  I use extension "Ghostery" worm 5.4.9 blocking tracker with Firefox under Mac OS 10.6.8 42.0. It no longer works. Although he has worked with previous versions of Firefox. It DOES not work with Safari. I get a 'page not analyzed' Ghostery message and cannot solve the problem with known Ghostery patches. Firefox shows also page 'options' of Ghostery when I try to access it. Again, this used to work and still does with Safari.

• Hello, I'm new here, I'm trying to find how to make my windows vista machine have a static IP address.

  The reason for this: British Colombia, I'm trying to port forward on my router 2wire AT & T. Everytime I turn my laptop off the IP reset and I can't do a check port on port forwarding, I did the day before. So I need a static IP address so that when I turn off my machine and then again on the INVESTIGATION period does not reset. Could I get a good suggestion on where to find this info.? I asked on other forums, but it seems that those who are not very active, and it's frustrating day waiting to get an answer lol. I really need my games to have a port before getting a low latency (ms). And also for download speeds appropriate downloading patches. Unfortunately, I do not know if my router 2wire has a UPnP enable/disable option of opening and closing ports properly. But I guess that even if it is not that I could always get the port forwarding to work. Thnx so you can really help me out here, I really appreciate it...

  I tried to implement my workstation local based working with PHP, IIS servers but the instructions I can find are vague and so far, I did not get the servers to answer even a simple PHP script.  I was hoping since Expression Web products claim to be able to build PHP applications that by extension could someone give me advice to set up PHP to work with my local IIS installations.  I have Windows XP Pro and Windows 7 Pro work positions.  This is a forum for Windows 7 and I thought someone here might have the experience and knows how to get the operational product.  Just for reference, I'm trying to use php - 5.4.10 - Win32-VC9 - x 86, which is, in my view, their latest stable version.  VC9 is what they say to use with IIS.

  There are several types of resets. First the hard reset which is somply restart your tablet. Often, this is done via the power buttons and is usually used to refresh your tablet. Second, that's what other poster mentioned. This is usually done using a PIN located near the sd card slot. You use this if you cannot do a hard reset. The third is what I believe, that's what you're asking about. It is called a factory reset. And it can be done by going to the settings menu. By doing a factory reset, you put the tablet to its factory condition original whereby all data, accounts and passwords are deleted in the main partition. Also all the legal mumbo-jumbo reappear. Note that the data in the other partition like pictures and mp3s will not be deleted. You must remove them manually. The other partition AI also called usb0. Finally, you can also reset DRM mp3s and movies that you have purchased. I hope this helps.

Everything on the official Liteon site I found and (tried to) read is in Taiwanese, and I am unable to read or translate.  If you could (have mercy on me) so help me or point me in the right direction - I would appreciate it very much .  I tried to understand what I have to do for 2-1/2 weeks and I have spent too much time on this when I should be spending time with my kids! :).

   

  My problem is the following... Recently, I ran a clean up/duplicate file registry cleaner program (ARO) and it seems also removed some vital and very much needed files, extensions, drivers, programs and who knows what else.  I had to download several other programs, file extensions and drivers from scratch, in order to get these things working again. But I can not for the life of understand me what to do with my Liteon CD-ROM. I also used the registry cleaner deletes "duplicate files", and after researching (too late), I found that it often confuses some files as duplicates when they are indeed not the same - post or file descriptions are very similar, or disable a single number or letter. I lost a lot of my pictures as well, and I'm heartbroken over. Anyway, the biggest problem I've noticed is that my CD ROM (Liteon CD-ROM LTN486S) will not work. It happened immediately after the registry cleaner 'cleaned' my folders and things - so I guess that's the culprit.  In fact, my computer is not recognizing even the CD ROM at all. It of Completely disappeared-MIA of 'Information/system components' lacks content 'My Computer' and when I try to update the drivers in the only place I can find that show the CD ROM (but with a large yellow explanation
  ! Mark) - in the "Device Manager" , I get the error: "Windows cannot load the driver for this hardware device. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) ». Then, when I right click on it and select "Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device", I get the same error: ("Windows cannot load the driver for this hardware device. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) »). Track only of it (that I can find anyway) is in the 'Device Manager', where even once, it's a big yellow exclamation on the "Liteon CD-ROM LTN486S" here.  It is the only piece of evidence that it ever existed. I've looked everywhere I can think of, in places that I didn't know existed. I've looked everywhere on the internet for the driver for the "Liteon CD-ROM LTN486S' updates but unfortunately, I can't find. There are a few items that refer to the "OEM".  For some reason, I think it's the drivers, but I'm not computer very well informed. It could be something completely different. I wish I could uninstall info CD (only) existing Liteon I can find - and reinstall everything from zero (even do this? Please, tell!). Then... I thought that I contact me Liteon and ask for the drivers. It's at least a Start.  Could you tell me if there is something else I should do or review.
   
  My system info: I have a (Compaq Evo) Windows 2000 Professional SP3 XP. For what it's worth-(if this is important) it's a NIC PCI 32-bit, Intel Pentium 3, 700 MHz, 128 MB total memory, 20.0 GB hard drive, CD-Rom drive, CD - RW drive, 56 k Modem and 10 / 100Mb... (whatever the devil what is). Microsoft Update is in place and worked (automatically), and my system is "up to date" as far as MS is going. Help, please!  I don't know where to another look or what else to do. Please, please... Please advise.

  Whenever I try to run the job, I can't to the last mile – creating the "virtual office" based on the virtual hard disk I give WS12.

  So, here's the two-part question:

  1. do someone here... never... got WS12 VDI work with Hyper-V running in 9 VMW as a guest? In other words, have you been able to get the VDI quick start to finish on this screen mode (creating the "virtual office": http://screencast.com/t/eTQZAxq3 )

  2 If Yes (or no) at #1... Do you need to inform the software "RemoteFX 3D video adapter' inside the hard drive prototype virtual in order to do? (If Yes, how do you that?)

  to question #2, I turned on "Accelerate 3D Graphics" in the definition of comments, but it does not seem to make a difference in the Comments anyway.

  1. my problem was that I had not allocated enough memory to the VHD prototype. Apparently it takes 2 GB memory when the value initially in Hyper V. Who did the trick.

  2. Furthermore, I didn't need the video card 3D RemoteFX in the prototype of VHD. It seems that it is a nice to have, no NEED to have.

  I'm off and running.

  He told me that he and his 'business' received my computer error messages, and that we should "follow the simple steps to get rid of these problems.
  He told me to go to the computer management console and find the 'filter' in the display options, but being an avid user of XP, I know there is no such thing.
  He then told me that it is an effect of a virus that "we need to follow the steps to get rid of. He directed me to the console to Run and had me type in this web address:
  'www.XINFINITY.WEBS.com '.
  So now, things get sketchy. A free host for a supposedly serious company? I do NOT.
  (Why he wanted me to use RUN to access a Web site, I have no idea, only adds to the superficiality...)
  I went on the site, which lo & behold, very professional. There are four links to download files .exe with weird as names:
  -' Ammyy v3"(AA_v3.exe)
  -' Ammyy v2"(AA_v2.exe)
  -"Croosloop" (CroosLoopSetup.exe)
