Sounds of voices in the song ' registered on '?

I record my voice on an audio track, but the issue I'm having is that my voice doesn't sound as if it were a part of the song. It's really hard to explain. Basically, you can say that I have recorded my voice on the audio track. It is not really seem as if it was a part of the song. Is there a type of editing, I can do to make it sound like better? I'm sorry if you don't know what I'm saying. It is very difficult to explain. I am very new in Soundbooth. Thanks for any help.

"Confusing."

By that, I don't want your question is confusing, I mean anywhere you use to record your voice, disconcerting needs eliminate (even slight) echoes and background noise.

I had a neighbor that has converted a bedroom of her home in an audiobook recording of room. He used the "egg crate" foam to cover the walls, and it "packed" the cavities of window with fiberglass insulation. He covered the a/c vent and wrapped the door with weatherstripping. Then he bought a studio with a foam coating quality microphone and went about his reading of the "classics". They sounded incredible. Truly professional quality.

As you can see, there are many predefined filters to add or cut the atmosphere. You can "tweak" them individually to your own tastes, but by themselves, I couldn't really recommend one and say 'this will do the trick. "

You really have to experience, but it is better to start with a voice recording that is as close to a studio you can get.  If you are going to seriously pursue this, it could be a good investment to buy foam and set a room to 'clean up' the recording. It will make you save a lot of time when you combine tracks of editing.

Windows Media Player 11 is no longer being on any sound, but only when I try to play a song in the library, but it is sound when I play a CD or play a video clip with the player, so the speakers & sound card are ok. The track is played physically because the small bar at the bottom of the player moves from left to right and the timer starts counting from zero until the end of the track. I am able to hear the songs in my library if I open it with VLC Media Player. I had no problem in the past, then one day there was no sound... Any suggestions?

  • When the song played with its surround, deleted song! : O

Hi all, hope you can help.

first of all, why would any1 want to play music recorded/edited and a mixture according to 2-channel surround sound is beyond me, but some people, or even can do it inadvertently.

I finished editting a few songs the other day and sent their extinction, 1 song on the guy was the main voice completely centered, without it either pan, fine through speakers/headphones, but if surround sound is turned on, the song completely disappear.

I think it has something to do with the border don't play do not what is mixed dead center, but was wondering 1. Why? and 2. If theres anything I can do as a solution fast without getting dirty with the song too and 3. How would avoid this in the future, without having to duplicate the track and pan each 25 per ride?

In fact, if it goes to your own mixture before you go around, it's a great idea.  The problem is in your mix.

Are - what you happened to record only your voice as a stereo track rather than a mono?  If so, it could be as simple as a wrongly wired connector on your mic or microphone cable entry.  As long as you listen to stereo, you'll hear everything, but as soon as summarize you the tracks in mono, half cancels the other because they contain exactly the same but in 180 degrees out of phase.

  • There is no sound when I try to play the songs of desktop PCs.

There is no sound when I try to play the songs in my library or radio.  The speakers are very well because I can play from iTunes radio on the internet and local music. I've deleted and reinstalled iTunes, restarted my computer and I know that the sound is turned on. Curiously, it seems that the song moving forward and does not in fact (the blue line streaming lights up blue when I select a song or an advance to the next song.

  • Why the "re-registered" very different songs from the original

I just downloaded an album on the iTunes store "Hits of the 1950s."  Before I paid for it I listened to a couple briefly and they sounded like the original, I remember the 1950s.  Now that they are downloaded and paid for, I played many and they are not the original songs of the 1950s.  What gives?  I don't want this album. I want songs that I remember them and I'm willing to pay for them individually.  Very disappointed in iTunes.

It is not for lack of iTunes, you don't like it.  They have not deliberately deceive you or steal your money.  From the outset, he said that they were reproductions.  What do you think it meant?  "Re-recording" means that the band returned to the studio later and made the song again.  I'm sorry, but you should have paid more attention.  You bought something iTunes has been selling, and you did not like it.  You can't get a refund for that.  If you don't want the album, simply delete the files from your computer.   Find the original recordings and buy them if that's what you prefer.

