  I plan to upgrade version of forms of 6.0.8.25 to 6.0.8.28 following upgrade note developer 6i with Oracle Applications 11i [125767.1 ID]
  
  and applied the Patch 9935935 after that, we don't have open forms and open the windows all three as usual, but after the third window, we are not able to get any window forms.

  I'm completely lost, as anyone would be with such a mistake.
  
  DatabaseError: ORA-01034: ORACLE is not available
  ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist

  I use a custom tool to create the Oracle database. I created a few using this tool.
  
  It was no problem. Today, I'm not able to create a database.
  
  I have visited many discussions in this forum and web on this error and tried everything said and any extra I could think.
  
  1. I restarted the server
  2. I rebooted all the Oracle services several times, in different situations, after getting the error.
  3 - thinking that its probably due to many databases residing in the system and removed a couple of them.
  
  4 - where the SID is currently reference, its all in small capitals (in tnsnames.ora, listener.ora, init.ora, when I set oracle_sid = test2 and in all the place)
  5. without defining the oracle home again everything was fine, but again, took me to see if that would solve the problem and that is (I put it in the advanced properties)
  6 - increase the shared_pool_size = 500M (also tried with 900 M)
  
  I managed to connect and access to databases, but the necessary tool perform a configuration and that is what is currently a problem now. Whenever the configuration runs, after a certain point, I get this error.
  
  My database is located in Windows Server 2003, Enterprise Edition.
  Oracle Database 10g Release 10.2.0.4.0 - Production
  
  I'm not able to create a database. Please help me. I work on migration and with different configurations, I created different databases.
  
  I dropped all databases, now and still not be able to create a new.

  Hi, there may several reasons for Oracle 10.2.0.4.0 and Windows Server 2003 platform.
  Of course, you can manually create database. But when the creation of database, what model did you select?

  I replaced Vista with XP. Almost everything well except that I get this problem adapter - driver not installed message"whenever I connect. I have been on the download from Toshiba site and almost everything has been installed to the L300. Not very techinical so I would be grateful for simple answers.

• ASM and SCAN listener running of the Oracle user not user network

  Greetings for the day!

  In one of my new customer environment, I see that ASM and SCAN are running oracle user not user network, although the ORACLE_HOME is on the grid software. I read somewhere that we should run ASM and SCAN from grid not Oracle. Please let me know if I'm right and if there are consequences of the performer of the Oracle user.

  The important word is expected here. It is suggested that 11.2, that the separation of roles, a non-oracle account must be used for the GI. But this is not essential, and certainly not wrong to use Oracle db and IM account as long as you do not use ASM according to security features. So nothing to worry about. You're good.

  Alerts of Oracle do not send mails in our environment.

  We tried to create an alert periodic test and gave our own identity, but still no luck

• Oracle on Debian 7 12: 'oracle' is not created.

  If I remember correctly, I've posted a guide for Debian 6 around January of last year, but I can't find any more. Maybe he got lost during the forum was last updated. I also wrote various other guides to install Oracle 11 g and XE on Ubuntu, that could be useful.   I'm working on a strange problem. I select a table and oracle does not, simply nothing, no errors, nothing, seems, the customer is waiting for data.

  After I put the arraysize / fetchsize to 10 works fine, slow but it works.

  After that, I tried to select a table with multiple columns (more than 100) and oracle does not again. I put the arraysize / fetchsize to 1 and after that, he worked for, the great ' table.

  I don't know what the problem is. If I connected directly to the machine and run my query 'local', everything works well. But the network seems fine, (AMT) ping works.

  It's maybe a problem with the listener configuration.

  Someone had a similar problem, or an idea to solve the problem?

  We found the problem. It wasn't a problem to oracle. A firewall/router cisco magic that happened in our network. After the guys admin reconfigured it, each reflection works very well.

• Help! Oracle does not load

  So after I installed 4.1 apex and I changed the admin password, Oracle does not load. It gives me a blanck page and the status says it all is loaded, I tried to open it to browsers without a bit of luck. It worked fine until I installed apex. What is the problem and how to fix it? Oh and I use 10g

• Composer of Oracle are not not in the component Palette

  I build webcenter application portal with runtime editing capabilities. I couldn't see lib Oracle composer tag in the component Palette. I checked that the composer of Oracle jar has been included in the project portal. The clues which could be the problem?

  Have you looked in the drop-down list in the component palette? Normally it is said ADF Faces. Don't you think Oracle composer in this list?
  Composer of Oracle is not a component that you will find in the list. Composer of Oracle is a set of components such as the pageCustomizable and the link to change mode and so on.
  Or do you mean that you don't see Oracle composer in the drop-down list? If so, can find you customizable page in the search field in the component palette? This will search all the libraries that have been registered.

• Oracle does not try to run the scheduled job
