When you preview in a browser, my pages look or align it even when in design mode. Help?

Is there any help or advice people can give me? I am VERY new to Muse and web design. However, I am not new to the design and use of Adobe products. No tutorials seem to this address, and I've been fiddling around for quite awhile. Someone please help. Also, I tried to change the size of the web site and that doesn't seem to help either. :/Muse1.JPGMuse2.JPG

Very well. Now go right out of the site I believe that your installation is. a picture from the top, then a box (shipping container), then you have the menu inside the box (menu = navigation).

So you have the navigation inside:

inside a container of navigation may be:

What you want to do is to select the navigation and the navigation container (or just the image above)

then you can align these so your navigation still remains in the middle (if you wish)

Now, whenever you do this, the container of navigation box automatically adapts to the width of 100% (which means that it will fill the page)

So, after this step you want to select only the area of navigation container

and uncheck the box appear here in red

Then in preview in the browser, that you should now see all line up properly and the navigation container should grow is more the width of the browser page.

Now, if that doesn't help - let me know and we can set up an Adobe Connect session where I can help guide you through the live stage.

See you soon,.

  • Picture moves when you preview in a browser (was: DW CS3 question)

When you attempt to place an image in a page in DW CS3 and try to view the online placement, even if the positioning is correct using firefox, the image moves to the top of the page when you use safari.

    Any comments?

You do not have a page printed on a typewriter.  It is a web page.  Do not use the key entry as a layout device.  It does not work.  It is same for the space bar and tab keys.   Not good.

Learn to use CSS margins and padding to align items if you wish.  In very rare situations, you may need to use a little CSS positioning, too.  But it must be done with care.

Also remember that all browsers add their own default margins and padding to HTML elements.  This results in the change in browser.  You can use a CSS Reset to remove the margins by default & fill if necessary.  But these effects each element on your page.

  • Why no animation visible layered on top a movie when you preview in the browser?

    • I use the latest version of EA CC (2014)
    • Import video
    • Converted to a symbol
    • Added a controller... plays very well on his script, or preview in browser

    Then, I made the following...

    • Double click on the symbol of the video
    • Created an animation to play on
    • Everything shows fine Preview on the chronology of the coast

    This is the problem...

    • When I saw in the browser, the video plays well, but the animation I layered on top, is not visible at all
    • Please advise, thank you.

    Hi Eddie,.

I think I understand. Here's the thing: video element controls has nothing to do with the chronology of symbol - it is only intended to control the video element (this is in fact the native media controller that every HTML5 browser provides for video & audio - you may have noticed it's different in different browsers). So when you stop your video, the scenario of the symbol continues to play.

It is critical to make default controls for the video? Otherwise, I omit them and just to control video playback with the playback actions, or with your own code. With a few buttons and the code, you can pause/play the video element as well as the chronology of the symbol in same - button clicks is the best way to keep the video editing and symbol in sync.

  • Widget menu: Text disappears when you preview in the browser?

    Hi all

    I created a site and have a top-level page, with a subpage.

The site uses the Menu widget in Muse to create a menu with dropdowns for sub-pages. However, when I saw the site in the browser, the State in the top-level page menu ' Normal and 'Active' disspears functions.

He re - contains working capital, so that the browser knows it's there, but it is not displayed.

    No idea why?

And how do I fix it?

(Ive attached screenshots of the page within the Muse and then the same page once spotted in the browser)

    Hi Robsta,

Looking at your 1st image posted above, I say (recommended) that the 2nd blue, guide from the top (the guide of the header), should be moved to the bottom and put just below your menu... would make it on the 'master' page... it's the line header of the guide... all "under" this line is page content (a menu is not contained in the page) changes of content throughout your Web site... 'at the top '. This line is your header information and remains in the same location without worrying which page you are on and is displayed on all pages...

Now, if that fixes the problem (the blue guide that needs to move, must nevertheless be moved)... is it possible that some States 'active' in your menu have I screwed up when you changed the colors of your button? ... This would happen only if you edit the menu with the "Edit together", "checked"... I see that active state is set to gray already so just a question..., sometimes if the guide of the 'head' is not where it should be, it hides things down because he does not know what needs to be shown or not... then it's just a thought...

  • Play animation, strangely when you preview in the browser...

When I saw in the browser, it plays at the outset, that I don't want that she and then plays only once on turnover. The desired effect is so he can start to grey, then when you mouseover it, red slides upward from the bottom, and when when you mouseout/mouseouthandler(), red slides down. Here a link to my file.

Put on the gray rectangle mouseenter and mouseleave on red. Given that the red rectangle is hidden when you start, you can't have the mouseenter on that event.

  • auto parts animation when you preview in the browser

This happens even if I add the stop action to the scene during the creation of composition

To stop auto play you add stop in a trigger in second 0th or uncheck the "Autoplay" for the stage.

  • Why resize my pages in preview and preview of the browser (safari) but look how I designed them in design mode?

Help!  I've been adding images to a page and everything looks good in Design view, but when I saw the page in preview mode or in the browser (safari), the images are either displaced or there is more space between the bottom of the images and menu bar

I think I fixed it, I had a sticky footer defined.

