Spacing when you preview problem

For some reason, the spacing in the question slides, especially with the multiple choice questions, seem to be uneven. She designs very well in the Edit mode, but when I preview the it, that's what I have a chance to see:

Any thoughts on what I can do to eliminate this problem of separation?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello

Each of the answers is in his own legend. They are equidistant. If your answers have only one line. But the legends automatically expand if you have several lines, while the space between the legends does not change, what causes the problem.

My workflow is as follows:

  • Select the "greatest" legend, in your example, it would be the answer-A, it will be the 'model '.
  • Maj add other legends of the response to the selection, use the context menu, Align, resize to the size. Now all the legends are the same size
  • Deselect the option, choose answer background D and move down to provide enough space. Tip: use SHIFT-down (moves 10px) or CTRL + down (movements 16px) to do not to disturb the alignment
  • Now select all the answers (you can draw a selection rectangle crossing it) and use align, distribute vertically.

This workflow will also provide a space where you use Shuffle answers.

If you perhaps use CP6, responses seem to be grouped into one another "rectangle", then you will first need to make this larger area using the accordion of Transform, unchecking maintain them proportions. A very annoying extra step, not the only one that frustrates me.

  • the mouse movement is not displayed when you preview the project and after publication

I missed a step when you change a demo of simulation? Here's the problem:

When I edit in the timeline of a slide, I can move the appearance of the mouse movement and change the length of its duration; I can click on "show/hide elements" for the mouse, the text caption and select box to show or hide in the slide.

All the changes reflect in preview > play Slide. But in preview > project or preview > in the browser or publish it to any format, except for the presence has changed and the duration of the movement of the mouse shows, others seem out of my control: 1) no mouse movement; (2) the pointer still displays its final position on the slide since the beginning of the slide; (3) the hidden nail box appears.

    That's happened?

I come off some defect? Where is it?

    Thank you!

Your question is not quite clear to me, but this sentence "I can click on" show/hide elements "for the mouse, the text caption and select box to show or hide the slide." is ring a Bell! Have you used the "eye" icon in the timeline panel to "hide" the objects? That is not intended to hide the version published, only to temporarily hide for editing purposes, have has too many objects on the slide. If you really want to hide an object permanently, so it does not appear after the publication or during a preview (play Slide is not a preview, is also only for editing, synchronization) you must use the 'other' "eye" icon you will find at the top left of the properties of this object Panel. Quite confusing to have twice the same button to completely different purpose (there is even a third version in Drag Drop & who still has another feature, just hide the links in the D & D).

  • Why no animation visible layered on top a movie when you preview in the browser?

    • I use the latest version of EA CC (2014)
    • Import video
    • Converted to a symbol
    • Added a controller... plays very well on his script, or preview in browser

    Then, I made the following...

    • Double click on the symbol of the video
    • Created an animation to play on
    • Everything shows fine Preview on the chronology of the coast

    This is the problem...

    • When I saw in the browser, the video plays well, but the animation I layered on top, is not visible at all
    • Please advise, thank you.

    Hi Eddie,.

I think I understand. Here's the thing: video element controls has nothing to do with the chronology of symbol - it is only intended to control the video element (this is in fact the native media controller that every HTML5 browser provides for video & audio - you may have noticed it's different in different browsers). So when you stop your video, the scenario of the symbol continues to play.

It is critical to make default controls for the video? Otherwise, I omit them and just to control video playback with the playback actions, or with your own code. With a few buttons and the code, you can pause/play the video element as well as the chronology of the symbol in same - button clicks is the best way to keep the video editing and symbol in sync.

  • [ADF, JDev12.1.3] When you rename problems see criteria and link vars used in VO

    Hallo,

    1)

I changed the name of a view VO criterion, but I'm not able to buld the project.

Error: myapp.model.vo.MyVO: could not find the referenced object. Object =VC_OLD_NAME Owner = myapp.model.vo.MyVO

But if I look everywhere in the application I'm not VC_OLD_NAME.

How can I solve this problem?

When you rename a VC, JDev auto updates all references to this VC in the application? Or I don't have to worry about it?

    2)

I renamed a binding var defined for a VO where clause.

JDev seems to auto update all references to this var binding, but the strange thing is that, in the original Version, the old name is still present (he doesn't).

    Why?

    3)

Perhaps in the future I would better take not to rename this kind of objects?

    Thank you

    Federico

    1)

JDev sometimes has problems with refactoring.

Maybe you can try to close jdev and remove .data folder in your project.

    2)

Because there is no exact reference to link var if you need to change this manually.

    3)

Perhaps in the future the jdev will have less bugs

  • Widget menu: Text disappears when you preview in the browser?

    Hi all

    I created a site and have a top-level page, with a subpage.

The site uses the Menu widget in Muse to create a menu with dropdowns for sub-pages. However, when I saw the site in the browser, the State in the top-level page menu ' Normal and 'Active' disspears functions.

He re - contains working capital, so that the browser knows it's there, but it is not displayed.

    No idea why?

And how do I fix it?

(Ive attached screenshots of the page within the Muse and then the same page once spotted in the browser)

    See you soon!

    Robbie.

    Hi Robsta,

Looking at your 1st image posted above, I say (recommended) that the 2nd blue, guide from the top (the guide of the header), should be moved to the bottom and put just below your menu... would make it on the 'master' page... it's the line header of the guide... all "under" this line is page content (a menu is not contained in the page) changes of content throughout your Web site... 'at the top '. This line is your header information and remains in the same location without worrying which page you are on and is displayed on all pages...

