SSD of OEM diagnostic
Hello!
In my m7510 I have PM951 NVMe SSD, which I was told is the OEM of PM950 version. Just because of this software Samsung retail does not recognize this drive and not to talk to any diagnosis.
What is supposed tool to verify the integrity and status of this drive?
Use the Dell diagnostics on the drive OEM - F12 at startup.

Try to install Windows 7 from the SanDisk USB 3.0 Flash drive...
I spent days trying to find a solution to this, but nothing helped. I am trying to install an image pre-configured on a new Dell Latitude E5530 and Dell Precision T3500 (our two standard workstation deployments). At the prompt 'Where would you install windows?', I chose the disk/partition and get a message "Windows Setup could not create a new partition system.
Before I begin to explain - I made this configuration will leave if it is thousands of times with disks USB 2.0 without problem. (It installs custom and preconfigured win 7 for an enterprise environment.) The images we use are fine - they work with other USB 2.0 readers)
Material:
Dell Latitude E5530 / Dell T3500
128 GB Samsung SSD (Dell OEM) / Western Digital 320 single disc and two disks in RAID 1 (RAID Intel)
Installation drive: SanDisk Extreme 32 GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive
Software:
Windows 7 32-Bit Enterprise Edition
-Pre-configured image and answer file, custom (install.wim)
Here's what I've done previously. None of this worked at all:
- Clean the disk target (SSD) with diskpart (own > create > active > format (NTFS) > attribute).
- Clean the installation USB 3.0 drive and install re-copied the file several times.
- Cloned the installation drive USB 3.0 from a well-known work 2.0 USB drive.
- Addition of the latest Intel USB 3.0 Boot.wim in the USB 3.0 drivers installation disk.
- Tried manually navigate and load the drivers of intel USB 3.0 while the selection of drive / configure screen (they seem to load but the error persists)
- Boot order set to the target drive / array at the top of the list
- Off the other boot devices.
- Operation change of SATA (AHCI, SATA, RAID, etc.)
- I tried different ports USB 3.0 and 2.0.
- Tried with laptop in itself and dock.
It seems that the Windows 7 installer will not work on this USB 3.0 flash drive anything (not even on 2.0 ports). Each search than I on this subject shows results that relate to an upgrade install or simply clean the score target and marking as active (what I've done, and what does not). I can't, for the life of me, understand what the limitation or the problem, it is that is causing these installs do not work.
I don't have the option to try different USB 3.0 drives. Any help is greatly appreciated.
HI Maria,

IMac with Fusion Hard Drive - HD Setup for video editing
Hello
I just ordered a new iMac with the following specifications just for video editing:
iMac 27 "Quad - Core Intel Core i7 3.5 GHz
8 GB RAM
3 disc Fusion to - [I] I got this configuration with the merger of 3 TB for much due to the fact that it was a mixed open-box, otherwise I would of went with an SSD. [/ I]
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780MX with 4 GB of GDDR5
My question is: what is the best way for me to set up my hard drives (Cache OS, programs, file, media, media, projects, previews, exports, etc.) for editing with this iMac and hard drives that I own?
I currently use a combination of a HD Lacie Raid - 0 6 TB and 1.5 TB OWC FW - 800 Raid-0 for video editing on my MBP that has a 750 GB HD SSD and oem.
iMac installation:
3 to Fusion: operating system, programs, parallel
6 TB Lacie Raid: video/media storage disk
1 TB OWC USB 3 external:
Several OWB FW - 800 external references:
I might consider to get a 1 to Lacie thunderbolt HD, though it will have a significant advantage.
I'm intent on obtaining a raid of the Rainbow-8050 somewhere down the line, but that is out of my budget right now.
In addition, I already know the standard of the guidelines for the use of the disc which is in the link below, but since the iMac cannot be configured with multiple HDs, I'm looking for suggestions of knowledge of people with this type of installation.
http://forums.Adobe.com/servlet/JiveServlet/showImage/2-2906955-31395/guideline+disks.jpg
Thank you
I'm already a user of Areca (32 terabytes on Raid6). As you have a capable TB2 iMac that I would wait for the next version of the Areca 5080 TB2.
I suggest you a configuration of data 3 step; for example the project files on an external drive and Fusion cache on external SSD and based on external Raid 0 and as the third step one backup (BR, external drives, LTO, basically everything what is available or practical).