  • unknown problem using WMP 12 no sound when played the song in the folder but has sound when he played in the player

    Hi all

I have a weird problem using WMP (Windows Media Player v12).  When I double-click a song of in my library, the trail seems to play, but didn't have all the sounds.

However, if I hover over the same path and then click Preview, the pop-up, the track plays with sound.

When the track (s) do not play, all indications show the way to correctly play through of progress ' Now Playing ' screen, but no sound.

In the past, when I clicked on any MP3 file, he would play using WMP.  Now, when I click on an MP3 file, it brings just "Now Playing" and looks LIKE he plays, but no sound.

I have looked & looked for clues as to why it may be of WMP, but I can't understand the problem.  I also searched the Web for 'day' drivers in the Win System Manager, but Win says that pilots are "up to date".

I have rebuilt the DB Library (twice) by removing the DB files in from WMP to a procedure in a WMP support forum. I also went to check the audio device in Device Mgr Win (mine is one on one). Everything seemed ok.  I also changed the devices to "Win by default" to what I think my onboard audio device is called.  I thought that that can do, but it's not.

I was struggling with this since the day of the year.  Please help me solve this problem!

    Hi, Pie,

    Welcome to the Microsoft community.

Appreciate your efforts to try to resolve the problem that you have set so far. I guess that is not a problem with the driver that ultimately, the songs are playable using the media player. It could be a corrupted in Windows Media Player framework that is causing the problem. Let's run the Windows Media Player troubleshooting utility that resets all parameters to the player. Check out the link to do so:

  • Really confused on how to record voice over the music, how can I?

Hello. I have currently the adobe audition trial it just says: Adobe CC. First off I know it does not part of my question but CC is good enough or should I look for in an another verision: I'm doing the songs.

I upgraded to audacity and am confused about the simplest thing. In audacity, that I could record through my microphone and recording listen to my music in the back, with my helmet and the record like that. In Adobe Audition, it seems that I can't register unless my entry and exit are my microphone, which confuses me too (im a beginner), the only way I can save is if my microphone is my entry and exit put then I hear nothing, I save or any music I put out there.

I can hear the music if I switch my output to my headphones, but then I can't save... I am so confused I just want to listen to music through my headphones and save with my microphone, but I can't save it unless my return is my microphone. One thing I read was trying with multitrack, but when I open a multitrack session, the symbol of the recording fades and I can't click on it to save.

To expand a bit on what Steve...

Yes, the hearing is completely until you want to do and because it is a professional software, a ton more.  The problem is what makes learning much steeper than simple programs (but by limiting further).  Just to give an example, on my set up I can save 32 simultaneous sources (in multitrack) and implemented several different streams to be monitored.  With this versatility comes complexity, however, and I strongly suggest that you spend a few hours with some of these video tutorials available by searching.

To give you a brief overview of what you need to do to get started:

Go to the Session File/New/multitrack, set up for the bit depth and you want sampling rate, mono or stereo (probably stereo) and all that kind of thing, then give it a name.

Go to Edit/Preferences/Audio Hardware and say audition to use your default microphone input (you may need to go to your Windows Audio control and set up there if you mic does not appear on the list of the hearing).  Then configure the default output to your computer or the headphone speakers.

On the multitrack display, choose the track you want to record in (I'll assume that you already have a piece of music that you have open in a track) and make sure that the input source is your micro - entry is this box with the right arrow in the box to the left of each track.

Click on red 'R' to the left end of the runway to allow registration - just the track (s) you want to save, not those with the existing equipment).  If you want to make your voice heard through the computer, click on the little 'I' next to the 'R '.  It routes your input to output, but as Steve says, your computer could introduce a latency.

At this point by clicking the Red record button in the main transport controls should begin to register with reading going out of your computer.

