Flash Player crashes when you try to update.  I have an old version but when you are prompted to update the Flash Player Installer shim and will not continue.

Try the offline installation program:

  • Reinstallation of Flash on Windows 8.1

Flash has been played upward and throwing errors every few seconds while I was trying to surf the net with internet explore.

I decided to solve this problem by reinstalling.

I followed the guide on: Uninstall Flash Player | Windows

and successfully removed from my system, but now when we're following second half of resettlement, the part of the actual plant, I can't get a simple link to the installer.

The guide led me here: Adobe Flash Player install for all versions

But it's only for 'enabling' Flash. I am running windows 8.1 x 64 and I tried the link at the bottom of the page above, but just, it takes me to Microsoft and gives me a download that's no ' my computer' in their own words.

Where can I manually download and install a copy of flash for internet explore 11 after following the above mentioned guide to uninstall?

Please see the screenshot I've added to my previous post... text indicating the instructions are not applicable to Internet Explorer on Windows 8 and higher and the edge on 10 windows are displayed at the top of the page.  I know that the text stand and soon is an update to make the text larger.

Since Microsoft built-in Flash Player for Internet Explorer on Windows 8 and higher and Edge on Windows 10, the program uninstaller does not account of Flash Player ActiveX on these systems and proceed to uninstall the plugin NPAPI or PPAPI that can be installed on the system.  Is there was an error uninstalling the NPAPI or PPAPI, then it comes up an error.

  • Flash for Windows Vista 64-bit

Flash didn't work for some reason any of this morning.  I spent HOURS trying to find a flash 11 version which is compatible with my computer laptop 64 bit.  Help!

The installation of Flash Player 11.3 programs have been combined; the installer will install the player to 32 bits on 32 - bit systems and install a drive of 32-bit and 64 - bit on 64 - bit systems.

Combined installers can be downloaded on http://helpx.adobe.com/content/help/en/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-Windows.html #main - pars_header

However, given that Vista 64 - bit is not officially supported by Adobe, I don't know what he's going to install on this system.

    Another useless answer, I know.

Why the reader most recent Flash for Windows so plant them?

I use the latest update of Flash player that has developed on this computer.  It's Flash player version 11.1.102.62 on a Windows 7 computer.  I have experienced excessive crashes Flash player in Firefox and Internet Explorer.  Since the two latest updates of Flash player who, it seems to come from Adobe it is a big problem with Flash player crashes.

Previously, there was no problem... then there was the update yesterday and problems began.  I was hoping the last update would have fixed this problem, but now it's worse.

Is it possible to return three updates and install older Flash Player?

Adobe will never get this fixed number?

  • How to enable flash in windows 8

Site Web from Adobe says that Firefox is installed. Works under Internet Explorer. But Firefox Plugins Options does not Flash or shock. Try a bombs of installation with an error that it can't find entry point into a Windows system file. How can I get Firefox to see that Flash is already in Windows 8?

Adobe has different installers for IE and Firefox, because IE takes an ActiveX control, and Firefox takes a plugin. You may need the second Installer if you have never run before.

    http://get.Adobe.com/flashplayer/

Visit using Firefox and do not forget to uncheck all the unwanted extras.

After that the installation program downloaded, you will need to run it. If this is the problem, you can try the Installer 'offline' that does not need to connect to Adobe for more files and see if that works best:

    https://www.Adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html

Choose one of the downloads for "Browser Plugin"

    A little luck?

After the update windows 8.1 and later to win 10 screen flashes all the time between desktop screen and blue, already install all updates of HP with the intell and Windows safe mode - the same situation, all reinstalled video drivers by myself, but still no result,

is it possible to solve this problem without getting windows to the previous version? or reinstall the entire system is the only solution?

    Hi @nazik_UA ,

Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A place where you can find solutions for your problems with the help of the community!

I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your question on your HP ENVY m6 Sleekbook and issues with a screen flashing after an update.

Here is a link to put the laptop in Safe Mode. This occurs in safe mode?

You can try to use the Windows Update Troubleshooter to fix updates that do not come through Windows 10.  Please restart the laptop twice to make sure that all updates are completed!

Here is a document that shows how update the drivers that do not work correctly with Windows 10.

If this did not help, you need to reinstall the operating system.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you.

  • Windows 7 does not recognize my 3 Seagate external drives but is very good with Western Digital and other sticks USB Flash. Windows Vista will see them.

