Sorting files during import

I import now a large number of files from my camera, and I will also change the name of the file to name + nr starting by the older file. BUT Photoshop start with the last file and I can't find a way to change this?

I wouldn't Rename on import from the camera. I would first create an album for the import package, use the option to sort your images in chronological order (which would also work with 'command').

Images are displayed in the order you want, select all and use the file > Rename option.

5 Lightroom is self-development of raw files when importing on the canon 7 d but not on the mark 3 5 d from canon. I prefer to do individual files in the develop module.

Go in the preferences, select the presets Hit "reset all develop factory settings." You probably accidentally set a default to develop for the 7 d. Also, make sure that you do not have a preset selected in the import dialog box.

  • Why Premiere Pro keep compress my files during import?

I'll try to import a file of 1960 x 1080 but after I had finished editing and went to export, he had the tablet at 720 x 480. How can I just get to the point where he used to touch even the size of my original video? It is a MP4 file that I am trying to import.

That could be changing the resolution, not compressing.

And Premiere Pro does not do that either.  It is almost certainly observer/operator error.  In other words, you don't know what you're doing.

Fortunately, Adobe has set up a decent resource for help with this exact situation.

  • Changing properties of the file during import to Premiere Pro

    Hello

Strange problem I encountered: images taken with my Canon 6 d fixed changes in 1920 x 1080 / 30 fps at 1080 x 720/25 fps when they are imported into Premiere Pro (CS6). My PP settings are: Digital SLR, 1080 p 30.  Can someone help me understand what is happening here I have triple checked the camera and PP. settings This problem is forcing me to produce videos SD that I shot in HD – a real frustration!  Thank you.

Thanks for your reply, but I just found out that the mistake was made before importing files in Premiere Pro. Initially, I had these files stored in the Mac Photos and did not know that by dragging to the desktop would change the file properties. To keep the original properties, you must go to file > export > export original unmodified.

  • How is it LR4 changes the color temperature of the files during import?

    Here's what happens:

I work with a connected to a card reader Sandisk Sandisk 32 GB card.

    I'm working on a MacBookPro.

I have the latest Lightroom 4.1

I start the import of in LR.

For example, FILE - IMPORT PICTURES AND VIDEOS

And then I import on my external hard drive.

The buggles my mind thing: at some point in the import, LR changes the color tempretaure of some of the files!

Thus, the first 63 first imported images are at the right temperature and then everything else is false.

I went and open files on the FINDER, and all CF files are at the temperature of accurate color on the card itself.

So, what the hell is going on?

If someone saw, I'd love to hear what you have to say.

Yes, I think that you have changed the default settings - specifically for a certain ISO setting, which is one of the options - (perhaps inadvertently), so change your ISO has triggered the new default value of development. If this isn't what you want, you can restore the default Adobe development settings: use the same image to develop, select develop > set parameters by default from the menu bar, then click on "restore default settings Adobe". This should stop the problem does not happen.

  • Why PE10 uses the incorrect date format when it creates the files during import?

    Hey,.

Since I upgraded to 10 EP, I had a problem with the date when the import format.  I have always used the format yyyy-mm-dd when I import my pictures, and this is the format that I choose when I import using Organizer, but it invariably creates files in the format yyyy-mm-dd.  It becomes tedious to rename folders.  Any advice?

  • Size of the file during import?

    Hi all

What is the maximum file size that you can import in FDM 11.1.1.3?

    in the network/Inbox?

    Published by: tyson33 on December 14, 2009 11:16

    Hello

When you use the "Select Inbox" there is no limit. The limit is relational to the amount of RAM and other processes on the server.

When you use the "Browse" button where you download the file first, IIS has a default limit of 25megs.

  • Auto check all applications during import

During a long import iTunes comes up with several issues that need to be automated.

