This is typical of a corrupted profile. To recover, perform the following steps:

Almost always, corrupt profiles are accompanied by damaged drive. During recovery, run a disk check with the /r or /f on your computer option.

Connection error: windows cannot load the locally stored profile
original title: connection error
Always get following message when trying to connect to my desktop PC
Windows cannot load the locally stored profile. Possible causes of this error include insufficient security rights or a damaged local profile. If this problem persists, contact your network administrator.
This looks like a corrupted profile. Assuming that you can connect with a user with administrator privileges, do one of the following procedures to restore your profile in the shape. If you are unable to connect, try to connect by using the built-in Administrator account (Ctrl-Alt-Delete struck twice on the login screen, enter the user: administrator, leave blank password unless you have changed at some point)

(works best if you connect with Safe Mode)"How to recover damaged Windows XP user profile"

JWPS: Alteration of the disc often accompanies this problem. Don't forget to run a "chkdsk" operation after you recover.

Try the following per this KB.http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/812339
Also, note, that link above is for XP. But it certainly looks like a profile problem. Here's how to create a new. Just create a new profile and delete the old one after the documents have been moved to the course.
1 / click on the Start button
2 / on the start menu, click the control panel option
3 / in the Control Panel, click the user account
4 / the user account window is now open
5 / in the list of options "Make changes to your account", click on manage another account
6 / user Account Control will now kick and ask permission to keep you. If you are the administrator, then simply click on the button continue. If you are not the administrator, then you need to get the administrator, the user name and password before you can continue.
7 / him choose the account you want to change the window will now open.
8 / click on create a new account
9 / the window "account name and choose an account type" open now
10 / type the name of the new account in the name dialog box.
11 / now select the Type of account you are interested in. You have two choice, Standard or administrator.
- Standard - standard accounts allow the user to use most of the software installed on your computer and also to change the settings of the system that are not related to other users or is security settings.
- Administrator - the administrator has complete control over the computer and can make changes they wish to
12 / once you have selected the type of account you want to create, click on the button create account
13 / new account will be created now.

Hello Dixon7,You can also do a simple check to confirm or not the temporary profiles are created.
- First check in C:\Users for all profiles not created by your customer.
- Then check Control Panel > System > Advanced system settings > user profile > settings.
- This will display a list of current profiles on the system.
Also, take a look on Microsoft for the Windows Vista KB Article, to see if it applies to your case: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947215.
Overall, the underlying issue is simply corruption profiles of Hordie recommendation to create a new profile if the best. You could then just migrate the older user profile data to the new.

Hello
You has made changes to the system before the error appearing? Cancel the changes.
(1) in Device Manager > right click on the driver, and then select uninstall
Reboot and Windows will reload the driver
(2) remove the upper & lower filters that cause errors in Code 31

Hello
USB devices remove all you can - restart the computer - is still there, the error? If it isn't
It is related to one of the add-in devices that you removed. If she is still there, then, the question is
either a device internal who can not remove or physically with the USB bus itself.
If it was not there, add devices at a time until it is displayed - keep in mind that it is
possible that there are two (or more) devices in conflict over the issue. Once you
identified the check of the aircraft with the help of the manufacturer.1. to find the control panel - device - device - right-click on it - uninstall - Manager then
Restart the computer to see if it clears.2. same place - double click on the device - driver tab - driver update - to see if that helps.
3. check with the support of system manufacturer (manufacturer of motherboard for customized systems), their
online documentation and drivers, diagnostics and ask questions in their forums on all known
questions. Update the Bios and chipset or other USB drivers.=====================================

Windows cannot load the driver for this hardware device. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)
Reference Dell 3000 win xp family, sp 2 card its replacement will not install right.
I just reinstalled windows on my Dell computer and have struggled to reinstall the different divers, applications and programs that I used to have. The long, everything went well, except for the audio part.
Windows Device Manager shows the icon replacement C-media with a yellow top warning label. Under "Properties", it shows this message: Windows cannot load the driver for this hardware device. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device.
I uninstalled and completely removed all traces of the drivers C-media, etc. of my computer, rebooted, reinstalled the driver C-media since the original CD (several times!), but the yellow warning label is always there! When I ask to reinstall drivers C-media a notice tells me I have the best drivers now.
BTW, the audio worked perfectly in this machine until the windows reinstall so I am sure that the problem is not with the sound card, drivers or the installation CD. Thanks for any help on this, jim

I'm a computer dunce. Any help out there?
Hi BarbaraWolfe,There are many causes of Code 39 errors:
- A required device driver is missing.
- A required binary file is corrupted.
- There is a problem with the file I/O process.
- A driver that refers to an entry point in another binary file cannot load.
Re-install the driver by downloading it from the link given:Additional reference on:Check if that helps.
