ggsci > urban alter now

Or explicitly specify a date time:
ggsci > urban alter start 2012-08-13 12:00

I also noticed that this line:
table urbanlive.*

Missing the semi colon closing. It should be:
table urbanlive.*.

Make sure you read on current transactions. This is important when you START capturing change data and perform the initial synchronization. If you do not understand this won't boot you properly and you will be always out of sync.

Good luck

  • Extract SQL Server - error - OGG-00868 Supplemental logging is disabled

    Hello

We strive to replicate from a SQL Server 2008 database to the Oracle database, but when you try to start the extraction process that we get the following error message:

OGG-00868-additional recording is disabled for the database 'GoldenGate. To enable logging, follow these steps: 1) value 'trunc. log on chkpt.' to false. (2) create a full backup of the database. Please refer to the "Oracle GoldenGate for Windows and UNIX Administration Guide" for more details.

I read that for the activation of additional logging is sufficient to 'Add table_name trandata' and this is done, and we use the extraction process is the following:

    EXTRACT cap_or4
    SOURCEDB GoldenGate
    TRANLOGOPTIONS MANAGESECONDARYTRUNCATIONPOINT
    EXTTRAIL c:\GoldenGate\V28983-01-GG-111112-SQLServer-Windows-x64\dirdat\C4
    TABLE GoldenGate.dbo.DES_T1;

And the "trunc.log on chkpt ' set to false.

We do not know what to do, or to check... someone has an idea?

Thank you very much, best regards,

    Araitz. -.

    Hello

as indicated in the installation guide, do at least a database full backup before starting the Oracle GoldenGate process for the first time.

  • STOP: c0000221 {Bad Image Checksum}. The image rpcrt.dll is possibly corrupt and recovery XP says error during the extraction process. Details of error: path not found___

My friend turned on their laptop packard Bell recently and had the following problem. Windows XP screen loads but is then followed by a blue screen that says STOP: c0000221 {Bad Image Checksum}. The image rpcrt.dll is possibly corrupt. The header checksum does not match the checksum calculated.

I can't the laptop to go further. I have accessed the Microsoft recovery Panel and try a non-destructive recovery as there are some precious photos that need backup. However, when you select 'no profile' to begin the recovery, I get the message:

Error during the extraction process. Details of error: path not found

I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to this sort of thing, but if someone can provide step by step help giving rise to lose photos, I'd be willing to give it a try. I also have XP Home Edition disk that came with the laptop but has never been opened. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

You hear your message said something about rpcrt4.dll?  It is important to relay the exact message you see.

Please provide additional information on your system:

What is your system brand and model?

What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?

Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, MSE, Comodo, etc..

The question was preceded by a loss of power, aborted reboot or abnormal termination?  (this includes the plug pulling, buttons power, remove the battery, etc.)

The afflicted system has a CD/DVD drive work?

You have a true bootable XP installation CD (it is not the same as any recovery CD provided with your system)?

You use some CD to access this Panel of Microsoft recovery where this "no profile" option is?  I don't know what all this means if it isn't some CD shipped with your system, in which case, I would use it for a coaster instead of something to fix your system.

If the c:\windows\system32\rpcrt4.dll file is missing or afflicted, you do not start in the last good known Configuration.

You also will not start in any kind of Mode safe no more.

Even if you could boot mode safe, you would find that sfc/scannow does not work in Mode without failure in all cases (never).  If you try it, you'll see a message like this:

Windows file protection could not initiate a scan of protected system files.

The specific error code is 0x000006ba [the RPC server is unavailable.].

Failed to start the RPC mode server safe either.

I can't recreate your error exactly, but it is easy to replace the rpcrt4.dll file.  Looks like you have a working CD drive, so put yourself a Hiren boot CD and when you started on this, you can copy your precious files to a USB device for safety.

There should be a backup copy of rpcrt4.dll already on your system, here or here:

    c:\Windows\System32\dllcache

    c:\windows\ServicePackFiles\i386

You need to rename or replace the rpcrt4.dll file which is in c:\windows\system32 and replace it with one you will find the backup copies.