    Examples

    (1) wma files are not imported. Instead, iTunes asks you if it should turn them in to m4u. So, after 3 hours of the import, the import stops at halfway, and I have to click Yes to import products. It's embarrassing. Of course, once it finished, I copy the converted files m4u (now 6 x size), throw the original of the AMM and replace them with the m4u, so it will not happen again. (if probably applies to other types of file, also, perhaps wmv, etc, I don't know)

    (2) Audible files are not imported without writing the email and password individually in each file. I've now separated all sound files out while this happen dozens of times in the middle of an import. This can be automated by adding an email and a password somewhere in iTunes from where he might catch the details, instead of asking for it.

Yes, there are somewhere in the settings where I can disable these applications? Or automatically agree to each of them (Yes to all requests or something)?

Or, as happens in the Solution Explorer, after upgrading from Windows XP to Windows 7, all requests are pushed up to the END of import, instead of dot as they turn to the top?

N ° as with your audio content, a solution might be to organize your files .wma outside of the folder you are importing. Then import your .wma files at a later date. MediaMonkey is a nice tool called Auto organize files which, with the right settings, can be used to move a subset of your media to another path, but always organize sensitive artist & album folders. Alternatively, iTunes shows the folder where you have control over which of the formats of files are imported. Also note that when iTunes offers to convert .wma files imported it will do by using the currently selected import settings. If you have 128 k WMA, you probably want to choose 128 k mp3 or aac format target to avoid unnecessary bloat.

  • Import and renamed photos during import in Photoshop elements 13

    Hello

I have a bunch of photos and photo on my computer folders, in bulk inside a folder "images". Many of them renamed by myself (by hand, with texts of ads..) before making the acquisition of PSE13.
I did the acquisition of PSE13 in order to restore order in all of this.
My question: is it possible to import all this mass of photos and during import, rename pictures with, instead the name: the shooting date and time (yyyy. Mr JJ HHhMMmSS)
I would also like to be able to put my old names of photos in the metadata in the "comments" box

You have an idea how I could do this? And if PSE13 is able to do this?...

Thanks in advance for your help,

    Good day!

What you want is available only if you are importing from a card reader, not your drive.

-You can rename the model YYYY MM DD or more personalized in the advanced import dialog box. Scroll down completely to access the models 'custom '.

-by default, the original name of the file is stored in the metadata (check that the box is checked).

-You can even import into a date-based folder tree (folders named YYYY MM DD).

So, you could fool the Organizer by copying your folders present on a large map and import from "camera or card reader.

Creation of a date based folder tree is possible at the same time. You can import in several batches if the card is not large enough.

What is the destination folder that the date be underneath?  In the top right it says users who suggests, you try to put the photos on top of your username instead of under your username.  Maybe that's the problem.  So change your folder in the drop-down list at the bottom right of what it should be rather than users, and if you're going to show us the destination of your photos at least scroll through the list of folders down right so that we can see which is the white highlight.

The option to rename files is missing when you select up in the center of the import dialog box.

is for importing photos from camera or a memory card.

Renaming files is available only when you choose or .

It is the same for the other options: and .

  • definition of the background image of the file during execution

So, I have another issue to resolve and my migration to 11.5 will be complete.  In the previous iteration, the project has been able to set the background image from an external file dynamically during execution.

After the migration, it seems that the projector keeps the canonical path to the image of Member and looking for him there. In other words, loads of projector, but a file finder opens, saying: he cannot find the background image in the path of the source machine Director.  Setting the name of the file in the jargon does not stop this behavior doesn't happen.

I tried to re - import the image as "link to external file" (which had the same results) and flat import (which does not load the file during execution, even if I put the file name in the jargon).

Anyone know how I can do this, the value of the background image of a file during execution?

    Thanks in advance!

I do it all the time.  Just make sure that the image is in the same location relative to the projector that's director file.  The easiest way is of course if the image is in the same folder as the .dir file, in which case, you'd sure as to put it in the same folder as the projector, and you can set the name of the file using:

Member ("someExternalMember"). FileName = the moviePath & "filename.jpg"

You can have it in subfolders as well if you want to make sure that the relative location is the same.
