  You can change the size of icons, arrange them in a grid and set other preferences for items on your desktop by changing the options to display on your desktop. To change your desktop view options, click on the desktop and then choose the command view > Display Options from the menu bar. You can try different settings to see which ones you like, you will immediately see the effects of your changes.

  You should probably give us more info on what you are trying to reach.

  I have Web sites that display information on the courses, with the possibility to register online. We do not want the announced course when their departure date has passed, so they are automatically removed from view. In this way, we have thousands of courses by year announced without worrying that the old courses are still on Web sites.

  To do this, the PHP and a database are used. Registration of database includes the date, which is verified by the query sent by PHP.

  In Dreamweaver CM³, a big empty space appeared during high page table and a coffee table on the page.  I don't see anything in the code because of this, so I'm unable to make disappear.  Any suggestions?  It has something to do with these cursed crates thatr Miss on the side of the page?  If so, how can I make them disappear.  I wouldn't mind going back to Netscape or Mozilla, formatting, if there is still to do.

  I installed Adobe Flex Builder 3 and Flash Builder 4 Beta. That's what I did, and I checked that they were installed OK and worked and they did. Then I went in Dreamweaver and the menu items are corrupt. For example, instead of "File" in the menu bar, I "menus/DWMenuFile" instead of "Edit", it's "menus/DWMenuFile", etc.. They are all there and visible (thanks for my display full-screen), they all work, but it is irritating at best. I am running Windows Vista Ultimate 32 and have not had a problem with DW when it was installed in October 2008.

  The joys of beta, I guess. Most likely, it is a conflict of language version. New tools probably were looking for en_US encodings by default when they tried to update some components and add extensions to DW and because that which has gone wrong, they now use the generic placeholders. This should be possible you fix by reinstalling DW. Also simply try to trash your prefs of DW. The program should recreate with regard to your current system settings...

• Where the Spry Javascript files in Dreamweaver CS4?

  I'm sure this is a trivial question, but I can't find them.

  Adobe's Web site indicates that Dreamweaver CS4 with Spry 1.6. I'm trying to create a SpryNestXMLDataSet, but impossible to find where the js file is stored, the copy on my site. I see nothing in the insert Spry data set Wizard that allows me to create a nested DataSet XML. So, I can get Dreamweaver to add the xpath.js and SpryData.js files, but I can't understand how to add the SpryNestXMLDataSet.js file, or find a copy in the Dreamweaver program files.

  My first question was about the where these files are stored in the installation of Dreamweaver CS4 on my computer. When inserting an object Spry in Dreamweaver menu, the SpryAssets folder is created and the appropriate files are copied to it. Where is Dreamweaver get these include files? I can not find anywhere inside the Dreamweaver installation on my computer.

  It sounds like you have a corrupted installation. Uninstall and reinstall, but make sure that you remove the personal configuration file before you reinstall. See reinstall Dreamweaver (or the extensions Manager) fails to solve the problems.

The people out there who would use your files for their own purposes illegal/immoral can and will defeat what you can come up with to prevent duplicate your file.

  If you don't want people making copies of your files, do not put them on the internet. It is literally the only way to be sure that your files are never matched.

  This may seem a little too complex, but you "could" export your Excel files to xml format and built pages by using spry data sets.

  In this way, you wouldn't need a database and the learning curve is perhaps easier.

  Using spry and export your data from Excel to xml format would mean just update your xml file to reflect changes you need for data to Web sites.

  It's because you inserted an ordinary select form element.

  Insert a JUMPMENU and dw will do the coding for you.

  Open the F1 help, click search and type jumpmenu