Weblog server license and 11.2 grid SGD psu?
Hi all
I had two questions (I have already tried searching in documents oracle and metalink notes, but he found nothing on it). The first thing, looks like oracle 11g OEM Grid requires a Weblogic Server. Which is fine, but wanted to know I have to pay extra for that or it belongs Oracle 11g grid OEM diagnostic pack licenses? If so, I was looking for an official response (doc or doc oracle metalink)
Also another thing I was curious was SGD? SGC is only 11.1.0.1.0 version or can it be upgraded to oracle 11 g 2? Below link, all I see is 11.1.0.1.0 software.
http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/OEM/grid-control/downloads/index.html
The thing that confused me was this link below. As in the doc below, it is said to apply patch 10270073 to SGD House (psu patch). So I was wondering, after applying the fix of the PSU. Is WHO is going to be to 11.2.0.2.1?
http://camoraict.files.WordPress.com/2011/02/install-Oracle-Enterprise-Manager-11gr1-on-Oracle-VM2.PDF
Patch 10270073
11.2.0.2.1 patch the updated valueOnce more, not to be confused by these output numbers.
11.1 GC OEM is the correct version fully control and administer the RDBMS Oracle 11 GR 2.
I'm sure there will be a version 11 GR 2 OEM GC

OEM PC upgraded with SSD, is back on the HARD drive, now 'infringement '.
Hello
A few years ago, I bought a cheap "emachines" for parents. To speed it up, I recently replaced the HDD with a SSD former and re-installed windows from scratch since an ISO downloaded from Digital River. I forgot if it is 32-bit or 64-bit. I called the helpline automated from key OEM cannot be activated online and everything went well.
A few weeks later the PC is regularly crashing, which I suppose is a problem with the SSD drive. Then I advise them to put the old hard drive back, they have carried out. Windows complains now that it is not authentic.
Apart from re - install from scratch, I can do to convince windows that OEM key is always authentic? It is still used with the same motherboard and according to this article on PC pro, the key is tied to the motherboard and it is perfectly fine to change the hard drive.
Thank you very much!
Jonathan.

How can I fix it?

1515eo: move Windows OEM to SSD
Hello
I make one of these SSD on my HP PC. And I want to transfer my operating system to it.
Now my question is, how do I activate windows when I have the OEM windows where I think that the key is activated for my motherboard. How can I transfer my windows on my SSD.
I had Windows 8 early on, now I have upgraded to windows 10.
@Peos98001: activation of the Win10 is, in fact, related to the motherboard - but you say nothing about how to change that.
Information from the hard drive is not part of the activation information stored on the servers of activation of Ms. Once a machine (Microsoft refers to it as a 'device') is activated, you can change the hard disk (and other components) as often as you want and it will remain activated.
How do I know this? Simple - I did EXACTLY what you plan to do - migrate my installation Win10 of a HDD to SSD. And when I rebooted with the SSD, the activation remained intact - there wasn't anything I had to do.
Good luck

Win7-64 OEM - installation SSD - HP touch?
Compaq Presario CQ57-214NR - AMD E350
2 x 4 GB GSkill
Win7-64
I hit a light wall and need some help running around it. Is it possible to use a Win7-64 OEM DVD to reinstall the OS and use the key from HP?
I managed to botch semi a Norton "Ghost" of the Toshiba HDD (always in 'original' home State) to an Agility3 OCZ 60 GB SSD. Be smart (and lazy), instead to work through it, I thought an OS quick install and the update and updated drivers today is the way faster, cleaner.
Not sure that the Agility3 is on the white list, anyway. And I am not sure that the Protocol can be with the original HARD disk. Is it a problem with the maintenance of the original 'install' on an external drive?
Not that I really need...
Hello:
You can of course.
Sometimes the image is too large for the SSD and you cannot use the recovery disks.
You can also burn your own Windows 7 DVD from the official MS ISO download of the files at the link below.
You burn as an ISO image, while the DVD is bootable. You can also use the MS USB flash drive installation tool and use these files and install W7 from a USB (4 GB +). Ideal for notebooks without DVD drives.

Can I move the OEM folder on my D: drive to free up space on the ssd drive?
With 10 windows can update requiring 20 GB of space for the 64-bit version, I need to free as much space as possible on the ssd - I move the oem folder in the d: drive, at least temporarily?
Any other clues about how to free space - all the documents/picuture on D: already move and have disabled the hibernation.
Why don't you create the Acer erecovery support, so you can delete the OEM folder and the Acer recovery partition?

