  1. don't you make changes before the show?

  If you have any non Microsoft software installed CD/DVD burning, then uninstall them and check the result.

  I really need help!

  The noise seems to have stopped working all of a sudden. I do not use this computer which often and have installed a new software, devices, etc. And no, it's not on mute and the its (Ctrl + Esc) is enabled. In Device Manager, I have subsequently appearing with no exclamation point on any one of them. I do not use speakers.

  Sound video and game controllers:

  -Legacy Audio Drivers
  -Devices of Capture video legacy
  -Media control devices

  I double-clicked on the SigmaTel and indicates that the device is functioning properly. I double-clicked on the properties and it is listed as a default. I tried to see if I could update the drivers but troubleshooting seemed to be looking on my computer and I got a message saying that he couldn't find something more recent.

  Then I went to the Device Manager and selected speaker system. It is said that no drivers are installed for this device. Is this normal? Again, I have tried the update hardware wizard and received the same error message not being able to find a newer driver. Should I try to download a driver from the Toshiba site somewhere?

  Try to remove SigmaTel C-Major Audio in the list and use the hardware in Control Panel. Let the system to reinstall the sound card and test it with a few music CD or mp3 files.

  If nothing is done it please check all settings in the Volume control options. Don't forget option WAVE is not set to mute. Also try to test it with a helmet.

  I bought a HP Pavilion g6 (Windows 8) 8 months ago and I must say; This is a great buy. But recently (last month or almost) the sound did not work when starting. The sound says it goes (the volume mixer), but there is no sound. After you open the mixer volume a few times and it will crash every time. then the sound comes back. Is there any fixes for this? I already refreshed the PC several times and did a factory restore twice.

  Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both

  Highlight the word, right-click on it and select "search... "with the white line that represents all that is the word.  It will pull up from the definition in the dictionary.
