• Outlook Express spell check has ONLY French as a language.

  Outlook Express spell corrector does not work because the only language he recognizes in his dictionary is French! There is no option for another language in the box "drop-down menu '! I use only English!

  For spell checking, you can activate the right click in a text box and select check spelling, or by going to your options:

  Normally, you get this menu if you do right click on the word, but on the text field that surrounds the word.

  You can try to reset Firefox and see if that helps in this regard. Refresh Firefox – reset the parameters and modules

  Try to start Firefox in safe mode. This mode disables all extensions, customizations, hardware acceleration, etc., temporarily for the diagnosis and troubleshooting.   When applying for a spell check on Works 9 it says files missing needs a reload.
  I can't as it came preloaded. New laptop to 2 weeks of age.

  It came with the trial of OFFICE 2007 which I use. Spell check works OK.

  Spell check does not work on enamel, but fixed by changing to non-English chossing then English.

  Not all locales have a dictionary installed for licensing reasons.
  If you do not have the locale en-US then check that you have an installed dictionary (Tools > Modules > Extensions).