Now, if that fixes the problem (the blue guide that needs to move, must nevertheless be moved)... is it possible that some States 'active' in your menu have I screwed up when you changed the colors of your button? ... This would happen only if you edit the menu with the "Edit together", "checked"... I see that active state is set to gray already so just a question..., sometimes if the guide of the 'head' is not where it should be, it hides things down because he does not know what needs to be shown or not... then it's just a thought...

    see you soon,

That is how some servers operate Jo - when I used a free account on my host computer
(yonks ago :) is the type of url, I had to use.)

In regards to page does not show it is because the closure of styles in the
Head of the document is not correct.

Once which is put in, the page in IE6.

PS: You're right of course about the doctype - a correct and valid doctype
    would help certainly too :-)

  • Picture moves when you preview in a browser (was: DW CS3 question)

When you attempt to place an image in a page in DW CS3 and try to view the online placement, even if the positioning is correct using firefox, the image moves to the top of the page when you use safari.

    Any comments?

You do not have a page printed on a typewriter.  It is a web page.  Do not use the key entry as a layout device.  It does not work.  It is same for the space bar and tab keys.   Not good.

Learn to use CSS margins and padding to align items if you wish.  In very rare situations, you may need to use a little CSS positioning, too.  But it must be done with care.

Also remember that all browsers add their own default margins and padding to HTML elements.  This results in the change in browser.  You can use a CSS Reset to remove the margins by default & fill if necessary.  But these effects each element on your page.

    * {margin: 0; padding: 0}

  • Play animation, strangely when you preview in the browser...

When I saw in the browser, it plays at the outset, that I don't want that she and then plays only once on turnover. The desired effect is so he can start to grey, then when you mouseover it, red slides upward from the bottom, and when when you mouseout/mouseouthandler(), red slides down. Here a link to my file.

Put on the gray rectangle mouseenter and mouseleave on red. Given that the red rectangle is hidden when you start, you can't have the mouseenter on that event.

  • Color link when you preview in IE problem

    I use DW CS4 on a PC.

Problem: I successfully (thanks to this forum!) changed the color of links on my site (two types) and it works fine in all browsers except Internet Explorer. The main links throughout my site have been changed to (active) blue and orange (hover) and the links in my footer changed to (active) white - they are on an orange and dark - blue background (hover). In Internet Explorer my main links appear as (active) a purple color instead of blue, and the hover is orange. The links in the footer remain unchanged to (active) white. Again, hover has changed to orange.

Because I am still building the site I do not have it online yet so I can't give a link, but I enclose the code. Can someone help me solve this problem?

Always set all of your groups of links in the following order:

    Link

    Visited

    Hover

    Assets

Foot of page navigation bar links are in the right order. a: link key embedded in the htm file etc. are not.

Set a color for a: visited and a: active, otherwise they will show default browser (for example, purple in IE)

  • Printing which is held in the queue when you preview before printing is by default

I have a HP2575 while a printer on my home network.

I just installed this printer on my new laptop (running on Windows 7) and can print ok until I set mode as a default print preview in the print preferences.  When I do that print jobs themselves that is held in the queue on my laptop.  I tried reinstalling the printer but nothing helped.  Print jobs cannot be cancelled (so I have to go where the tasks spoulées are deposited to remove them from the queue).

It's weird because my old laptop (also under Windows 7) worked well.

Everyone comes through this before?  And, if so, do you have a solution for this annoying problem?

[I like well have print preview by default to check exactly what I print, for example to ensure that there is no page useless waste of paper]

I'm not really sure what is the cause.  Try the procedure described in this document to clarify what is happening.  Let me know what happens.

I then have to recreate the menu bar to see now it shows only in bullet points and not how it should. can some help becuse a sound really get annoyed me. the site is not powered at the moment but I could upload it if it would help.

    Thank you

    Hi & thanks-

No time for the problem of IE now, but on the page 'bulletpoints', these support files are incorrectly connected to your page or not downloaded to the folder expected.

    (related to your local computer)

    (not published online)

They are connected correctly on IE page except for the ajax file that is linked to your local conputer.

  • Is the content of my i-book author secure when you preview on a

I download manuals laboratory made free on ipads of the student using the preview of the ibook author function. A student asked if they can own the books downloaded on their macbook pro in the same way. Is my content secure if I use a flash drive to download the content to their computer or they will have access to my .iba folder?

  • When you preview in a browser, my pages look or align it even when in design mode. Help?

Is there any help or advice people can give me? I am VERY new to Muse and web design. However, I am not new to the design and use of Adobe products. No tutorials seem to this address, and I've been fiddling around for quite awhile. Someone please help. Also, I tried to change the size of the web site and that doesn't seem to help either. :/Muse1.JPGMuse2.JPG

Very well. Now go right out of the site I believe that your installation is. a picture from the top, then a box (shipping container), then you have the menu inside the box (menu = navigation).

So you have the navigation inside:

inside a container of navigation may be:

What you want to do is to select the navigation and the navigation container (or just the image above)

then you can align these so your navigation still remains in the middle (if you wish)

Now, whenever you do this, the container of navigation box automatically adapts to the width of 100% (which means that it will fill the page)

So, after this step you want to select only the area of navigation container

and uncheck the box appear here in red

Then in preview in the browser, that you should now see all line up properly and the navigation container should grow is more the width of the browser page.

Now, if that doesn't help - let me know and we can set up an Adobe Connect session where I can help guide you through the live stage.

    See you soon,.
