Sony A6300 gross

I have 4 of Lightroom and it does not recognize Sony A6300 raw format.  When will be updated or it won't?

If you have downloaded converter DNG 9.6 and use it, you need. The common mistake is in the DNG Converter when you are prompted for a folder, you highlight the FILE, but you do not open the file. The DNG Converter works at the file level. If you open the folder that contains the raw files, you will get the message that you receive.

Unless you have installed Photoshop CC 2015 he won't make you good to download camera raw 9.6. The raw technology is part of the Lightroom program. Lightroom does not use the camera raw plugin. Maybe you need to watch this video again. Remember: in the DNG Converter when you choose a source file, you choose the FOLDER. But you do not open the file.

  • Sony a6300 ARW (RAW) files supported by Lightroom?

    Hey there,

Maybe this question came up to 100 times, but the only answers I can find are from a few months back so I would like to know if there is an update.

The forums say (4/5 months back) that Lightroom was waiting for an update for Sony a6300 ARW (RAW) support files. I downloaded Lightroom today (trial version) with the hope of buying it but if I can't access my RAW files... There is no need at the moment.

Is there an update? I have the latest Lightroom and CameraRaw installed.

Does anyone know a way around this?

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Matt.

This is not the latest version.

  • ACR for sony a6300 - when?

When do we get to Sony A6300 ACR?

Probably in the next update. Adobe never announces the dates of broadcast, but based on when the last version was published I suspect it will be a couple of months. Be aware that it will be compatible with the latest versions of Photoshop and Photoshop Elements.

  • Lightroom 5.7 & Sony A6300?

I have Lightroom 5.7.  This version will be able to read the RAW files of the news A6300 from Sony?

Adobe today released an update to support for new cameras, including the Sony A6300. Import my test images and everything looks normal. Congratulations to the staff of Adobe in the light of the camera on the market less than a week ago.

Regarding your comments in reply 36, I do not see how a some of them contribute usefully and constructively for the main points under discussion. That said, it has been largely a useful discussion to clarify the types of factors at play between the releases of the camera and software updates. Thanks for the ideas.

  • I have a Sony a6300 and I can't view the ARW files. Help, please!

I don't know if there is a codex of Mac for the new Sony or if I need to find a third-party application.

Here are the current Digital Camera RAW formats supported by OS X El Capitan. The A6300 isn't on this list, and you will have to wait for that Apple and Sony decided, and/or provide appropriate support OS X in an update of this document. This update will appear in the updates to the OS X App Store application.

  • How to import raw Sony A6300 files in LR 5.7.1

I use Lightroom version 5.7.1.  I sailed the Pacific in my boat and you can almost never get good internet, so I am totally opposed to the concept of creative cloud.  I bought a camera Sony Alpha 6300 and LR does not Sony. ARW raw format.  How can I import and edit these files?  LR require Camera Raw or DNG converter plugins?  If so, how to make and how to set them.  I can't seem to find on the Adobe site regarding the LR5.

This has nothing to do with the creative cloud.

Your device is too recent, Lightroom 5.7.1 does not have the ability to recognize the new camera raw format.

You can buy Lightroom 6.5 or later and import the raw in Lightroom 6.5 or later. or you can use the free Adobe DNG Converter version 9.5 or later and import the DNG in Lightroom 5.7.1

  • Cannot open. Files in Photoshop CS6 ARW for a6300

    Background:

I have Adobe Master Collection CS6.

I bought a Sony a6000 camera that uses raw .arw files.

I've updated PS and it worked fine.

I then bought a Sony a6300 camera which also uses raw .arw files.

I've also updated raw camera 9.6.1 Viewer PS.

Always it is unable to open the file.

    I need help!

The camera raw 9.6.1 seems to install ok but I do not know

    How to check this.

The latest version of Camera Raw, which is compatible with the CS6 is 9.1.1.

Adobe Announces the final Camera Raw update for owners of CS6: Digital Photography Review

So even if you go through the motions of installing a later version of Camera Raw, it will not be updated to the CS6.

To check: in Photoshop, click Help (Win) or Photoshop (Mac) > Plug-ins > Camera Raw

How download and install the converter 9.6.1 DNG would help me to work

    in Camera RAW?

If you stay with CS6, not join the Cloud and need to open Raw files from a camera (for example your A6000) that requires a more recent version of Camera Raw that your version of Photoshop is compatible with then your only choice is to use the DNG Converter and work with DNG files.

Download the free Adobe DNG converter, batch convert all the files to the DNG Raw ARW format format, then change the DNG files in CS6. An extra step for you, but no extra costs.

  • Develop slowly when you change highlights

I noticed that if I use the highlights slider to reduce the highlights, it completely destroyed Lightroom performance. I applied a "Preset" for all my images to import that (in addition to other things *) defines the highlights at-30, and I discovered that it caused my machine to take more than 5 seconds to swap between the images (clicks completely all 8 cores of this 2.7GHhz i7-6820HK mobile Lenovo P50 (16 GB of Ram, super fast NVMe SSD). Even though the user interface becomes available, it does not treatment. If I touch the brightness or any other cursor, it is very slow to respond. However, if I let the highlights slider to zero in on everything, it takes less than a second to navigate between the different images.

Other notes on my installation and things, I tried:

    1. I tried to keep a separate partition for the preview cache (had no effect)

    2. I tried all different types of previews (including the amendment of the resolution of the previews) (had no effect)

    3. I am running on a screen 1920 x 1200 (if it's just as slow on 1920 x 1080), the latest drivers video.

    4. it runs faster on my station work (3.3 GHz i7 - 5820 K with 32 GB of RAM, all on the SSD), but still slow (3-4 seconds just to go between the images)

    5. sometimes performance will suddenly get stuck being significantly worse (10 seconds to navigate between images), to the point where I need to restart Lightroom to get it up to 'speed up '. This decrease in performance and a drastic worsening random happened through four different machines, I've used Lightroom on (post above work and P50 portable computer a 2012 Macbook Pro and a Dell XPS 15 (i7-6700 and NVMe SSD)).

    6. the files are 42 megapixel Sony A7RII ARW files and 24 megapixels Sony A6300 ARW.

    7. I use Lightroom 6.7 and tried the new "use smart previews instead original for image editing option", but it didn't improve this aspect of the performance.

    8. it's on Windows 7 (although the Dell XPS 15 was running Windows 10 and I felt even more slow)

To work around it, I changed my workflow so that it is not automatic application setting of highlights, and then once I made all my changes, I select all and apply a preset that has just the adjustment of highlights, but it is quite poor (since I don't see that the output with highlights reduced I do my settings.

The question is: is it possible to improve Lightroom adjusting highlights? The other top level gross editors (Capture One, DxO just blaze through even when the HDR changes have been made, so it feels like it should be possible).

    * Other things are: bumping exhibition, the whites, the blacks setting curve tone, sharpness, noise reduction and allowing correction of lens profile

I don't see this on my end.

With your fast processor and your screen (1920 x 1200) resolution, I suggest to ensure that the GPU acceleration is turned off.

  • Camera RAW updates support?

I just got the new Sony A6300, which seems to be not supported by Apple Camera RAW. How long Apple usually takes to add new cameras? Is there a regular cadence?

RAW compatibility updates are released irregularly, but usually a few of them each year.  Take a look at the downloads page and compare the dates of updates: Apple - Support - downloads
