Spider Solitaire Hardware Accelerator

Since I installed Windows 7, whenever I try to play Spider Solitaire I get the following message: hardware accelerator is either disabled, or disabled. Make sure you have the latest video card driver installed.
Then it loads, but won't play.
Any suggestions?

Hi Jez 107.

Given that you have recently installed Windows 7, I would suspect your video drivers are not installed, and maybe you're using the standard VGA driver of bog.  I had advice by visiting the site Web of the manufacterer or your graphics card or your computer to search for video drivers Windows 7.

You can also post back here with the brand and model of your graphics card and we can point you in the right direction.  If you don't know what graphics card is in your machine, you can use this guide to find out: http://www.windowsresource.net/vista/guides/hardware.php (Yes it says Windows Vista but it works for 7 also). • How do I activate hardware acceleration for playing solitaire?

Before playing Solitaire, a screen to make sure that hardware acceleration is turned on. How can I do this?

Well, I have just explained how you enable hardware acceleration.  If there is no such setting in display properties and then it is not available (or is already at full throttle, and didn't need adjustment).  If you have questions about how the game can give you this message when you cannot set hardware acceleration on your system, I recommend that you contact Support technique Dell for an explanation.  Maybe there is another way on their system to activate hardware acceleration or maybe this message appear on all systems with the game installled if is possible to adjust the hardware acceleration.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • Error: "Hardware accelerator is disabled or not supported by your video make sure card driver you that you have the latest video card driver installed and the accelerator is running.

Original title: Solitaire stop working right after the update to download

This slowed the game.  I checked the video card is correct, and hardware accelerator says it's working properly.  This started after I downloaded two optional updates, one of them KB968930.  I uninstalled both of them and tried to restore the system with no result. the rest of the message is "Hardware accelerator is disabled rooms or not supported by your video make sure card driver that you install the latest video card driver and the accelerator is turned on."  I checked these things.

Thanks for the help.  I had fixed to date through the tool and the info of the performance.  Find where it says new hardware installed, click on repair, I did and it worked.  I don't know what caused the problem, but my game index had fallen to 1 and came back up to 3.3.  Thanks for the help. The continuous solitair game give a window saying "hardware acceleration" is disabled.  In addition, the game runs very slowly.

    Ed,
If you are still having this problem then I recommend to update your video card driver.  Go to the website for the manufacturer of the video card and usually they will have a driver download section.  Also, if this does not help, then after your system specs and what version of Windows and level of service pack that you are running.

  • How to enable hardware acceleration to play solitare?

    Original title: hardware issues

When I try to play solitaire. He told me to turn on my hardware acceleration. How can I do this?

You must ensure that the graphics card is at the height.

I suspect that you have upgraded to Windows 7, so what you have to do now is obtained from the computer manufacturer site and download and install Windows 7 drivers for your graphics card, or, in the case of a desktop computer, go the manufacturer of graphics card and get the drivers for Windows 7.

If it is not all, you will have to put up with what you have, or go back to the last known good operating system, or update your computer...
