Sorting images in order of my own choice.

How can I sort my photos into an order of my own choice to see in "slide show? Is there a way to drag a photo library and dropped in the order I want in another file or folder which can then be transformed into a slide show in the same order that I've placed in the new file or folder?

Sorry for the report, which is not a function that has been programmed into the system.

  • I can't figure out how to export images in order

    In the grid, I have moved images in order that I prefer. Now, I want to export to a folder on the desktop in the same order, but cannot find a way to do it.

    When you look at the list of images using Windows Explorer or the Finder, these browsers have sort orders based on different columns. You can sort by file name or type of file, or by date, etc. But you cannot sort by exported. As DJ explained, it would be necessary that you name your exported images and specify a sequence number. Then other programs and file browsers will be able to classify them as you wish.

  • My Windows Live Mail is sorted in alphabetical order by family name, but now, when I add a new contact, it is positioned at the top of the list instead being placed in the right place alphabetical.

    My direct mail is sorted in alphabetical order by family name, but now, when I add a new contact, it is positioned at the top of the list instead being placed in the right place alphabetical.  How to load the list of contacts to organize all contacts, including contacts, in alphabetical order by family name?

    E-mail address is removed from the privacy *.

    My direct mail is sorted in alphabetical order by family name,

    It is not clear what you mean by this statement.

    • There is an option in the contacts window in kind (names) of > name -is that what you mean?
    • Or that, when you open / switch to the contacts window, you see a list sorted by last name?
    • Or that when you click on to... or start typing in the to... box in a message composition window, you see a list ('contact selector') sorted by family name?

    Only in contact with an e-mail address will appear in the "Chooser". The list includes names in alphabetical order. For contacts with a first name and a registered name , the list will be sorted based on the preference granted to sort by in the Contacts window. Contacts with multiple email addresses will appear once for each address with the address in brackets after the name.

    Name is a special value built by WLMail contact data fields. It will consist of the first match found during the analysis of the data fields in the following order:

    1. Nickname
    2. First name + last name (in the order specified to sort by in the Contacts window)
    3. First name or last name
    4. Company
    5. E-mail address
    As you start typing in of... box, WLMail will present a list of matching entries in your contacts list. You can start typing username, first name, first name, company, e-mail address to a contact or any significant word in the Notes field for this contact. So, if you type bil, for example, the list that appears will include
    • any person whose nickname starts with Bil, e.g. Billyboy
    • any person whose first name begins with Bil, e.g. of Bilbo Baggins
    • anyone whose first name begins with Bil, for example Jim Bilko
    • everyone whose company name starts with Bil, e.g. Billingsgate Market
    • everyone with an address of e-mail from bil bil or just after a period or the ' @' symbol, for example "the bilbo at hotmail dot com" or "jim to billingsgate dot com" or "jim.bilko at hotmail dot com.
    • all categories whose name contains a word starting with bil

    If this does not solve your problem, please post your question in the forum dedicated to contacts in Windows Live Mail.

  • 'Sort by alphabetical order' folder 'Favorites '?

    How I 'alphabetize' my folder 'Favorites '?

    Hello

    1. don't you want to sort by alphabetical order of favorites in Internet Explorer or Windows Explorer?

    Alphabetical order of favorites in Internet Explorer.

    a. launch Internet Explorer. Click on the "Favorites" menu at the top of the screen, or click the 'Favorites' button to open the Favorites bar on the left side of the window.

    b. click the 'Favorites' tab on the left side of the window if you have clicked the button 'Favorites '. If you click the 'Favorites' menu at the top of the screen, skip this step.

    c. right-click on any entry on the list of favorites, and then click "Sort by name". Your favorites are automatically in alphabetical order, with that appears first on the list of folders.

    d. click the 'Favorites' button again to close the Favorites pane if you wish.

    Alphabetical order Favorites in Windows Explorer.

    a. click on 'Start', click 'My computer' in Windows XP.

    b. navigate to "C:" and the "Documents and Settings" folder in Windows XP.

    c. browse the folder named after your Windows user name, and then find the folder 'Favorites '.

    d. right click in an open area of the folder and click on ' rearrange icons by ' and 'Name', make sure that the menu item "Ascending" is also selected.

  • Windows Live Mail will not sort in alphabetical order 'To' column

    In Windows Live Mail I can click on the header of column and sequence or sort by alphabetical order of most of the columns, but for some reason, it will not sort in alphabetical order the column 'To '.  Some names are grouped, but a lot of seemingly random order occurs.  How can I fix?