Thank you for your quick response!

  • Web page looks good with tranparent and photographic background in mode boxes live view, but not in browsers

If someone has the time to help, I would be very grateful.   I am new to dreamweaver and I try to make a transparent Web page with columns and text box using styles.  It looks perfect in 'live view', but when I look in any browser all the formatting has disappeared.  It looks like the background with the text at the top of installed on wrapped throughout the entire page.   I was not able to understand what is wrong in the days of research.  Anyone know the answer?

Presents all first format I want and that's what it looks like in mode Live View, the second is what it looks like to most browsers.

    < h3 > what do NBCS? < / h3 >

< p > since 2004 the Bay of Narragansett Coyote study (NBCS) has developed strategies of coexistence and based management sciences for our most recent top-level predator.  Coyotes, originally a species of Prairie, have successfully colonized all parts of the continental and coastal us over the past 100 years. They reached the islands of Narragansett Bay in the middle of the 1990s. Since then the coyotes have become more and more abundant and problematic in some communities of the island. < /p >

< p > in our history of cohabitation with the coyotes people constantly tried to eliminate them by hunting, trapping and poisoning. Lethal removal worked for individual problem animals but did not work as a strategy of population control. Why? Coyotes have physiological and behavioural abilities intrinsic to control their own numbers. If the coyotes are removed they increase reproduction and numbers to rebound quickly. The trigger of critical population regulation is competition for food. As long as the coyotes are well fed (with a few coyotes competing for food) their populations will grow. < /p >

< p > we know also that the opposite effect occurs if the coyotes if the coyotes are stressed by competition for food. If there are too many coyotes competing for the available food coyotes will drop the sustainable level of these resources. < /p >

< p > understanding of this relationship, the NBCS scientists decided to study the use of the resources of coyotes on two islands of Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island. We used GPS to find out location necklaces where coyotes are spending their time. We have made the assumption that if we could identify food resources important coyote - control - coyotes defray their own numbers. NBCS called & quot; management passive coyote. & quot; < /p >

< p > since 2005 when we are caught in the trap and to collar our first coyotes on the island that we found continuously as the most important food resources of our study are provided people. This means that they are in our command this means that we can control the coyotes. If we remove anthropogenic resources (human grants) coyote numbers will drop to the sustainable level of natural resources. When the coyotes are fed only natural prey number of coyotes (mice, woodchucks, rabbits, geese and deer) will be lower and they will provide useful pest services. < /p >

< p > according to our science NBCS generated a set of < has href = ' coyotes/best' practices for Coexistence with Coyotes - 8 Nov 2010.pdf management target = "_new" > best management practices for Coexistence with Coyotes < /a > - essentially a Toolbox for safe and sustainable community management, coyote. We work with the cities in our study area to adopt the CBMPs and be the first community in the nation to successfully and sustainably manage coyotes. We believe also in other cities and towns might be able to use our results as a template if they have problems of coyote. We have barely begun to implement the CBMPs on our islands. We soon hope to have all our implementation of the CBMPs cities - only, then we will see the full impact they make on the coyote numbers and behavior problems. You can follow our progress on this Web site. < /p >

From the looks of your screenshot, I'd say it's a path problem.  Are you sure that you downloaded the CSS document when you loaded the page and that the path is correct?  It appears in your second screenshot that there is no style applied so your stylesheet is not included for a wrong path or because it is simply not there.

    Help, please!

The page in the first picture scrolls completely upward?

It seems to me that you use the part of the area of width of the browser (the part of beige in the image below) to design your page on. It's a bit thing. The width of this area is not fixed, so what you see in Muse is just an indication that there will be a 'space' on each side of the page. But it's not exactly this specific width. So try to keep the specific parts of your design in the horizontal width of the page (the yellow part), and don't be surprised if this area Blue in your page is wider or more narrow on some screens! That's why your full screen photo wil need to stretch and fill the frame with different views.

OK, so your last post, it seems the widgets are the cause of the problem. Let's see if we can understand why:

    • Have you tried to create a NEW Widget of emptiness of Composition and which fill with new content?
    • Have you tried a full download instead of only changed files?
    • Also can you check with domain host that send you to the right directory, and whether or not they have made changes to the ftp upload?
    • When you export the site in HTML format instead of FTP download and compare the files that are generated in the HTML folder, they are identical to those published via FTP?

If this does not help, it would be useful that you could provide us some screenshots of errors you are seeing, you use parameters of publication etc. (you can block-out user name and password for security reasons of course).

I think the image looks actually more descriptive than my words... When I move the first rectangle at the top of the page the gradient background disappear in the preview (on the right side of the screen), even if I can't always see in my view of creation (left). The upper rectangle is aligned with the top of the page every time the second rectangle is aligned with the first in the preview (preview of muse and preview of the browser)... Any help?

Seems that you have applied scrolling on the second rectangle with the installation of the key position on the top of the page so border when page edge is reached the second dead rectangle to the top of the page.

If this isn't the case, then please provide more details.

    Thank you
