  I'm trying to get the phone number and the information that I need to activate an installation of Server 2008. The server is my DC and sits on a closed network cannot reach the Internet. The installation was interrupted for more than 60 days, so to request activation. I'm not allowed to modify the current installation (i.e. relocation Server 2008). I have my current PID.

  When I go through the activation process, it fails with the error 0x8010002E. It gives me all the options for offline activation. The error code is for 'Lack of Smart Card Reader'. It's my DC so he shouldn't use a smart card to log on or to make administrative functions due to possible failure with the card reader software.

  How can I do it manually with these questions offline activation?

• Random L2TP connection problem for server 2008 R2

  I had a strange problem with a L2TP VPN connection to a Server 2008 R2.  Some systems on some networks can not connect successfully.  Nothing is recorded on the Server 2008 R2 box.  I see traffic from our firewall to the box, but it does not complete the configuration of the tunnel.

  For example, I have a laptop that I can't connect from my home, but can from other locations.  I have a second laptop that connect to my house without any problem.  I saw this question on at least 5 computers.  Until I can fix this, I have to keep my Server 2003 running VPN so that users have a back fall VPN to connect to.

  Is it possible to add a folder (not an OU) to the computers and users AD?  I need to elements in the field, but totally not affected by the GPO.  I tried building and ORGANIZATIONAL unit and block inheritance, but I still have questions.  The only place the servers work is located in the computers folder.  I need a second place to keep them.

  Hello. I am trying to create an area of origin. I know I have to use more computers in the domain, but this is not the point. I was wondering if someone could help me find a driver for Server 2008 network for my computer (or someone could build one but I heard that takes a lot of effort). The original network driver has become unknown when I installed the operating system. I am also aware that I should use a newer computer for this but I can't afford to buy one now and I can't seem too creating a on a virtual machine. Also, I searched all over the internet and there are drivers for my computer, but not for the operating system I. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

  To do this and then try to manually install the driver.

  Download and install this free utility for files.

  1 file listed is for 32 bit.

  http://www.7-zip.org/

  After you download and install 7 - zip, download and register but do not sp46403 run.

  Right-click on sp46403 and select 7 - Zip from the list of items.

  Have 7-Zip extract of: and leave it to decompress the file in the sp46403 folder.

  Then try to manually install the drivers, but navigate to location 7-zip extracts the sp46403 driver file to.
