Sony Vaio Pro 13.3 inch touchscreen: touchscreen not working not

Hello

Suddenly, the touch screen for my Sony Vaio 13 Touch Pro works two days ago and I have no idea how to solve this problem. I didn't install anything new before it stopped working and I tried to install new drivers on the VAIO update, but it still does not. I thought that it would be because of Windows, so I've updated to 8.1 Windows today and it still does not work. "On the PC info it even says" Pen touch abd: no pen or touch input is available for this view. but this laptop is supposed to have touch capability and it has worked so far.

Help, please! My model number is SVP13215CDB. Do I need to install or update my driver?

Hi Nick,

Thank you for your answer, but I did as you said and installed this driver and nothing has changed... The search option did not show a Tablet PC settings and PC info always says "no pen or touch input is available for this view". And thanks for the compliment =) I did on site for reasons to ask this question.

  • [New Sony Vaio Pro] WiFi problem!

    Hey!

I recently acquired the new Vaio Sony Pro 13 "."

Everything seems to work admirably except for the Wifi card.

In fact, the card works fine in a range of 15 feet around the router.

But when I cross this beach, wifi download & upload speed drop strongly: download of ~ 20Mbps to 0, 5Mbps!

This problem is clearly linked to the Vaio Pro as the other computers in my household are not such questions.

    What I tried to do:

    > Re-install card driver intel (available on the Sony site)

    > Change the properties of the map

Unfortunately, these actions did not solve the issue...

Do you have any idea what could be the problem and a way to fix it?

    A few ideas:

    > Card vice (bad connectivity,...)

    > Global issue with new laptops Sony Vaio Pro

    > Not good map properties

    > ???

    Hoping to get some answers,

    Kind regards

  • Sony Vaio Pro stops randomly when power adapter is not plugged in

Hello. I have a Vaio Pro and whenever I don't have a power adapter is plugged in, it stops randomly at different time intervals. Before going off, I'd like to see sometimes the screen flashes a few times, indicating that it goes off.

I tried the battery on the bottom reset button, but that didn't seem to work. I tried a full system restore and it does not solve my problem either. My Vaio Care shows that my battery is in excellent condition.

Since you already reset the laptop but the problem persists, it is already an indication of a hardware problem. Please check you the bec Inbox later I'll send you a private message on what to do next.

  • Sony Vaio Pro 13 - four hidden partitions, they are good for?

    Question 1:

I bought a Vaio Pro 13 yesterday and am a little surprised that on the 125 GB SSd, I had only 65 GB available for my own data. After looking in the management of the computer disk, it shows me four hidden partitions.

    980 MB OEM partition

    840 MB recovery partition

    260 MB EFI system partition

    15,89 GB recovery partition

While I do not have much on three small partitions, I understand it as the 16 GB in size of the recovery Partition. I have not found a software backup or restore on the laptop but who actually uses this space. If I try to create recovery media, it allows me to use that partition.

    Could you please clarify this?

    Question 2:

If I have a few programs such as Word, Outlook, Chrome, Spotify and Evernote/Dropbox running in the background (without huge image or video files) my RAM is 3 GB to 4 GB. According to me, that this doesn't give me much buffer for the future. inflicts Windows 8 fill the RAM with irrelevant information that can be released when required? In the Task Manager, it shows me that 1 GB is in standby mode, used for cached data and code, but which is not what I mean.

I do think that the recording of the current version and the configuration you have and what in fact the new recovery media point is possible. Support for recovery always returns to its most basic State and cancels all the changes that have been applied to the operating system running. It may be possible, but it would take a lot of research and know how not only open the hidden partition, but also to change its contents.

  • my webcam went again on Sony Vaio laptop

I have a Sony Vaio laptop; model vpceh26eg. her webcam was not working months ago. its icon went into Device Manager. so I posted a question here on this issue. in one of the responses, it was mentioned that I should stop the automatic update of the drivers and I did it.i went to the Control Panel, of devices and printers, click with the right button on the icon of my laptop it then clicked on installing device and then selected never install windows update driver.  so it's on and off the power for a while and later, it was working fine for months. but lately, this problem appeared again. It is not found by any webcam software. its icon in Device Manager is gone again. I'm tired of this problem. How can I solve this problem? the local dealer here said I have to get it back, but I don't want to do. I have a bunch of software and data in my laptop and I don't want to reinstall them. Help, please. Thanks indeed

You have a laptop computer with webcam built-in, all pilots are obtained on the Sony support site and no windows update.

And if you visit Sony support, specific to your model, you won't be doubless find the webcam application available for download