There should be a backup copy of rpcrt4.dll already on your system, here or here:

    c:\Windows\System32\dllcache

    c:\windows\ServicePackFiles\i386

When you get the Hiren's CD's, you can use to replace the missing or suspicious file.  If you need help with that, first get the Hiren's boot CD made and start over, then we can continue.

Do you have a Hiren BootCD you can download here:

    http://www.hirensbootcd.NET/

On the left, click on download, scroll down, choose the latest version, the download link is a little hard to see.  It is at the bottom of the page, above the drop for older versions and looks like this (click this component to download the ZIP file):

Direct HTTP mirror + Torrent, Torrent Magnet

Click the "Live HTTP Mirror" link to start the download and save the ZIP file on your desktop of somewhere that you can remember.

The ZIP file is large, so the download will take probably some time to complete.  Then unzip the download to extract the Hirens.BootCD.ISO file that will be used to create your new bootable CD.

Create a bootable CD. ISO file is not the same as simply copying the. File ISO onto a blank CD.  You must use software that includes how to burn a. ISO to a CD to create a bootable CD.

File ZIP the Hiren is the file BurnToCD.cmd that you can double-click to launch it.  The BurnToCD.cmd will use the file BurnCDCC.exe to burn the. ISO file onto a blank CD using your existing CD burner.  You can also use your own burning software as long as your software is able to create a bootable CD. ISO file.  More modern burning programs can create a bootable CD. ISO image.  Create a CD from an ISO image bootable is not the same as just the file on a CD burning.

If you need a simple and CD burning, this is a free software popular software:

    http://www.ImgBurn.com/

Here are some instructions for ImgBurn:

    http://Forum.ImgBurn.com/index.php?showtopic=61

It would be a good idea to test your new bootable CD on a computer running.

You may need to adjust the computer BIOS settings to use the CD-ROM drive as the first device to boot instead of the hard drive.

These adjustments are made before Windows tries to load.  If you miss it, you will need to restart the system again.

When starting on the Hiren's CD, you will see a menu of options.  Choose Mini XP.  It will appear while Windows is loading and you will be presented with a desktop computer that has the look and feel of the interface of Windows Explorer, you are already accustomed to using.

Using the Mini XP, you can access Internet, maneuvering around your system, search for files, copy files, replace the files and run the scans for malware, edit the text files (like the c:\boot.ini) etc.

There are dozens of free and useful tools included in the CD that can be used to repair your system or copy your important personal files on another device (like a USB device or an external drive) in the case where you just give up and decide to reinstall your XP (I hope that you will not make this decision)

Do, or do not. There is no test.

I need YOUR voice and the points for helpful answers and propose responses. I'm saving for a pony!

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

Compatibility for the db is not the problem, it's the real transactions that is different log structure and affecting compatibility 2005 only sets certain characteristics and needs of SQL 2005 syntax, if unfortunately there is no work around to use OGG for Capture against a database of sources SQL Server 2012 until a supported version is out and I don't know when it will be.

Now, that being said, this may seem a strange thing, but you can use SQL Server transactional replication to replicate on a SQL Server 2008 system (2005 in fact is no longer supported from earlier this year, although I don't know what it means for customers/users with existing OGG license for 2005) then use OGG on this 2008 database to replicate to Oracle. Just a thought for now.

  • New archives are generated with 640 causing permission extracted from abend

    Hi all

We have configured the normal extraction process (not ALO). But whenever from trying to read archives abends with error permission denied archiving log.

We noticed that the newly created archives are courtesy of 640. We do not use the user oracle to GG, we have created different user OS for GoldenGate.  We changed the permissions on the mountpoint of archives but the ancient archives only modified permissions and not the archives newly generated.

GoldenGate OS user cannot be group DBA as company policy allows for no do. Default umask is 022

    The 10.2.0.4 basic version

    OGG version 11.2

Any help will be really appreciated. Just that the archives are generated with 644 permissions.

    Thank you and best regards.

    Trush.

This is a default permissions by oracle internally and cannot be changed. Therefore, the solutions are,

1 schedule a cron task to change permissions.

    2. Add the OS GG group DBA user.

    Thank you

If you know all the columns that can be used to identify the records you want to replicate changes made to the target table, use them as KEYCOLS.
Then add extra using these columns as logging
    ADD TRANDATA owner.table_name, PASSES (col1, col2).

