• Not pre-loading even Sprint navigation

  I see that many people have problems with their Sprint Navigation, but I can not find if anyone has my same problem. I'll start the application and it does not even load! It just sits there at the first homepage tell what version it is, and nothing happens. It used to work perfectly. The GPS seems to work fine when I test the phone in the interactive Tests, but I can't launch the software! What should I do?

  Have you installed programs or objects outside the official Palm App Catalog? If so, please delete these items first. Second (or the first if you have not one) I recommend you restart your device. Hold down the power button / move the mute ringer next to him switch back 3 times, then release the power button. Do not touch anything on the screen, and within 3-5 seconds, the phone will reboot.

  After restarting, try to open the Sprint Nav again. If the problem persists, try the next step would be a partial erasure by going to Device Info, tapping Options reboot and choose to delete the applications and data.

  First I did a search but the results that are returned are all either outdated (using ActiveSync) or does not work for me (CalDAV and using the client to add a default account).

  I have a free Gmail from Google Apps (e.g. @companyname instead of @gmail) business account and the difficulty to get the calendar and contacts. I had no problem adding my regular Gmail account and that synchronized all emails, contacts and calendar list, but the Google Apps account will only add to my @website account, but not the calendar or contact list.

  Can someone help or direct me to a thread that I might have missed?

  Oh, I'm sorry... I missed the word 'free' on your first post... you have free Google Apps and not paid Google Apps... As far as I KNOW, only paid accounts still get ActiveSync:

  Therefore, you must configure via IMAP, you have to first of all make sure you activate via the Gmail webmail interface. According to the KB above the BB10 Assistant should be able to configure correctly, without having to provide advanced details (after you activate your Google account to IMAP, of course).

• I googled Mozilla contact and got the "Guruaid", which took control of my computer. Are they justified?

  Had a problem with Mozilla and thinking, at first, that I had contacted an official Mozilla support telephone Center. (They were top of the list of Google). Guruaid are based in India. They were helpful and solved the problem but, in doing so, took control of the computer for about 4 hours. I was persuaded to buy a warranty of 2 years and advised to have their own and service my computer every 1 or 2 months. How can I check that they are in good faith and that there are itsafe to let them have control? I changed a few passwords, in case, but I have to do every time they have had access? Grateful for any advice.

  -Chapter i, section 2, this works
  -Chapter i, section 3, this works
  -chap 4 that works
  etc.            It works

  -diagram it works
  
  Do you know why I'm getting registration 2 x and why the first copies of each do nothing?

  Unfortunately, not... the BlackBerry Desktop Software is required to retrieve information about the device protected databases. They are not available in Windows Explorer.

  What is happening with not being able to install DM? Something goes wrong? Or you may even try?

  Good so my problem is this. I have just recently today my BB8900 and am very happy with it, except for a small problem; my contacts list doesn't seem to work, be it!

  What I mean by that is, I saved all my contacts on my media card in my old handset (like the BB uses MicroSD) as well as all my songs/Photos. The songs and photos themselves attached to the BB with absolutely no problems whatsoever, but the contacts are not just do it!

  I also kept copies of all my stuff on my PC so I tried to do it via the transfer; but when I open my files of BB and click on "other > Contacts" all my contacts appear, so copy them via hard transfer do not seem to work either...

  Then, I went to the only other option available to my knowledge and began to fill manually the contacts list. I filled out the name and number, went to 'Save' - but alas my Yearbook says still * Contacts * of no.... I'm more frustrated!

  Open your address book again, tap Menu > filters and uncheck all the filters that you have controlled.

  On the other subject, even once, you can't use your MicroSD to store contacts or import of the MicroSD card in the address book.

• Sprint Navigation Audio problems with 1.3.1

  Someone else (and I know that others have on precentral. net) noticed that after upgrade to 1.3.1 Navigation of Sprint service has all sorts of Audio issues?  When I use mine now audio will be cut, interrupting and start over or just say nothing when it is supposed to.  What has happened here and is this Palm fault or Sprints?

  This has been addressed in the update of webOS 1.3.5. Please reply to this thread if you still experience this issue.

• BlackBerry smartphones to synchronize wirelessly with your Google Gmail, Contacts and calendar?

  I just read the Blackberry email on how I can have now the two-way sync between my Gmail account on my BB and BIS to sync Gmail, calendar and Contacts.

  Just a few questions:

  (1) when I followed the installation instructions, there only a box sync Contacts.  Does this mean that Mail and calendar is synchronized to the auto?  The post office has always been instant (it arrives in my Gmail and then shortly after coming on my BB).  I'll assume that the calendar will work the same?  For clarification, I don't use Gmail plugin... I have my setting address gmail.com by BIS.

  The messages I read or delete (by selecting the box mailbox & completed) on my BB appear to be above and the same job on my Gmail inbox.  That's great!

  (2) my wife and I use our annexes to deal with each and other Google calendars, events on his calendar will appear on my BB?  Or only in Google?  With Google Sync, I could see events she has added to her calendar on my BB and Google Calendar.  I want to keep this feature.

  I had Google Sync installed, but uninstalled today because I thought it would not interfere with the new BIS synchronization.  I've added an event to my calendar of BB, but it has yet to appear on my Google Calendar.  I also added an event to my Google Calendar and it hasn't appeared on my BB calendar.

  (3) my Contact sync that has happened and now I have 3 entries for the same contact on my BB.

  I can't find any other information about these new features... has anyone else tried?

  Kent, a two way sync gmail to remove/read messages and contacts has been activated for several months, since the BIS 3.1 activation, I think that in June or more.

  Sync gmail calendar comes with BIS 3.2, which is not available in the USA or in North America yet, but will be in a few weeks. BIS 3.2 hit Europe last night (early this AM).

  I'm not surprised the bound announced does not have implementation, RIM never puts dates and details on these things.

  I want to show the user name in the navigation in apex5 bar. Here I used a pl/sql code to get the user name of LDAP, authentication and pass it to a textfeild when connect you to the application. HERE pass the user name in the text field correctly. All I want is I want to show the value of text field in the navigation bar (the components shared-> details-> entry of the list concerned list) so, what is the syntax to add the value of the entry list Labeltext field? : P101_USER did not work. Please help me on this.

  For security reasons Login page elements are automatically empty, so P101_USER will contain no value when authentication is complete. Rather than use a Login page element, create a point application called USER_NAME and store the string CN value in that. It can be referenced in the entry of the Navigation bar using the syntax of static text substitution:&USER_NAME.
