  Yes it will work for the music and AIFF without problem.

  I advise to use the default setting which is ITU 1770-3 Loudness.

  You can see in the Panel when it scans all the files or not gain compensation will clamp or not. If it is, the ITU standard dictates true peak limit to use, if you are near the top, then there will be some limiting that will change the dynamics (according to how far above zero, the audio will be).

  So if this is a problem, try to go to a lower level of volume target such as all your files don't clip and so will not engage the limiter.  Or you can choose a different volume as RMS method or the perceived loudness (Legacy), where you can explicitly disable the limiter.

  Cisco removed the ability to search for known bugs in a particular software version?

  The new tool of bug seems to allow seraches if you know the ID of the bug.

  All my attempts to locate the old dialog box where you enter platform and software information ended up in this new tool.

  The link of display bugs in advising software also now just takes you to the new bug tool.

  How am I supposed to identify a potential bug that we are witnessing on our infrastructure when I clearly do not know the ID of the bug?

  The information on the link for this tool States 'Finding software bugs based on the product, release and key word'. I don't see how this is possible.

  I see that you do not have an assosiated to your Cisco.com user ID valid service contract. To search for bugs in products or releases, you need a valid service contract in your Cisco.com user ID.

  If you do not have a service contract you can get one through:

  • Your team if you have a purchase contract direct with Cisco Cisco
  • Your Cisco partner or reseller

  Once you have the service contract, you must associate your service agreement with your Cisco.com user ID with the Profile Manager

  I agree that sentence is a bit off, note that the view talking affected _products_ (or not), not specific _components_ of a product.

  UCS seems to be off the hook. Not affected are:

  • Cisco UCS series B (blade) servers
  • Cisco UCS C-Series (Stand alone Rack) servers
  • Cisco UCS Central
  • Cisco UCS fabric of interconnections
  • Systems Cisco UCS Invicta series Solid State

  MMIC and UCSM would be part of the FI or B-or-C-series, etc.

  Hello Lucille.

  One thing that can sometimes help with the overall volume of the internal speakers is as follows.

  Do a right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select "playback devices".  Left click the device once to highlight default (it is usually 'speakers & headphones') and then click the properties button.  Click the enhancements tab and put a check mark in the box "Loudness equalization.  Click on apply to save the changes and then click OK in all other windows and see if allowed at all.

  Another useful (and free) software, you can try if your music files are in the format MP3 MP3Gain .

• Errors of exported - session hearing CC

  I have a project that plays very well, but the archive session exported is defective. I tried to export the session several times and the flaw exists every time so I think it's a software bug/problem.

  I use 64 bit Windows 8.1, i7-4790 processor 3.6 GHz, 16 GB ram, hearing CC

  To archive a project I "Export the Session" copies of the files involved. Normally, this seems to work well. On this occasion the exported archive seems to have completely mutilated a track.  It's an edited voice finished and it seems have been scrambled pretty randomly.  Bits are in the wrong place in time.  Changes occur where they should not. A mess.  I can't be certain, but I think that all other tracks exported successfully and accurately.

  Can someone give me directions to try to stop what is happening?

  It made me nervous I can't archive reliable stuff and also made me wonder about the last archives can't be checked.

  I think the problem is, is that you have two files in the session that have the same name

  L:\Tom Urry\20160304 - VO.wav of Childrens Society\Children society

  and

  L:\Tom Urry\20160304 - Childrens Society\early & VO just to look at society of sounds etc\Children VO.wav video

  The first is used on channel 2 and the second is used on track 3

  Now when you export hearing brings together all the files and copy them to the location of your choice which is in this case

  C:\Users\Geoff\Tom Chase archives\20160418 - company Childrens archive\With megaphone fx at 6 secs\Childrens soc 20160401@1318 with FX_01_CopiedFiles\Children company VO.wav megaphone

  and

  Now, each of them has an internal reference so hearing knows a used where and is very well in the sesx original, BUT when you export the second file overwrites the first file and while they have always references to where they should be used they are now referencing the same file.

  To make it a little harder to spot, I suspect that these two files are similar, but different enough to affect only a few clips on track 2, but that is neither here nor there.

  Solution: Change the name of one of the files two source and everything will be good when you export ;-)

  I'll write a bug report or a feature request, and to suggest that hearing is at least a warning when there are duplicates in the export