Now, it's essential, but you have a ton of options (and a ton of shortcut keys, if you choose to learn).  Why so complex for a single track?  Simply, if you record multiple tracks at once of the external speed then you should be able to tell hearing what source put in which the track.  Once get going you, you can create a model of 'session' If you want to use the same set up every time.

Recycle than trying, but I suggest you strongly look at some tutorials for more details - and I'll second comment Steve, whatever DAW you decide subsequently, a priority purchase of an external audio interface to work around the one built into your computer.

  • How to add fullness to the song

Im having trouble adding the fullness of my voice and need to learn how to proceed with the hearing. what I'm talking about is the song looks really "airy" staggered. no initial and thick. Ive tried again Equalization and compression, but I'm not really good at home. bad list a link to the song that you have an idea of what im talking. I'm looking for a voice full of longer survey. not the background was aired on type. I need the sum suggestiovns on what to adjust such as how to compress or ideas on where it could be eq'ed ect... until this ive been able to get so that the vocal volume itself is stronger... but there's airy sounds. Ive also tried stack the tracks... as having the same voice and pan left and right 2 3... but it increases the volume... and sounds on still images.

This is a link to my page soundlcick. the song im talkin about is the one marked preview

IM using a micro tube MXL Genesis, with a presonus audiobox interface and a computer laptop sony vaio.

im not to concerned about the quality, because the room is treated, and I also have the microphone locked up in a soundproof box House.

all suggest would be useful, please explain completely tho, I also diamond waves bundle if anyone is familiar with it and plug-ins that you know that might help

Well, I should start by saying that hip hop is not a genre, that I often deal with so maybe I'm the wrong person to comment, but some ideas for you.

First of all, I wonder if your 'home of soundproof box' could be part of the problem.  Enclosing a microphone in a box (or even partially enclosing) allows indeed to sonorous voice (believe it or not) boxy - and this is something that I hear in your record.  Don't be misled by things like the SE reflection filter and assume you can surround the back of your neck no matter how - things like that must be carefully designed to allow 'air' in the system.

Secondly, EQ can help you a bit.  A subtle amount of boost in the range 200-300 Hz should accentuate the fundamental frequencies of your voice and do you a little more "mushy" sound and recording a little warmer.  The problem is the same helping hand could well make the dish I mentioned worse - another reason to consider not using the box.  Another subtle bit of boost in the range of 3-4 k should help your consonants and make you look a bit closer to the microphone.

I don't know that you need more significant compression.

In any case, hope this helps or at least gives you some ideas.

  • iTunes Gets the focus at the opening of the song from the Explorer

Hi all! I hope you can help me with my little problem. Recently I decided to spend my old iTunes audio player software, but I still prefer to open songs directly from the Solution Explorer, without using iTunes playlists or search system. Whenever I click on the song to play, it brings iTunes in short which is a bit annoying. I know it's ridiculous to sounds, but this old player I just 'received' selected song that has been reduced to a minimum at Lac, so I would not even paid attention to it. Since the iTunes player seems to have a sandbox, when I click on my song it brings iTunes in short window. I'm multitasking a lot and for iTunes, I would play in environments without "remind me" he's here. Thank you for you time!

  • Apple music shuts down during the passage of the songs with Beats

Well, then it is obviously a problem with iOS 9.2, because it has not fixed the beta 9.2, and it wasn't a problem with iOS 9.1. Last night, I upgraded my iPad and my iPhone iOS 9.2. I own a pair of Beats Studio Headphones Wireless. Every time I play a piece of music from Apple, and I want songs in the middle of a song, if I don't pause, the song plays for half a second, then shuts down and disconnects from my helmet. I also noticed this problem very rarely in the iOS 9.1, but it was only music app to another app with the sound, not just in changing songs. Please help me because it's very annoying to have to turn off my helmet and again between each song. Also, sometimes it glitches and getting a continuous noise on a song and I have to reboot my device. If there is a patch for that soon it would be much appreciated.

