  I use OS X Capitan version 10.11.13 and I'm trying to find an easy way to switch between multiple windows in the same application by using CTRL + alt or different keys.

  Here is what I feel...

  Let's say I have Outlook, Google Chrome, Safari, iTunes and apps 'about this Mac' open.

  I open the new message window in Outlook and another Chrome window. I have therefore 2 separate windows in Outlook and Chrome.

  With that, I'm unable to move the composition and the window main outlook which is so annoying. Let's say I want to read the emails by the prospect main window and transfer of the content of the compose window! The command + tab doesn't take me to the main window of Microsoft outlook! Even if there were the last visited / applications window. This constraint is not intuitive, unless it can be configured in the settings?

  Strangely, I can't switch to the "about this Mac" window.

  The work around is to use the function (F3) mission button and click on the window, that I want to use or click the "Outlook" application on the dock icon and choose the window in the list.

  Does anyone know how switch between different windows in the same application by using a key combination or one another method other than listed above?

  In general, an Application that can open multiple windows provides a "Windows menu" you can choose the window you want.

  Out of curiosity, I uninstalled IE7 beta 3, as it was the only program I thought that may be important that has been installed since last Dreamweaver work properly - and guess what? -the problem disappeared!

• Switch between open documents?

  Is there a keyboard shortcut (or the way to create a custom shortcut) to switch between open documents in DW? What I speak is something similar to Alt - Tab on Windows. When I am using the code keyboard it would be awfully nice to quickly switch to another open rather file to reach for the mouse each time.
  
  I hope that it is something that I simply not ran through again in 3 different improvements of DW and not something that the program can't do.

  It is built in: CTRL + TAB moves from left to right and CTRL + SHIFT + TAB moves from right to left. I think it may be CMD +' for Mac, but not sure.

  Unfortunately, in CS$, I was not able to find a shortcut to switch between the associated files in the open document active, in addition to the "long" lane: ALT + V, taking hit ALT R twice, then arrow key right, then signs upward or down to the next file to.

  Is it possible to set up a keyboard shortcut that would allow me to switch between open files without having to use the small menu drop-down? I edit audio files that have need a couple of repeat SFX stuck in it, so I am constantly pass to another file to copy, and then move back to stick. Of course if it was only an SFX I could leave it in my Clipboard but alas...  Any help is greatly appreciated.

  I just switched to Photoshop CC of CS5. I usually open a large number of documents at a time and need to easily switch between them quickly. In CS5, I would use command + ~ to switch to the next document.

  If you use PS 2015, you can reset the preferences cmd - k. or you can press cmd-opt-shift at the start of the PS.

  Yes, with the latest update, we have introduced tabs in Acrobat.

  If you would like to keep tabs with Acrobat PDF function and want to switch between them, then you can use CTRL + TAB.

  or if you want to enable the functionality of the tab and all want PDF to open in a new window then

  go in Edition > Preferences > General

  Uncheck the option in the tool pane of base, 'open documents as tabs in the same window (requires restart) '.

• iMac (retina 5K, 27 inches, end of 2015) 1-2 second stops when you try to open or switch between applications

  1-2 second ago stops whenever I try to open an application or switching between applications. The animation of the application icon in the status bar at the opening of the starts, pauses for 1-2 seconds and ends before you open the application. When you click on an inactive application window it pauses for 1 to 2 seconds before making the active window. This only happens after a reboot. It takes about a day being initialized for this problem to occur.

  This does not seem like behaviour expected of such a new machine with charge card. All advice is appreciated.

  What are your settings of Photos? Looks like you have a ton of photos regenerate and transferring to iCloud. I've seen similar reports, but I'm not a heavy user of Photos. I'll see if I can move your question on the forum Photos: Photos for Mac
