    I tried to download a 'Virtual Villagers' Limewire program (what was I thinking?) and then I had all these virus that messed up my computer big time.

    I have the error messages are:

    Host process for Windows Services has stopped working as was closed.

    The system could not find the environment option that was entered.

    When I try to install the updates:

    The change I made before all this was trying to install Limewire "Virtual Villagers" program.

    I tried to go through the files and remove the sources of the Trojans, I ran several scans Malware Bytes (each indent to 4 Trojan horses, Rpot Kits, Ad/Spyware every time) and recently tried the Windows scanner. Who found 2 Trojan horses and withdrawn. Subsequently, I made a Malware Bytes scan which found 1 Trojan and I removed it.

    I'm not able to create, delete or modify anything in the UAC. Uninstall the habit of most of the things I try to uninstall programs and features. I'm more able to control the volume on my computer with the arrow keys and Fn. My Gallery of photos will not preview more and my computer will not install updates. My computer turns off without warning a lot and takes awhile where I can turn it back on and I hope not to have it close back 20 minutes. I try to use the system restore, but it won't work. I don't have a Windows Vista disc.

    How I have difficulty to all this and permanently delete all viruses and malware?

    After the successful installation of EBS12 I see there are dozens of files of the environment being created, started by please can you me what environment the file to use for the management of the database and that one to use for the application manager?
    I want to be able to connect to the database to perform tasks normal s/n, connected as user oracle.
    and I want to be able to run different applications like autoconfig or adapcctl from the application manager account.

  • Bug with setAllowCreate of the environment

    Maybe I missunderstand something, but setAllowCreate (true) of the Environment class does not work properly. I don't want pre create the folder for my db, so I put allowCreate to true and let sleepycat create it for me if the folder does not exist. But it does not work and I didn't know any mkdirs() to create the folder in the source code:

    class EnvironmentImpl line 453:

    fileManager = new FileManager (this, envHome, isReadOnly); the exception is thrown here because there is no such thing as "envHome".

    Also, the line "fileManager = new FileManager (this, envHome, isReadOnly);" should be after "If", so if the 'envHome' does not exist, it is enabled the 'if' just after, and if getAllowCreate returns true, it should create the folder, so the 'file manager' could be instatiated correctly. I see him sth like this:

    The setAllowCreate method is intended to be applied to the files that make up the environment of the BDB I. In all cases, we expect the location of the directory to exist. See http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E17277_02/html/GettingStartedGuide/applicationoverview.html#dbIntro:
    "To use a database environment, it must first be created, and then open. To create a database environment, the location of the directory in which it resides must already exist. »

    If you want to check if the directory already exists, it would probably work just use java.io.File.exists or createNewFile, depending on the semantics desired.

    Please also check if this happens in a new profile. If the new profile is correct, you can later copy the necessary personal data of the old profile. Firefox stores your personal data and settings in a different location (folder profile) separated from its files/folder.
