DT_OC4J_HTTP_PORT to match your environment of hostname and the Port and by running the following SQL script:

    insert into esb_parameter values('ACT_ID_RANGE', '400');insert into esb_parameter values('DT_OC4J_HOST', 'soainternal.mycompany.com');insert into esb_parameter values('DT_OC4J_HTTP_PORT', '7777');insert into esb_parameter values('PROP_NAME_INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY', 'com.evermind.server.rmi.RMIInitialContextFactory');insert into esb_parameter values('PROP_NAME_DEFERRED_TCF_JNDI', 'OracleASjms/MyTCF');insert into esb_parameter values('PROP_NAME_DEFERRED_XATCF_JNDI', 'OracleASjms/MyXATCF');insert into esb_parameter values('PROP_NAME_DEFERRED_TOPIC_JNDI','OracleASjms/ESBDeferredTopic');insert into esb_parameter values('PROP_NAME_ERROR_TCF_JNDI', 'OracleASjms/MyTCF');insert into esb_parameter values('PROP_NAME_ERROR_XATCF_JNDI', 'OracleASjms/MyXATCF');insert into esb_parameter values('PROP_NAME_ERROR_TOPIC_JNDI', 'OracleASjms/ESBErrorTopic');insert into esb_parameter values('PROP_NAME_ERROR_RETRY_JNDI', 'OracleASjms/ESBErrorRetryTopic');insert into esb_parameter values('PROP_NAME_ERROR_RETRY_TCF_JNDI', 'OracleASjms/MyXATCF');insert into esb_parameter values('PROP_NAME_MONITOR_TCF_JNDI', 'OracleASjms/MyTCF');insert into esb_parameter values('PROP_NAME_MONITOR_TOPIC_JNDI', 'OracleASjms/ESBMonitorTopic');insert into esb_parameter values('PROP_NAME_CONTROL_TCF_JNDI', 'OracleASjms/MyXATCF');insert into esb_parameter values('PROP_NAME_CONTROL_TOPIC_JNDI', 'OracleASjms/ESBControlTopic');commit;select * from esb_parameter

7.) restart the SOA container and make sure that the opmn and newspapers of J2EE container for any errors.

  • Install SOA suite 11 g

    Hi all

I am very new in the implementation of the Oracle SOA Suite 11 g and I have to migrate my 10g applications, but don't always know what operating system is recommended for installation of 11g and to view the matrix certification but cannot find a recommendation to choice.

I hope you can help me

    Thank you

Doesnot Oracle recommends one BONE on the other.

Its a matter of personal choice and other factors such as the enterprise deployment, type of material, etc.
For learning purposes and quick start Windows is preferable because you will be able to be up and running sooner than in the Linux operating system.

    Thank you

  • DR Set for Oracle SOA SUite

    Hi all

We have to implement DR for environment SOA HA Production. Here is the overview of our production environment:

1 load balancer F5 to load balance requests on the web node.
    2. two nodes of the web - OHS layer is hosted on the nodes
    3. two node cluster - SOA and OSB cluster SOA is installed on both production AppS node (Oracle SOA suite 11 g on dual Cluster node)
    4 node RAC database

    Infrastructure avilable Dr. implemented are:

    1 one Web node
    2. a single Application node
    3. the database node

A standby node updated database in place is already done for DR replication on the end of DB.

We have to set up the Web and Application Tier npw.

Most of the documentation of Oracle that I lived contains as configuration. that is the DOUBLE knot DR put in place to double knot prod environment.

But here, in our case 1 Web and applications 1 node Dr. While for production, we have 2 Web and 2 nodes of Apps.

What should be the best approach to DR configuration with available infrastructure above. Should we just install the binary files on standalone DR nodes and route traffic through while we load balancer activity DR?

Is replication required disk for everything other than JMS queue store directories? If reproduce us the JSM file storage will be relevant at the DR site?

Is this Setup looks doable or do I consider something lse as well?

Configuration asymmetrical DR for products of BCI is flly supported by Oracle, this can be achieved by creating alias on the primary and DR server name and set the services to listen on the alias name.

  • Difference between SOA Suite 64 Bit and SOA Suite 32 Bit

    Hello

I'm new to SOA. I want to install SOA Suite 64 Bit on my laptop with 64-bit system and a window 8 64-bit.

I'm curious to know what what is the difference between SOA Suite 64 Bit and SOA Suite 32 Bit.

There are various facilities available for the 64-bit and 32-bit?

    Or

The facilities are same for 64-bit and 32-bit, but it's only depends on whether the JDK is 64-bit or 32-bit.

    Thank you

    Prashant jegou

    Hi Prashant, there.

If you use the JDK that is bundled with WLS, I think that you have installed 32 - bit.

The best way to check is to run java-version on the prompt of the JDK that helps run the suite servers SOA. Another approach is to examine the server log and files where the start is unloaded and you should be able to see the seller of the JVM and architecture.

To install WLS 64-bit, you must use the generic installation program (.jar) which requires a JDK 64 - bit pre-installed. And then on top, with installation of SOA.

I never tried to SOA on 32-bit and I think that it is not stable at all due to the limited segment size you can allocate for the JVM.

    Hope this helps,

    Anatoli

  • Installation of SOA Suite 11g

    Hello

I am an oracle applications developer and want to learn how SOA. I would like to install SOA suite 11 g on my computer laptop windows 7, but I read an article on apps2fusion.com, saying it would slow down terribly and may even corrupt Windows operating system files.

Is that true and if so, how install it safely without any mess. This could be a basis of SB, but I couldn't find a good online documentation. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

I wouldn't worry about installing corrupt Windows operating system files.  However, it will definitely slow down your PC.  If you are looking for a facility that won't affect your ability to use Windows, I download Oracle virtual box install an OS in VirtualBox and then install SOA Suite in the VirtualBox.  This will allow you to 'fork' more soa and all of its components still active as the database, when you do not need.

Once you have downloaded virtualBox, install your operating system preferred in it.  If you are using Windows 7 and you want it to be the OS used inside VirtualBox, you will need a special touch to it.  However, there are a multitude of free Linux variant. My favorite is CentOS.

Once you have installed an operating system in VB Oracle, so go ahead and download the appropriate files to install SOA Suite.  Please note that SOA suite installation locally requires the installation of Weblogic, a local database Oracle (the database single user works fine), as well as the installation of the entire suite SOA. In addition, you'll also probably want to download and install SOAPUi which is a great tool to test service endpoints.

To get all this to work properly, you will need a lot of RAM.  Currently, my Toolbox (running on Windows 7 Pro, not in VB Oracle) can use (including the total operating system) up to 5.5 GB.  For the above configuration, I would suggest that this amount is available for your VirtualBox and more whatever your OS needs on the host system.

Alternatively, if you install the largest components (Weblogic and the database) on a server, you can simply use in your tests.

Please let me know if that helps.
