SQL Fetch data recordset provides incomplete results

I use the code below to return data to a SQL database. However, varying all the elements in the array are empty except for the last column. In aid of "Database of Variant data" does not help (all but the last column is always empty). All the columns are correctly sent 'Column of the list' to 'pick the data. " The SQL query is a simple "Select" query that should return all data in the table. The SQL table is set up with all the fields in the form of text. Yes, there are data in the table. What else could be wrong?

I'm using LabVIEW 2009 and the kit of connectivity of database and MS SQL Server 2005 Management Studio Express.

SYS_CONNECT_BY_PATH returns a VARCHAR2 data type. In SQL VARCHAR2 data type is limited to 4000 bytes, then Yes, you will get an error if the data that you generate is greater than 4000 bytes (and I say bytes rather than characters, because if your database uses a multibyte multi character set could be as little as 1000 characters)

I'm right now stable for a table who got 62 columns... I have tables that have 200 close passes: (, great, if you can throw some light on this, if your the best way and the only one to achieve?)

If you really need to concatenate strings together which exceeds 4000 bytes, then Yes you must use CLOB to store data. Oracle does not provide a native way to aggregate together in a CLOB datatype string, so why you need to write your own function.

PS: just a quick overview of my value, it will be by comparing schema1.table (s) with shema2.table (s) where table_name must be the same...

So why are you information concatenation together to achieve this goal?

  • How to create Spatial indexes in SQL Developer Data Modeler 4

    Hello

What is the procedure to create a Spatial index in SDDM v4? I found myself at an impasse because of the following problems:

    (1) retro-engineering rate the spatial index, then I need to add them manually.

    (2) adding an index does not allow me to check the 'spatial', and does not allow me to add the sdo_geometry column in the index definition.

    (3) for the registration of the spatial properties for a table, I can not choose the name of the Spatial Index.

I came across an old post (Data Modeler - cannot create a spatial index), but this post is no longer valid because SDDM V4 does not allow me to create an index without columns (definition of the incomplete index).

    Help is appreciated,

    Kind regards

    Richard.

    Hi Richard,

Thanks for your update.  I'm scared, I was assuming you were using the stand alone rather than SQL Developer Data Modeler.

I tried using SQL Developer 4.1.0.18.37 (ai2) using a thin connection and got the ClassCastException you have found.

But when I used ai2 autonomous, maker of data using the same login details 'Advanced', it worked OK and imported from the spatial index.

(I'm puzzled as to why these two seem to behave differently, as this is the version ai2 data integrated with SQL Developer ai2 maker).

I then plugged and reverse engineering the same tables (yet) in a new model.

Funny is that there is no error in the external journal this time, but the spatial properties are still not retroconcues correctly.

Is it possible that you have not set the option to import the spatial properties?  I expect that the spatial properties would be imported or that the error should be registered.

SQL Developer ai2 imported properly the spatial properties and the spatial index, when I used a basic connection and specified host, port, and SID or Service name.

Another issue: SQL Developer relies on a certain JDK / JDBC library?

Any Java JDK 1.8 should be good.

  • Help of query SQL - inner joins and the separate results

    Hello

    ASP VB, SQL Server

I have a structure of data base with 3 tables - users, albums and photos. each user has a identifier unique, each record has a unique albumid and also contains a column with the user name. each record in the photo has a unique id so that store the user name and the album in which the image belongs.

I'm writing a query that returns a list of the albums for a particular user (based on a user name query string) and who will also bring back the id of the first record in the table for each of these albums photo.

the closest I get is to run a query to select albumid albums where userid = varuserid with a join internal on the pictures table to remove the photo ID - problem I then it comes out all the photos from the photos table where userid = varuserid, so when I do a repeat region to display a list of albums for a certain user It produces a list of all the photos where userid = varuserid

I really want to return just a list of ID album based on the username variable, but also to return the first record in the table of photos for each of these albumids

I tried different combinations of inner joins, select distinct etc but no joy.

any suggestion would be appreciated as am floundering here...

First, you must define 'first' with regard to the photos. Is there a
timestamp? They are numbered inside the album? Do you really care who is
"first", or do you want simply a shot? You also neglected to indicate if they are
empty photo albums have been allowed. I assumed that the empty albums are not
    allowed.

Whatever you decide, the answer will be similar.
SQL Server tends to get better results with joins with subqueries. You will have
See such a written request more often with subqueries, and there isn't
nothing wrong with that, but I'll use a join on a derived table. I have
have not all column names (hint, hint), so I made them, but the
    Comments should help out you.