If you can not think of all those columns, just do
    ADD TRANDATA owner.table_name;

It will add an additional record with the WARNING below

2012-11-19 09:59:13 WARNING OGG-00869 No. unique key is defined for the table_name. All viable columns will be used to represent the key, but cannot guarantee the uniqueness. KEYCOLS can be used to set the key.

Data record of additional recovery enabled for the owner.table_name table.

A workflow command has been issued in the past.

    Thank you very much

    Hi andy,.

what you need to do is reversing the Oder river where the screw niUSRP the value Time.vi and niUSRP Trigger.vi configure a1.1ppear. Time of first setting then set up trigger. The example works correctly with version 1.1, since you are using version 1.2, that changes must be made.

In the example, you can set the clock to standard time (start time = 0) even if you had already triggered the reception. Thus, samples received will be acquired with time stamp later where the error.

  • OVFtool "IO Error" when .ova is extracted from 99%

I'm trying to convert a .ova into a .vmx using OVFTool 2.1.0 but after reaching 99%, I get a "IO error" / transfer drive failed, then the .vmx is deleted.

During the extraction process everything seems in good condition - I can monitor the size of the .vmx file and it continues to increase before it will be brutally deleted after that the error occurs.

    Could you try adding

-X: logLevel = trivia to get a complete newspaper.

Also can you use tar to unpack the eggs and try to simply convert the OVF inside the EGG a vmx file?

  • Frequently the ERROR OGG-01028 face!

    Dear all,

I have a Setup door one-way replication of gold of my production CARS, 2 knots, 11 GR 2 on Linux for my day 11 GR 2 on Linux.

Often, when I run ggsci > info all.

1, 2 or more to my snippet are ADDED because of this error state:

    * 2012-04-12 22:02:32 ERROR OGG - 01028 Oracle GoldenGate Capture for Oracle, ext5.prm: object with the number of the object 80977 is compressed. Compression of the table is not supported.*
    * 2012-04-12 22:02:33 INFO OGG - 00991 Oracle GoldenGate Capture for Oracle, ext5.prm: EXTRACT EXT5 stopped normally.*

When I check the 80977 object in dba_objects, there is no object. When I check the compressed tables, I found nothing.

Simply, when I start the extract with the command "start extract ext5 ' it restarts without error.

Kindly help me to get rid of this error. Is it possible to ignore this error by adding a line in the excerpt settings file?

    Thanks, Imran

    Hi Imran,

    You are replicating DDL too?

If so, please check the procedure below.

Step 1) check if a notice is running on the database
Step 2 check) for the object_id in the GGS_DDL_HIST schema
    Select * from . GGS_DDL_HIST where OBJECTID = 80977;
Step 3) If step 2 gives (DBMS_TABCOMP_TEMP_CMP) or (DBMS_TABCOMP_TEMP_UNCMP) or (DBMS_TABCOMP_TEMP) output, to exclude this replication tables.
Step 4) add lines for parameter files below.
    OBJNAME EXCLUDE 'owner. DBMS_TABCOMP_TEMP * '& '.
    OBJNAME EXCLUDE 'owner. DBMS_TABCOMP_TEMP * '& '.
    OBJNAME EXCLUDE 'owner. "DBMS_TABCOMP_TEMP."

Reference: Bug 10377296: EXTRACT FAILED ON some COMPRESSED TABLES

It would be useful that you could provide the OGG version used here.

    Thank you
    Kamal.

  • ERROR-OGG-00423 found definition for source.person

    Hi Experts,

I use GG to test replication between 10g SchemaA g SchemaB 10 bodies. But when I try to launch my continued it shows abending status :( The error it give is "2012-03-05 13:22:21 ERROR OGG-00423 found no definition for the SOURCE." NO ONE. »

    These are the parmas

    EXTRACT EXTOCC

    reportcount every 30 minutes, rate
    card source.person, target dest.person;

Can someone guide me where I am doing wrong or have I missed something to do/Include?

In the param Replicat please try ASSUMETARGETDEFS, if source and target have the same structure of the table...
If the two structures are different, generate a source definition and use SOURCEDEFS in Param to replicate.
