Speech recognition in Microsoft Word
I just started using the Windows Vista built in the "Speech recognition" program and its working well except for one thing. I work everywhere (chat rooms, etc.) but not in my word processor (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Words or my internet Editor Tool). What Miss me? This button you click on so he can type in Word? I have severe arthritis in my hands in so little time, that I need this program to the top and running in Word because I am a writer and do a lot of studies and research papers. Help!
Thanks in advance

Hi StevenAshe,
· Speech recognition has worked in Ms Word earlier?
· What exactly happens when you try to use speech recognition with Ms Word?
· What version of MS Word is installed on your computer?
If you use recognition speech Ms Office 2007 is not available with 2007 Microsoft Office system programs.
What happened to speech recognition?

Speech recognition words randomly then added that I don't speak
It seems back on my breathing or other noises and interpreted as words. For example: "with this up to the application that has kept the ' just showed upward in MS Word while I was thinking of what to say next. Is there a way to prevent speech recognition to recognize no voice sounds like the words? I moved my microphone further away from my mouth and that reduced the problem, but he has not ruled out.
Hello
Method 1:
If possible I suggest you to change your microphone and check. You can also check if your present micro connections are adequate.
Method 2:
The microphone input level may be too high. Lower the input level. Make sure that the microphone input level is set correctly. To adjust tracking entry-level micro markets below-
(a) Open Audio devices and sound themes by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, hardwareand audio, then clicking on his.
(b) click on the recording tab.
(c) double-click the microphone you are using speech recognition.
(d) click the levels tab, and then use the slider to adjust the entry level for your microphone. You can also check the help on the question link - below
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/troubleshoot-speech-recognition-problems
Method 3:
You can reduce the effects of electromagnetic noise by isolating your microphone in one of the following ways:
(a) using a microphone (USB) universal serial bus.
(b) position your microphone as far from the computer as possible.
(c) ensure that cables and printers are not close to your computer. You can also reduce background noise with a reducer of high quality sound microphone. Also, remember to speak as clearly as possible and at a steady pace. Confused speech or very fast speech is often not recognized and causes inaccurate results.
I hope this helps.

Words are displayed automatically while dictating to speech recognition
Original title: speech recognition
My speech recognition works very well except for a really irritating problem. If I fall silent, it will print a series of... of... or if if if. I am very experienced with speech recognition - I used the Dragon for years and have a very good headphones so what goes wrong? If I say 'new line' it will always put a 'from' front the word I say to start the new paragraph. Help please?Hello
Are what program you trying to dictate to the breast?
If you use a third party software, then try to use Word or Notepad and check if it makes a difference.
If you already use speech recognition in Word, you can use the speech dictionary to exclude these words (which appear automatically) dictation. You can also
Add words that you frequently use that speech recognition does not recognize. To open the speech dictionary:
a. make sure that speech recognition is running and then say "open Speech Dictionary."
b. click or say add a new Word or prevent a Word from dictation and then follow the instructions in the speech dictionary Wizard.Check this link for more information:

Speech recognition in Windows 7: what MS Office Word, not wordpad or Notepad?
When I trained with speech recognition, it seems pretty well put together.
The controls are a bit different from Dragon NaturallySpeaking, but much more user friendly.
The problem is that it works well with notepad and wordpad, but don't integrate well with MS Office Word. In Word, you must dictate in a staging area, and then insert the unformated words in Word.
What a shame, it's a good program otherwise. All information, whether it is it? Is the inclussion of the Word as a usable on the horizen program? With Office 2010?

Well, I started using Windows speech recognition, and everything went very well, is a great tool for me because I can't type on the keyboard, why I have disabled hands. I happen to work with Microsoft Word 2010 on the platform of Windows seven, a project of 50 pages and constantly say I need to change the page from one to ten, or five to twenty years. My question is if there is a way to say loud and clear to the computer I have jump off page one ten, twenty to forty years and so on.

Victor,
In Word 2007 and 2010, the Page indicator is in the lower left corner of the document window. I said, "show numbers". Number 85 flashed on the Page and I say: '85. " Then the discovery of a dialog box replace opens the tab go to say something don't like, "sign more (give a short break) space 10" or "minus sign (pause) no space 20" after entering the + 10 or - 20 etc. say, "go to" ".

Before you start using Windows speech recognition, you must have a microphone attached to your computer.I suggest you to see the links and check if it helps.

Problem with speech recognition in Windows 7 and MS Word 2010 - strange window opens
I have been using speech recognition in Windows 7 to dictate in Word 2010. Yesterday it worked fine: I did a number of training records, added a few new words in the speech dictionary and dictated a part of a document. No major problems.
Today, however, when I begin to dictate, rather than insert the words directly in my Word document, a secondary window will appear next to the insertion point and text appears here, with small buttons that say "insert" and "Cancel". It's rather annoying - get the text dictated in the document, I must stop dictating and say "insert." Is it possible to prevent that from happening? As far as I know, I don't have any changes to the settings or program options to cause this. Help!
Thanks for the answer, but now I can't seem to reproduce the problem. I don't know why what started, but it doesn't seem to be the case more. Thank you.