Clean reinstall of windows OEM 8 to new SSD
Hello world
I just bought new hp with preinstalled on w8 envy. Separately, I bought a 250 GB SSD. Unfortunantly I was not able to move my os again by car because its oem version. Is it possible to put the new SSD as main boot drive?
In fact, I found the solution. At least for my particular problem. I could not use samsung migration tool as w8 oem installed on there. But after I did a upgrate migration worked w8.1. Sorry to keep you all up-to-date and big thank you to advise and your time.

Hi members of the community.
One of my colleagues brought me his personal computer to the difficulty. It's a phone of 2011 which has Win 7 pre installed on it (OEM with a recovery partition). It has no support for the version of Win 7 and she never bothered with the creation of recovery media or to order the installation media, but since its purchase, it has upgraded to Win 8, then 8.1 and finally Win10.
Problem, it is the disk HARD watch of major equipment failures and every time you start more errors appear that problems are cascade. There is a recovery on the HARD drive partition, but windows has trouble starting, I fear that this recovery partition is useless, because we don't want the windows reinstalled on this faulty drive.
Can any advise if there is a way to install a windows OS on windows versions, that it has improved or the original win7 OEM supplied with the laptop without the media and with a damaged HARD drive?
The hard drive that is damaged is a 750 GB drive at 5400 RPM samsung - she bought a new 980 GB SSD sata III. I have already confirmed the laptop can use Sata III - I have a true picture and was curious to know if I can clone the recovery partition (if its still viable) can I do it on the SSD and then force the recovery on the SSD drive? or that violate the license for OEM?
Any advice would be appreciated, because I'm used to using volume licenses and I am new to OEM preinstalled OS damaged.
Thank you very much
ENO.
Because the system is currently registered and activated with 10 Windows, just download the Windows 10 edition which currently installed, and then perform a new installation.
How to download official Windows 10 ISO files
then
How to: perform a clean installation of Windows 10
If you are prompted to enter a key click, product do this later and 10 Windows wakes in the coming days.

1 TB hard to go OEM Windows 8 msata SSD 64 GB
I bought a computer preloaded with OEM Windows 8 installed on the hard disk of 1 TB of spinning.
Then I bought a 64 GB of msata SSD drive to put the windows partition on (given that Lenovo has no drivers for the quick drive it is to windows 8 again).
Then, I bought the pro upgrade windows (more for the .iso image file and then nothing).
Problem is that windows restore/update does not give you an option to move the windows partition and when I try to reinstall windows from the .iso upgrade trying to read the product key off the coast of the bios (which isn't good for lenovo recovery) and fails.
I even entered the product key in the installation prompt in windows before restarting Setup but always comes back with something to the effect of "product key entered does not match any image on disk", which is correct if reading from the bios, but it will not give me an option to a different key.
Is there a more advanced option of reinstalling windows 8 on another drive?
I tried to use the option of control panel disk management to shrink the C: partition, it does so had to use Easeus.
I then tried using the Windows 8.1 image upwards. He would backup but not restore to the new disk, even if the new drive is larger. Used the Win8.1 CD and went into recovery mode / advanced.
Easeus to clone again SSD.
If Easeus (the free version release for consumption) has worked well, used to reduce the original score (up to 110 G with 80 GB of data), and then used Easeus to clone for the new (240 GB) SSD.
My system is UEFI and GPT. It starts without the need to reinstall anything.
At the start, I hit F12 and selected the new UEFI SSD as a boot device, so I didn't need to unplug the old disk

New OEM SSD - what is best backup/upgrade? (SD7SN3Q256G1002 - Zenbook UX305FA)
Bought Asus Zenbook UX305FA-USM1 with this SanDisk model M.2 SSD 256Go (search here the text "peripheral storage"; or "and M.2 SSD module" for SSD in the photo). This is my first experience with SSD and I'm more than a little impressed!
But I worry about SSD and might like to have an image clone SSD ready at any time to replace the factory unit. But a call to technical support phone SanDisk could not immediately recommend a replacement but rather suggested to contact Asus first for their recommendation. So I come here first for suggestions. A capacity of about 256 GB is sufficient for me, especially since the largest units seem to be out of my price range.
I'm still learning about new connections since the old days of IDE... but I think this isn't "M2", SATA III (?). By the look of it, it's a 80mm in length.
I'll probably have follow-up questions, so I'll leave my question to that for now... Any suggestions? ... anyone with experience?
SanDisk does not sell a SSD m2 to the retail, so he would not have a SanDisk SSD you can buy separately for your computer. Now that said if your computer has a 2.5 SATA port "or a port MSATA form factor of SanDisk options there but m2 is not sold at retail.
