  I'm in the middle of an upgrade to vSphere 5.1 5.1 vSphere update 1. I have vCenter protected by HB and SQL on a separate computer (also protected by HB) I also run Syslog, Update Manager and Proxy authentication on vCenter.

  I got to step 3.c

  3. change the primary/active server role:

  a launch of the vCenter Server Heartbeat wizard configure server and click the tab of the Machine to change the server role for the current server (primary) to the active State and click Finish.

  b using the Service Control Manager, start the Server Heartbeat of VMware vCenter service.

  c using the vCenter Server Heartbeat Console, check that all the status icons on the server: summary page are green indicating that the boot process is completed and protected from all the services are started.

  d using the Service Control Manager, stop the service Server Heartbeat of VMware vCenter.

  As the vCenter service does not start, I'm stuck at this point. As far as I'm concerned, the error is quite logical. I've updated vCenter using the secondary server, and then I'm trying to connect (according to the guide) with another version that breaks down.

  If I continue with the services stop and launch the installer SSO, it is trying to perform an uninstall!

  Did I miss something in this upgrade?

  Hi all.

  I tried to upgrade our Vsphere for VM Windows 5.5 to Vsphere 6.0 for Windows (latest version of January).

  The upgrade checking failed after entering the credentials of user Vcenter. The error is 'unsupported database driver.

  In fact the DSN connection uses the SQL native client 2005.90.2047. Is also on the system SQL native client 10. (Version 2009.100.2500) is installed. I think it's the SQL 2008 R2 native client.

  The SQL Vcenter database is on a remote database SQL 2008 R2 server.

  Have you removed the old DSN entry and created a new using the driver of the new (and good)? And have you checked the registry if your change reflected here (\VMware Virtualcenter\DB HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VMware, Inc.)?

  It takes to keep the same name and IP address? If we will give different vcenter and IP server name then how will transfer of post stage

  If you can keep the same name of host and IP, this would make it so much easier.  That said, if you need to change the host name and IP address of vCenter you can run into issues where all your guests appear as disconnected. Usually, you can right click and choose 'connect', asked credentials for your hosts of ESXi, but after that they should remain connected.

  It seems that it is a TEEN driver problem, not specific to LabVIEW.  If you use the query

  SELECT Convert(varchar,Start_Test_Time,21) FROM Engine_Tests

  You can retrieve data in a string and convert it into a timestamp.

  You can also use

  SELECT DATEPART (msStart_Test_Time) FROM Engine_Tests

• Deleting a Sharepoint SQL database

  I have a Windows SBS 2008 Server and my OS drive is out of space. We run an exchange server to let you know that if you go to low disk space the exchange server can start acting funky. I found a sharepoint SQL database file that is 9 GB that I would delete, but I was not able to.

  I followed some instructions to make the files smaller newspapers through SQL Server Management Express, but I couldn't connect to a database that has been "Microsoft internal...." ", where I suspect the Sharepoint SQL database is located.
  In the end, we do not use Sharepoint so I would just delete the files associated with it. I also tried to follow the instructions on how to uninstall sharepoint, only to discover that it is not installed on the current server.
  I am at a loss on what to do now. Honestly every article I google was too technical for me. Thus, any suggestions with real instructions would be very beneficial for me! I am very tech savy, but have not learned much jargon tech Server at all and I'm a newb to SQL databases.

By choosing one of the lines in the list box, another opens showing another set of data retrieved by a generated SQL query. At the moment I only select one line at a time to see it has the data, but I want to expand such that I can select mutiple rows in the list both box and see all their relevant data.

  With only one selection, I can switch the index value of the selection of a function table of Index with the database as another entry and build my SQL statement.

  But with multiple choices, I guess I have to build a table on the index values and use them as reference to build the SQL statement. And I don't know how exactly to do that.

  Here is the code that I currently work for a single selection in the drop-down list.

  Regarding the table of construction:

  I can see Hat multicolumn listbox you have multiselection enabled and is limited to one or zero element selected at a time. To allow multiselction; Done just right click your multi-column listbox and change your selection to support multiple selected items. The NewVal to the structure of the event should change to a single index number in a 1 d of the numbers indexed table. No coding required. Then just to retrieve all items (since you know the index) and create the quiry. Quiry part, I'm not really (long time no see SQL), but it looks like a loop for to create the chain should do the trick?