I had the same problem. I plugged my Wireless Studio Beats and checked my firmware using Updater bat and found out there was a (2.1.8) update. After you have installed and (importantly) not matching and rematching the beats of my iPhone, Apple music was working normally again, and I was getting disconnected when changing tracks more. Hope this works for you also.

  • How to separate the songs on 'album' in my Media Player?

Recently I had to restore my computer to factory settings.  I did back up disks for all my personal files, including my Limewire p2p files.  When I ripped the songs in p2p file media player, they all now show as AN unknown album.  I have entered the correct information for each song manually, but it still shows the all in one unknown album.  How can I put these songs back in their own files, each with its own album info?  I asked this before, but the only response I got was to direct me to add or change information about the media that did not help.  When I followed the directions of change, he put the same information on all 99 songs instead of just one, I tried to change.  I use Media Player 11, Windows XP.

It's a good question... have never used this software, but all software music packages are basically the same. BTW, I personally never use a format sync or auto program, I spend everything myself.
What is "drag and drop". Exactly like it sounds, you click left and hold the file/pic/mp3 that you want to move, and then drag to the new location where you want and 'falling' release the left button of the mouse.
Here is a tutorial on Windows Media Player... as I said, most of the music programs are quite similar.

  • All the songs I have in my media player have been moved to a file different windows media, they do not appear in the media player, how can I get them back?

My windows media player has my collection of music in it, and then one day on a month, none of the songs were in windows media player. I then looked in my documents, under 'My music' and he registered all my songs in the library, but will not be displayed in media player. How can I get back them?

    Hello

    1. what version of Windows Media player you have installed?

    2. don't you make changes on the computer before this problem?

If you use Windows Media Player 11, you can follow this link & check if the problem persists.

You cannot view, add, or delete items in the library of Windows Media Player 11

  • Noise at the beginning and end of the songs?

I get a humming sound for a split second at the beginning and end of the songs which can be heard at high volume.  The sound only comes from the left atrium.  I tried a few different pairs of headphones and get the same result, then it is definitely the Clip.

It of just a feature of the Sansa Clip or is there something wrong with my drive?

    TIA

I tried ripping the mp3 with two different programs, and it does not solve the problem.  Mind you, these are the same files of music that I had installed on my iPod Shuffle 2nd without noise.

Today I bought another Sansa Clip and it does the same thing only for the straight path instead of the left.

My conclusion is that it is an inherent problem with the Sansa Clip.  The reason why some of you can't hear this 'noise', I'm talking about is because I have the ears of a bat.

  • List all the songs?

Hi, I have a quick beginner question:

I just finished all my music on my new SanDisk Sansa clip + loading, and I've encountered a problem. In the individual sections for each of the artists, there seems to be no way to list all of the songs from this particular artist in my library. Instead, there are only folders for each album and the "Play All" option. Now if I want to play a song in particular of this artist, I have to go to the respective album folder and select the song. It works fine if I remember the album for every song I want to play, but if I don't remember, I go through each folder.

What I saw before with portable mp3 players is a way to list all of the songs from a particular artist in alphabetical order, regardless of the album sound in. Is it possible to do this with my device? I've been looking in the menus on the camera itself and on this forum, but so far without success.

    Thank you!

You can see all the songs by an artist when choosing the artist, play together, and then pressing the button at 6 oclock and choosing back to the music list. The song list will however in alphabetical order. They will be in order, based on the album order, IE. first albumm 1 (based on the number of track), the song2 song, song 3,... Finally, the second song on the album 1, 2, song etc.

Would be nice if they could be presented in alphabetical order. I guess as a workaround you could try to put all the songs by an artist in one folder, then by browsing the folder using music files. Lists all the songs by an artist alphabetically (asuming the file name is the name of the song). I guess this could become unmanigable but when you have a large number of songs of an artist. Having too many songs in a single folder can bog down the player.