    Hi Scott,.

    Unfortunately, this is a known issue that has yet to be resolved.  See http://www.windowslivehelp.com/thread.aspx?threadid=7cd886b5-6726-4ef8-833d-6d19819be8ec where it is attached the answer someone of Windows Live (not only a poster regular like most of us) almost exactly the same question as you - and the answer is quite recent.

    Here's another thread in the same pregnant responded with an MVP who admits that it is a bug that has yet to be resolved.  http://www.windowslivehelp.com/thread.aspx?ThreadId=c601b584-4448-4564-9702-64065e86b1d5 although this dates back to January, apparently he still is not resolved and requires the latest version of the product as well (so that they really have trouble with this code).

    Sorry it wasn't the answer you wanted to hear, but it's something that you just need to treat before iti is resolved.  I would put a bookmark on the page of main support of these links (click back until you get there) and periodically check to see if a solution has been found (or perhaps a work around).  In fact, any questions about Windows Live Mail, you would do well to post in this forum instead of here because they are much more experienced with it, aware of the problems and solutions and quite simply have more people with greater expertise on this product if you are likely to get a better response and more quickly (or even find the solution by searching on the solution and then site forums).

    Good luck!

  • Sort by alphabetical order of apps in app auto list.

    I can auto sort by alphabetical order of the applications in the list of apps?

    Hello

    -Are you referring to the apps in the store Windows or applications list?

    Apps in the Windows store may not be converted. The list of the apps shown in applications are classified in alphabetical order (you can't rearrange it).

    Apps downloaded on the computer and displayed on the Start Menu can be reordered. (cannot be done in alphabetical order). You will be able to group together them and move it accordingly. http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows-8/start-screen

  • How to sort items by order

    Hello

    I tried to sort the items on each page in InDesign according to their z-order using the indesign SDK. I used the "GetItemsOnPage()" API to retrieve items on each page. However, in this way, while I get sorted in order relative to each other in the same layer page elements, but the elements are not sorted in the order relative to each other through the layers.
    So, let's say I have have the following:

    3 layer on top of layer 2 on top of layer 1

    Article 1 on layer 1

    point 1.A on layer 1 (but 'delay' point 1 on plan Z-order)

    point 2 on layer 2

    point 3 of layer 3,

    then, when I use the GetItemsOnPage() API, I get the page items in the following order

    Article 3, section 2, point 1, point 1-> Note: order of point 1 and point 1 is correct, as 1a is behind 1. so in the same z-order layer is preserved

    Instead of

    item 1 a, point 1, point 2, point 3

    I wonder if there is a way where I can get the page items in the order in which they appear on the page regardless of the layer in which they are. I tried to use the 'Fix' utility to see if that can sort the UIDList but it did not help either...

    I'd appreciate any help in this

    Thank you

    Sam

    ========================================================================================== ===

    Here is an excerpt of what I use...

    Find the pages in current spread
    UIDList pageItems (currentDocumentDataBase);
    Int32 nPageCount = spread-> GetNumPages();
    for (int32 nPageIndex = 0; ((nPageIndex < nPageCount) & & (nErrorVal == 0)); nPageIndex ++)
    {
    Browse all objects on the page
    spread-> GetItemsOnPage (nPageIndex, & pageItems kFalse, kFalse);

    / / The pageItems I get using the APIs above are not sorted in the z-order on the whole of layers. (in the same layer they are returned in the correct order)

    Int32 nNumOfPageItems = pageItems.Length ();

    ....

    ...

    Use ArrangeUtils arranger.

  • Sort by alphabetical order of TOC in RoboHelp 8

    Hello

    In RoboHelp X 5, when you auto a table of contents, books and pages are displayed in alphabetical order by default. Does anyone know how to sort by alphabetical order of the table of contents in RoboHelp 8? I have a big enough OCD and I want to be in alphabetical order every time I have auto-créer before publication. Is this possible?

    Thank you!

    Solved with the help of Adobe.

    The icon shows AZ is not an AZ - toggle ZA. Its two States are sort by name (A - Z) and custom sort.

    Automatically create a table of contents are always based on the custom sort order.

    So if you want a table of contents A - Z, you need Custom sort files in this order. If you do this, then switch the icon will have no effect because your custom sort is alphabetical and, of course, sorting by name is alphabetical.

