• Flash videos (youtube and vimeo, incorporate or not) do not play even if the controls indicate that playback is in progress.

  When I try to visit vimeo.com with Firefox (version 37.0) I get a message block server called 429 too many requests. However, I can then use another browser (Konqueror - provided with my Fedora KDE plasma system [fc21]) to access the site without problem.
  I tried to clear the cookies and the cache of Firefox and running in safe mode with all add-ons disabled, but he always brings the 429 error message.

  You can delete all data stored in Firefox with a specific area through "Forget this Site" in the context menu of a history entry ("" history > view history "or" view > sidebar > History "") or via the subject: permissions page.

• When I play videos from VIMEO, all I get is the image and no sound. They work fine on IE, but suddenly won't be on Firefox. With the help of Windows 8.1.

  This just started today. (I believe that yesterday there was an 8.1 automatic Windows Update when I shutdown - don't know if that is related.) Anyway, when I click on a video VIMEO - video VIMEO ALL - everything I get is video (photo), but no sound.

  If I go to the same link in Internet Explorer, the same VIMEO video and audio play perfectly.

  Videos from other sites, Youtube, etc all work seamlessly in a browser.

  Simple solutions for this fix?

  I use a desktop computer Dell XPS 8700 relatively new with Windows 8.1.

  Nevermind - I just ran an update of Firefox, and that seems to fix the problem.

• Cannot connect on Vimeo

  I can't connect to my Vimeo account using Firefox 33.1. I can get a service password reset, reset my password and then log in. After a disconnect and then can't log in again without resetting my password again. My password has been reset 3 times today. I cleared the cache several times with the own system of Firefox and also CCleaner without result. I checked that all cookies are allowed by Firefox. I can, however, connect without problems using IE. I'm under 64-bit Windows 8. If this situation persists, I'll have to pass the browsers - I also had trouble logging into PayPal.

  I don't use AutoComplete. I checked that you asked, but no password is stored by Firefox. I found a page of different connection on Vimeo I can log in to my account. Surprisingly I can connect page either using 33.1 Firefox on PC Win 7, but this victory 8 will not. Chrome is the same thing, so I don't think that the problem in Firefox. It must be some incompatibility between the Vimeo page code and win 8. I wait to see if Vimeo have ideas.

• Why can't I play clips of vimeo with Firefox 29 while I play with other browsers?

  It was a 4K video playing perfectly while on Vimeo, but downloading, looks like this, which is a screenshot of the downloaded video playing on my desk.  .  .  I also converted it 720 p to make it easier to download.

  Is this something 'bounce' Vimeo has put in place to prevent people to download or is there another reason?

  I should also add that my computer plays perfectly the other 4K videos.

  What file format is the downloaded file from Vimeo?

• Vimeo does not load correctly, just the version base HTML; Vimeo support cannot resolve the problem, says that's not on their end. I can access through Chrome.

  Unexpectedly, a few weeks ago, I wasn't able to load the Vimeo page, it loads just the HTML version of basic (white page with all the links in blue, one under the other); I can not connect as it is says my "form session has expired', which apparently refers to the cookies. Vimeo support have been troubleshooting for more than a week and none of the suggestions changed one thing, while they have concluded the problem is not on their end.
  I have cleared the cache, cookies and history, there is no Add ons, I reset and restarted Firefox in safe mode, I uninstalled and reinstalled the browser, nothing has changed. I have no problem with any other site and Chrome can be accessed, but I prefer to stay on Firefox.
  I installed a previous version of Firefox (3.6.26) and he let me load the Vimeo page, but since it has exceeded it would cause problems with some links, so I'm back to version 29.
  Any help would be greatly appreciated, as that becomes quite annoying for me.

  If you use extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) which can block content (e.g., Adblock Plus, NoScript, Flash Block, Ghostery) then make sure that these extensions are not blocking content.

  You can check the network and the Net log log in the Inspector (Firefox/tools > Web Developer) to see which files are blocked and display a file of size zero.

  I'm looking for a compressor settings for 4 K export in format h.264 for Vimeo.  I tried to build one, using the suggestions of Vimeo, but the export will fail every time. I don't know that I missed something. I was able to get there with Adobe Media Encoder, but I would like to make things out of FCPX. Any suggestions?

  Just so you guys know we have found and corrected this problem.

  It was caused by the arriere-visibilite face: hidden on the slider, which was intended to prevent glitches in webkit browsers, but fortunately it was not necessary for our specific cursor.
