Sqlplus cannot log in with the default password

Hello

I tried to log in as a user I in order to run a script (I read that the default password is the same as the schema name I in this case), but it gives the error:

SQL > connect
Enter the user name: I
Enter the password:
ERROR:
ORA-01017: name of user and password invalid. connection refused

Any ideas what could be the default password, or how to change it as sysdba?

Thank you

Please see category 6 in these docs. Schema (ABM... product passwords ZX) must be changed using FNDCPASS.

  • Windows 7 crashes my profile, leaving me with the "default" profile. Even if I wipe my laptop and re-install.

    Hello

First: I have two identical laptops purchased from Dell with the same hardware configuration - both delivered with Vista. I upgraded to W7 as soon as possible, and since then, one of the laptops does not load my profile several times.

I use to work as a system administrator, so of course, at the beginning, I didn't much attention to the mistake thinking it was just an incident. I formatted the computer, reinstall W7 and, of course, the error occurred again - constantly even if I wiped it and re-install.

What is happening is that the computer starts, I connect Windows crashes for the moment very loong and then all of a sudden he says "preparing your desktop". When that happens I know its load under the 'default user profile', it's 'welcome '.

This error occurs about two to three times in about 7 days. But not all the time - it's like periods. I usually get through this by organizing the closure for 4 seconds, restart, and then, if I'm lucky, gets through my office.

A few times that I had no chance - restart of 6 times in a row without luck somehow shows that the profile files are really damaged, and then I created a new migration profile all my old files. This process takes time - not simply copy my files but also the settings of my program.

Last week, I deleted my user just to create a new one-8 it recharges without success.

I looked in eventvwr.msc and found that everything begins with six fouls in a row. I don't really know what do - the error log says error but it seems not very well describe it.

    It goes like:

Software properly written (as opposed to malware, viruses, and poorly written stuff) has similarly on day 1 after installation on 30 days. So you can go ahead with your driver and software installation as fast as you want, as long as you create a new file image at strategic points and keep notes dates when you installed this component.

Given your experience, you will need to proceed cautiously with the automatic updates. First disable them, and then put the installation in Manual Mode so that you can install in small batches, again take notes.

If you use Acronis image to create images, then you will need only half of space compared to the native tool. And if divide you your drive and put your personal files on the D: drive then you will not lose them during a restoration of the image.

Be sure to keep your Windows Firewall active at all times and use a router. Make an Internet connection without a router (which is a hardware firewall) request in trouble. If you use a wireless network, make sure you use a WEP or WPA or MAC address screening encoding.

  • Urgent: Cannot log on to Windows 8! "" Your PC is offline. " Please sign in with the last password used on this PC"

I use W8 for months and all of a sudden, while traveling, I can't connect to my computer. I get the error "your PC is offline.". Please sign in with the last password used on this computer. "I am sure that I use the password. I have a flash drive and another laptop (Running OS X) at my disposal. What should I do to access my laptop?
I don't have access to my local network, or any network besides.
I have not recently changed password. I can't restore or refresh because it requires the password and says that isn't true. I never installed webroot or anything of that kind.
Results in the same number safe mode.
I can't connect to my Live account with my phone just fine.
I do not have a local account.
It's ridiculous and absurd oblivion by Microsoft. I'll be away a network known for a week and have literally no access to my computer. I would like to take this opportunity to warn all users of Windows 8 to make sure that they USE LOCAL ACCOUNTS. DO NOT USE DIRECT REPRESENTS WINDOWS 8, BECAUSE IF THIS HAPPENS TO YOU AND YOU CANNOT CONNECT TO A WELL-KNOWN. NETWORK, YOU WILL BE LOCKED.
I am aware that there are discussions on this topic, but I want to throw oil on the fire, so to speak, because as far as I know, there is no solution.

    * EDIT *.
The only solution is to connect to a known network. If you are not able to connect to a known network, you can not connect, simple as that. It's a big bug for sure. I repeat, change your account to a local account to avoid this problem.

So I solved this problem, but unfortunately, it was as bad as I thought. As I thought, you need to connect to a network "Known", and then try to connect. It should work. If you are not near a network known (as if I was), as far as I know, there is no solution. To avoid this, change your account to a "Local" account

My theory for the problem is the following:
When you connect using a Live account, the password is saved locally and on the network. If you are connected to a network, it verifies the password that you enter the password stored on the network. If they match, it will allow one, sign in. If you are disconnected from the network, Windows attempts to match the password online, realizes he cannot, then checks the local password. Somehow, in my case, the password locally must have been changed or deleted and so the password entered always was "Incorrect."
So yes, big problem, I'm sure the solution is quite simple, but in the meantime, use a local account to prevent this. I was stranded, and it was a huge headache and cost me many hours of work.

  • Canon MG5450 cannot be set as the default printer, error 0 x 00000709, please help!

    Hello MS community.

I'm lost, I tried several things to solve this problem, but could not succeed.
    My system is:
Windows 7 Home Premium SP1, stable and works well with a score of 5.9
My printer has been installed and deleted 3 times already and I tried both set up as a network printer or a USB connected. At the moment I installed it as a USB, but this will not let me install the default printer.
First the printer is accessible and print successfully from Word, ACDSee and some other applications but is not recognized by Adobe such as Photoshop & Acrobat products and does not Excel print. I know that this error has been discussed in several other threads, but yet I could not find a solution that worked.
I tried to repair the registry as following the instructions here about something else:

    (a) click Start.
    (b) type regedit in start search and press enter.
    (c) access the site mentioned below.

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows

    (d) in the right column, you will find key device, change the value of your printer name.
    (e) it is for example in the format: "HP LaserJet 4250 PCL6, winspool, Ne03:

    (f) right click on the value and click Rename, replace with the name of your printer.

When I try to change the key it doesn't let me, even if I ran regedit as an administrator. It is said:

Cannot change the device: error writing to the new content value. I wanted to put: series of Canon MG5450 printer, winspool, draw:

even if in the example, she said winspool, Ne03. I thought I could leave I had in default.

i also see another key which is:

    Load REG_SZ C:\Users\-(my user name here)-\LOCALS~1\Temp\mshikra.bat

This also I do not know what because if I go to this folder this .bat file is not present.

    I also tried this tool:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/mats/printing_problems/

and when he said will analyze it: series of Canon MG5400 printer is not the default printer, and then I clicked on fix it and id not said, not successful.

Now I don't know what else to do.

The only true left to try perhaps would be to reset all the settings of the printer (the printer connects to the home network with the wifi password) may disable the wifi wireless option, if possible. Switch it off and remove all the entries of the printer and try again to install it, but then perhaps on the administrator account.

    ideas? suggestions?

If she doesn't have internet, it knows only the last password you used to connect. Use it. That's what he tells you.

If it was connected it would verify the new password on the server, but it can't because it's... In offline mode. Use your old password and it should work.