    SELECT A.Title, P.PhotoID, P.Caption, A.AlbumID, P.ImagePath
    FROM dbo. A albums
-build a table derived, consisting of photo ID lowest for each
    album.
INNER JOIN (SELECT AlbumID, MIN (PhotoID) AS FirstPhoto FROM dbo. Photos
AlbumID GROUP) AS PM WE A.AlbumID = PM. AlbumID
-details of the photo for the photo shown in the table above
INNER JOIN dbo. Photos P on A.AlbumID = P.AlbumID AND

    Hello

I want to write that a witch of the csv file contains all the measured values and the limits of my machine. So I try to give the values in post use reminder to a vi. The limits work and the csv file contains all my limits, but the measured values are all 0. I used runstate.sequencefile.data.seq.mysequence.mystep.result.numeric

I do not want to do with FileGlobals because they are values much.

Thanks for any advice for this problem.

There is probably a better way to accomplish what you want.  But to make your life easier, I'll give you the hacky solution:

    Use: Runstate.ProcessModelClient.Data.Seq.MyStep.Result.Numeric

The funny is that the report must contain all the information you want. Just, I would create an engine to convert your csv look.  If you use 2012 then this seems to be an ideal candidate for a plugin.

The search pane always returns incomplete results.  For example, to find all files that have been changed since April 8.  Several files are returned-, but two files I modified TEN MINUTES ago aren't.  And who knows how many others were not returned.

How does search pane decided not to include files which should, and why?  What is the solution to make it work properly?

If you have any Google products installed on your system, they can take over functions normally performed by Vista (in this case, the advanced search function).  Google does (and sometimes without warning or notification).  You should be able to access the Vista advanced search function by pushing the search button in the Start Menu (assuming that Google has not only taken over as well).

    Thanks for the comments!

  • By using the Service Push SQL Server data push?

    Hello

We will implement a Blackberry, a Blackberry application that retrieves data from a SQL Server data source. In fact, there will be a web application where users will enter into data (SQL Server) and the BlackBerry user should see the data at the end of each day's work with his BB app on the go. I suppose we must apply a solution of "push technology". The problem is that we do not have a BES. Is it possible to implement a solution without BES, using 'Push the Service'?

    Best regards

No problem. Registration for BIS Eval, test your push button and then you can put in production. Be aware however that PUSH does not work in the simulator of debugging can be a bit of a pain...

    Hi Torsten,

Thanks for reporting the problem. I logged a bug.

You can view together as "list of system types" directory to "preference > Data Modeler"-probably no longer exists. I guess that the setting for this directory is empty when you start SQL Dev as a different user.

  • SQL Developer / Data Modeler - lost visual on the relationships between the tables

    11 GR 2 DBMS / SQL Developer 4.0.3

In SQL Developer, using the Data Modeler I lost the visuals 'lines' (one to several, etc.) which show the PK to FK relationship between different tables from one of my patterns of relationship.  I know they exist - I'm sure it's my fault--put out something that I don't have.

I looked on the web but without SOAP.  Can anyone tell me if it is a property and (as applicable) how to re - turn on the property.

    Thanks in advance.

    Barry D.

Sorry - I found it - the relationship lines were VERY clear yellow and I could barely see it.

Article by Jeff Smith on the model configuration screen has been very useful in this regard.

    Thank you Jeff (again).

  • Virtual data center provider and Clusters of calculation ESXi

I have 5 ESXi compute clusters, each with 10 ESXi servers in them.  Can I have more than one virtual data center provider for a single ESXi Compute Cluster?

A links of virtual data center (pVDC) provider of a simple installation resources pool.  As many times as the list of resources is a list of resources of a ROOT cluster, but it doesn't have to be.

You can extend your pVDC with "elastic pVDC" and the provider of a link to several resource pools (careful with this, you can not just move resources from one to the other to release one later)

  • Language SQL Developer Data Modeling

When I installed SQL Developer Data Modeling 4.0, it came out a German version (maybe because I have German Windows).

Now, the documentation is in English, it designates the menu names of dialog boxes with English names, I find not in the product.

Thus, forum entries refer to the English properties.

What should I do to install this product with the English language?

    Hello

You should be able to find some datamodeler.conf and datamodeler64.conf in the datatamodeler/datatamodeler/bin subfolder of the folder that you installed (uncompressed) Data Modeler 4.0.0.833 in.