    Obvious? No, I proposed the text of the ToolTip is clearer and the icon should change according to the State. Please submit a feature request yourself as the more people who report a bug or request a feature, more likely, he will be executed. Please follow this link.

  • Sorting images in a PSE11 Album

    Hi all

    in PSE9 I could sort a single date of the picure and then moved to photo album. It was very convinient for me. Now I upgraded to PSE11 and I can sort the images in an album or by order date or album. But if I sort by date, I can't use it at the start and only change the locations of unique photos later. If I want to do my own order, I need to start from scratch, using the original order of the album and the engine almost every photo.

    I did not miss anything or is this really just went PSE9 feature?

    I hope that the next version of PES will bring more easy sorting features in albums... alphabetical sorting in particular.

    My solution to be able to start a new order 'custom' one of the default options (new, old, import...) would be:

    -Select the album and use the new order of departure, "the most recent" eg.

    -Then to create a new album (click the sign '+' and fill in the dialog box that appears in the right panel)

    -Select all (Ctrl A) files of the old album and drag them into the newly created album.

    -Choose album, select 'order of the album' and start to move the files.

  • Sorting images bad photos

    I just got back from a trip and downloaded photos to Photos of two devices (a Sony camera and an iPhone 6) on my Macbook. Having had problems with sorting in the past, I made absolutely sure set the time on my camera before the trip so that it matched my phone; This, I thought, would make sorting by effective date on my computer. However, when I have the mix of photos in an album and select ' View > sort > keep sorted in old first of all, ' my photos usually reorganize in chronological order, but not totally. Many are in disorder, and although I don't see a pattern (again...) it seems that the pictures of the various devices are grouped a little. If I check the file dates (click on the image, command-'i' back the news), I see that the dates, hours, and years are all correct, even if they are supposed to be sorted by date are not.

    I've included screenshots of 3 photos side-by-side after the sort, with visible info. You can see that left most is June 4, in the middle of June 5 and the right to again on June 4. Ideally, they would be sorted to the left, right, middle. Note: the Middle took on the iPhone and the other two were taken with the camera of Sony.

    I assumed that the application must be sort on another date that contain the files, but before I start dragging them manually in the order of the good date, ideas on how to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated.

    You was imported from the Middle photo at the same time as the camera of Sony Pictures?  While you were still at the Japan? Or do you you import photos in a different time zone, with the time computer system set to a different time zone.

    Photos will perform the device date as a date in the time zone that is currently set for the hour computer system.

    The photo of the iPhone has an affected site and Photos maybe treated this picture differently. Maybe she had been imported ahead of other photos in my photo stream?

  • Sorting images

    How to sort the images by using the star. Whenever I select an image and note the image, it moves the location of the image at the end of the film and I have to look through all the images again to return to the situation in the film strip.

    There is no available coast to stars sort.

    You can filter by side to stars, which is different from sorting. You must use the filter bar to do this.

    The pictures move until the end of the film strip is because you set the sort order on something that causes this, you can change the sort order to the capture date. Use the menu command view-> sort

  • LR is more sorting images by capture time

    Good afternoon

    I have been using Adobe Lightroom 2 with Photoshop CS4 without any problems.

    However, recently I got problems with the order in which to store my images is LR.

    I work in Raw and always start LR. From there on, I open my image in Photoshop before making any adjustment and then by saving in 16-bit PSd or Tiff.

    On the first save the format tiff/psd file normally resides in LR - IE next to the original raw and virtual copy. But now, when I come back to changes in Photoshop psd re-recorded file is moved to the beginning of the Lightroom library. The area around the image is darkened and against it, it has a message 2 0' and the phrase 'the photo is part of a stack.

    I don't understand why he did this and I do not voluntarily battery use. I want to just my images on screen, next to each other for ease of use.

    All my photos are sorted by capture time and even if the files in question are the good time he still does not stop Lightroom to place upstairs, out where it should be.

    It is not a huge problem, but it's quite annoying when you have thousands of images in your catalog, and he has never done before. I restored LR for the default settings, but it did make a difference.

    Please can someone help.

    Right-click on an image in the folder or the collection and select stacking. You have the option to expand or collapse the batteries and also the ability to stack automatically during capture . With auto tack stack by capture time , you can select the time range for auto stacking to apply. It sounds like you have battery auto by capture time together. If you do not want to pile up time at all then this set to 0 seconds.
