  In newer versions of LV, you will find a 'write in the spreadsheet file' function which performs the task of the two functions to the right of the block diagram, but the version reported is more flexible IMHO because it allows to add easily the headers and footers...

• The server reboots required when the data source is changed?

  Whenever I create a new Data Source, or change the Source of existing data from the server asks for the restart after clicking on the button "activate changes. Is it necessary every time when the DS is changed?

  I think it must refer to a particular data source restart not restarting the server. What that does show when you click on reboots and view changes in the upper left corner of the Weblogic console.

• Bug charger picture when defining data source dynamically

  I scanned old posts but don't see any reference to the problem/bug with Image/SWFLoader class.
  
  The problem is that when I insert different images in the same instance of the Image the Image instance does not empty the old bitmap data when the source is changed. For example, I have an application with a display of the Image making of .jpg whose names and source are in a list. A user clicks on an item in the list and the image is loaded into the instance of the Image (source property is set dynamically). What is totally unforgivable, he has the sense to use the same bitmap data if I reload the source of the image.
  
  No there is no way to get the Image class to empty its bitmap content?
  
  The only solution I can think of is trying to remove and re-instantiate the example Image when the user selects a new image to display.
  
  (BTW, I tested the above in Flex 1.5 and, of course, the old class Loader completely eliminated the old content when loading new content - just as it should be in Flex 2.0!)

  I found a way to remove the bitmap data from the loader on the blog of GSkinner:

  The trick is to access the bitmap data and call the dispose() method to erase it from memory. Why this has not been implemented in the first Image class is still a mystery to me...

  We have an ODI interface that loads data directly on a DB2/400 data source into an Essbase cube. The routine uses a SQL Server staging area. We are summarizing the source data and transforming before members of the load in Essbase. It is version 10.1.3.5.5 ODI.
  
  We would like to remove the zero lines created after the sum. Is it possible to do so within the same interface? We understood that we could accomplish this by dividing the interface into 2 parts: 1) load the source data in the staging area and 2) load data from the staging area into the target. We wonder if we can take advantage of the existing interface and somehow add a filter to the target data source.

  We traced the issue to a new data source that has been added were we found that along with the entry of jndi name expected in the jdbc xml file, there were two empty entries:

  The data source has been removed, consoles restarted, the re-created data source and the problem happened again. To get through the issue, had to manually remove empty tags in the xml file.
  
  We have created 2 new sources of data, and it happened only on the spot. The same data source each time. In addition, this question moved not when these changes have been made in our regions of bass (development, qa).
  
  The version is the same in all three regions.

  Yes, it's a common problem documented in the Oracle documentation:
  WebLogic Server: Get ' weblogic.common.ResourceException: is already bound ' exception with name JDBC JNDI (Doc ID 1154250.1)

  The only solution is to remove the empty value entries.

  When I try to create or data source in Windows (regardless if user or system data source), and then click 'Test connection', I get this error:
  * [SQLAllocHandle from Microsoft] [ODBC Driver Manager] drive on SQL_Handle_ENV failed *.
  
  TNS name is correct, tnsname.ora is correct, the user is correct.
  
  I have the driver for an OraClient10g is installed on my machine.
  
  I'll reinstall this package? Other things to do to fix this?

  Hi Stophen,

  Numbers treats each line as a related data and keep lines together when you sort. If you had each column in a separate table you could sort independently.

  The only differences are: code is pasted in the {} instead of {Page} tab, and of course, the name of the database, the columns are changed.

  I added bb.data 1.0 import statement in the file .qml, the .pro file was also changed according to the tutorial. Path to the database file is correct.

  You have an idea, why this is happening?

  New screen grows without any problem after clicking on list items. But when I add the following lines to listPreview.qml, application stucks selection list item and nothing happens.

  It looks like I can not query the DB for the second time commenting on the DataSource {...} of listPreview.qml pushed the new app screen without any problems.

  What I really want is:

  N ° bad idea. The physical layer of the RPD should show what the physical source. So if it isn't a DATE, don't pretend OBIEE is it. For the exact reason that you now - tap you are pregnant OBIEE to write some SQL magic to cast the data type, without even say things which is the original type. OBIEE will not interrogate the metadata in order to check the data types in the source, it will rely on what you tell it in the physical layer.

  You could use an inline view in the physical layer and make your trunc here I guess. Better, as you've already identified, is to store the date as a date if this is going to be a key column to reach.