My apologies if this is a query repeatedly, but I can't find a job anywhere and he leads me into the wall.

I have 3 external Seagate hard drives. All 3 range from about 3 years 11 months old, 1 TB - 3 TB of capacity, and I use them all from time to time to back up my media. In the past months, my Dell XPS ceased to recognize them, 95% of the time. Sometimes they will be Plug and Play and be fine, but otherwise the result when I plug them is coming the power light and the whirring disc fortunately but nothing on the laptop. They recognized themselves on my other machines running Vista. All other Flash memory devices are very good.

I also have a hard drive Western Digital external powered, almost identical, that Plug and play every time.

I tried all my ports and various cables and adapters. I tried them on other machines and they are very good, it seems to be just with my Dell and the Seagates. It recognizes everything that I plug in there from the iPhone to Flash Drives. It has all the latest drivers and Windows updates.

When they're not working, they do not appear in the devices, disk management, Explorer or UVCView Manager. When they do, all settings appear to be well. My laptop runs Windows 7 Edition Home Premium with Service Pack 1.

I assigned each their own letter drive, disabled power management and they are not protected by Word. The drivers are the standard Windows ones, because these devices do not use their own. I have the latest chipset drivers, everything works perfectly and is completely up to date.

When I run UVCView (when one of them does not work), it is said there is an error autour MaxPacketSize, current externally is set to 9 and it said "ERROR: low peripheral speed require bMaxPacketSize0 = 8" branded error. I don't know if this is a factor? This may explain why it's slower transfer data to my machine that has USB3.0 it does on another machine, it begins at 130 MB/s and falls to 30 in 10 seconds.

I tried all combinations of power off.

    I activated the network detection.

I uninstalled all the USB in the Device Manager and reinstalled after the start.

All 3 discs work instantly in my older Vista laptop runing.

I am a loss to understand. I'm pulling my hair out and I don't have a lot to lose these days! There must be a setting in my computer or on the Seagates but I checked all the usual places and some of the more irritable areas.

    Thank you in advance.

I'm surprised that the removal of the INFCACHE did not work.  Readers (all external references in fact) were cut at the time, right?  With a reboot after and before you plug anything back?

These instructions really come down to:

Unplug all USB devices other than the keyboard and mouse
    Open C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore
    INFCACHE.1 and rename it INFCACHE.old
    Restart the computer
Reconnect it (one at a time) each USB device - giving the system about 30 seconds per device to 'catch up '.

If you got on the rest as well your system files are good to go.

  • When will adobe Flash for windows RT come out?

Flash is already on the RT of Windows, but only works on sites that have been authorized by Microsoft.

  • How to stop the title bar and border of blinking/flashing in Windows 8 Pro?

Regardless of what is or is not running. A (desktop) application or a program/process of Windows (File Explorer) and it is just down right annoying when watching TV in Media Center. If the 'window' is not full screen or reduced to a minimum and some downtime on the keyboard or the mouse is detected the 'top' window title bar and border blink and get progressively faster and more annoying. This is the top of the window. Why must he beg for attention? And how it stop! In addition, and I'm not sure that this is relevant, but the mouse pointer has a circle flashing next to her all the time. A judgment that would be nice too.

I think I found a solution to this title bar and border blinks problem. I have a same problem and experienced looking in msconfig, click on the service tab and hide Microsoft. I would try disabling the brand of computer like HP, Dell, Toshiba, etc. I did for my HP laptop and disable its manufacturer, then restart, and the title bar and border do not Flash. We hope that the work plan.

Windows 8 Flash is integrated, but not available, how do I that it available

    Hello

    Sorry for the late reply.

Flash Player is built into Internet Explorer in Windows 8.

You don't need to install Flash Player separately.

However if Flash is not working properly, or you are facing problems during use, please refer to the link provided by John in the post above.

You can click Test Flash Player to make sure it's working properly.

Hope this helps, get back to us if you need further assistance for Windows.

  • How can I fix the window sizing being messed up in Flash using Windows 10?

The sizes of windows are very bad in Flash 2015, 2014 and animated. I've just updated to win 10. Photoshop is fine. Turn on and off again does not work.

The tool Panel is all wrong, resizing does not help (the tools are outside the window) the change document window does not display the ok button.resizing.jpg

Go into your display settings (right-click on an empty part of your desktop) and how to set the default display of 100% scale.
