split in the report in the table pane

Hello
I read on the forum of ways to freeze the header row of a table in APEX report, so that the header line freezes and scroll data. Is it possible to freeze the header and first two lines of the report data table, similar to a split in Excel pane, but using APEX?

IE and FireFox (and probably others as well) run things in their own way. They are supposed to follow the standards, but that seems never to arrive :(

IE, from what I can see, has refused to update the collections of 'lines' in the top row not seen in the upper table, but any reference to line 0 fails because it no longer exists. FireFox treated as I expect--in other words, once deleted, all other lines climbed in the collection of lines to the next row would become the 0 line. In the end, I braked just on the destruction until after the loop and both browsers have been happy with that.

    I use BI Publisher 11.1.1.7 and I have reports that use tables, and they are spread over several pages. I wouldn't mind if the table is split into two half but sometimes on the headers. This is a table header is a line, but several lines on it and a part of the header would be in one page and one on the next page. Is it possible to apply that a table should be in a page without breaking it up?

    is there a way to create a Table 2D mode report dynamically with the method "Data.GetChannels"? ".

    I've got this starting position:

    -in the Dataportal are up to 5 groups (maybe less...)

    -in each group is a channel 'speed' and 'time', which has only a single value

    No, I want a 2D in report Table that looks like this

















    Time 100 200 Group 3-time-value
    Speed 25 30 String value in a group 3
    more channels 1 2 String value in a group 3

    I can do this by using textlists for each col, but the handling is very bad if a channelname Exchange.

    An alternative workaround blend groups temporarily to one group, but I hope there is a way to use the Data.GetChannels("Group*/Speed") command.

    Hi Martin,

    In general I would discourage you to use channels with only 1 value.  In almost all cases, it is best to store this information as a property of the channel or group.

    You can still get something like what you ask to leave your 1 value existing channels if you create columns of table which is of type "Expression", set up the table to be in a display of 'Horizontal' alignment, the value of the number of scale of lines the right number of groups and use expressions like these :

    @Data.Root.ChannelGroups (D2TabRow). Channels ("Time"). Values (1) @
    

    @@str (Data.Root.ChannelGroups (D2TabRow). Channels ("Noise"). ("Values (1), d.dd") @ «»

  • Splitting the tables in the tables more

    I couldn't find a similar problem on the forum, hency my new post. I have a number of paintings in need of splitting.

    Say I have data stored in 4 tables (or columns), appointed IGS, VGS, VDS and IDS. These four columns each have n * 80 cells, where n is the number of measures. What I want to do is to have the n number of times IGS, CGS, IDS and VDS, where each table is only 80 cells long. Thus, when displayed in Excel for example, the first row would look like:

    IGS VGS IDS VDS VGS ID VDS IGS VGS GHI...

    You can start by finding the size of you individual tables, IGS, CGS, IDS and VDS.  I guess they would be of the same size.  Divide size by 80 and that's your hand for loop index.  Use the subset of table VI and shoot 80 pieces of each array element.  Once you have the 80 item chucks you can set up another loop on the berries and build the table 1 d longer with an Array function construction with a CONCATENATE entry-level feature.  Using shift registers and another function of matrix to build to add the following line in the main table.

    I think that's what you wanted.

    Just a simple question on here, is there away from separate data from the table for a web application? A perfect example would be when you create a check box form field.     (2) in the options to manage the Table report (reports-> manage). Currently I can remove a position (like Notes of Descriptions, columns, column comments). Is there any way to customize the report so that I can remove some columns (mostly empty) according to the report and add comments as well as the column table column to a new column comments table.

    Please let me know, is there an option to customize the report.

    Note: I even tried to generate the report using the search then the report, but it does not give a full report (I was only able to generate a report on the column or table name or name constraints, not all together).

    Hi Dimitar,

    There are correct.

    for the report without data type, the data type in my relationship is 'UNKNOWN '.

    I have not changed, but now the type of data in the table are 'unknown '.

    I checked a little more on it and found that in the ADMINISTRATION of my 'TYPES' only unknown is here and the defaulttypes xml file is empty. Then I copied a new one.

    So the new design has the data type, but for that I need to generate sound still 'unknown '. I think I saved the unknown. :-(

    We use OBIEE 10 g.

    We have a Table and a chart based on the table in a report.

    Assume that the table has two columns, ID and NAME

    can we refer dynamically the value of the column NAME in the title of the report?
    for example
    the table has

    ID | NAME
    -------------
    123 | GS

    now, we would like the title to appear as

    Report for the GS

    where GS is dynamic

    Use the narrative mode and refer to the column that you want to display using @2 and place it instead of view title.

    I worked with apex 4.2 and I create normal classic report with list (named loved) select a column, now I want to update the table when the user changes the list with the new value, I can't create a dynamic action to do this, I create checkbox with the primary key and the loop for check point to update the table but I can not get the value of the list item. and for more speed, the user want to do it when changing the value from the list.

    My question
    1. how to do it in javascript and get the value of the list item and update the table with the new value
    2. do I have to use the API to create the list item so I can get the value of the report item or what.

  • Inserting into the table of the apex report log

    I have an interactive report with check boxes for each line, when I select a checkbox one according to the report and click the button submit that the first records of departure in the report are getting inserted into the table
    the lines that I select in the report is not getting inserted into the table.

    For example, if I select all 4 records in the box and click submit button 4 first records will be inserted into the table. Not the selected records.

    I put all the attributes attribute of standard report columns.

    Here is my code I wrote for the process to insert in the journal table.

    I have fixed the bothe insert and update now procs.

    Here's what I changed.

    Changed the sql report to render the rownum as the value for the column in the box.

    Edited the page processes to use the value of rownum.

    We report the invoice lines in a table with (horizontal) lines hidden line separator. When there are more number of lines, and this table goes to the next page, then the bottom line of the border of the table does not appear in the current page.   • Delete the row in the Table by using the report link column

    I a report advocating the rows in a table - I would like to for users to be able to delete rows in the table by clicking on the link in the column "ID". I thought about trying to call a process by using a javascript URL (as mentioned in this thread - Re: how to call PL/SQL process when you press link column ) but I don't know how to write the process so that he knows what 'ID' to remove from the table.

    Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Form on the report on the table - dynamically change the region title
     
			 I use a form on a report on a table to give me the standard features of add/change/delete a table.
    

    When I get to the page of the form, I want my title to say the addition or modification, whether I came to the form via clicking on the link change or create new button to the page.
    

    I thought it would be easy but I have mingled around with calculations, define objects hidden, etc., but can't seem to make it work.
    

    Is there a quick process, I can follow to get there? My first thought was to create a component hidden on my page of form and that fill the homepage depending on whether I clicked on edit or create. But the title of region doesn't seem to capture the hidden element. I put the title of region: P1_HIDDEN_ITEM_TITLE. and that is the question that I put my home page. The hidden element is fine but never gets picked up in the title.
